Inspections by Propertyware

Not user friendly or efficient in any way. For example...The categories include system elements in each room. So items like HVAC and water heater are under every room instead of a category on it's own. Propertyware's work around is to just leave it bc N/A is default on all subcategories..but the real problem with this is that when EVERYTHING is marked N/A as a default the inspector is more likely to miss something as they as inspecting with a tenant talking to them. Just a few of many problems.

When it works, it's ok. But when it crashes mid-inspection, it is highly frustrating.

Fix this. Please.

This app will not let me do anything. I have a S8 and keep It updated I try to take one photo and it crashes. Also you have to take all photos landscape or the turn out 90 degrees off. When I take one photo it doubles them. Complete wast of time. I would get my boss to completely leave propertyware if I could.

Just tried emailing the developer as listed. Even the email bounced back!! Update, 5 years later and this app is still GARBGE. Don't waste your time and money. Find a different company now!!! We have been using this app as a company for almost 2 years and I don't know why. Today I spent 1.5 hours doing an inspection, the app crashed over 20 time and now it won't sync and I have to delete and reinstall and lost everything. Propertyware should be paying us money to keep this garbage!

Propertyware was promoted as the best platform to manage residential rental property. They introduced an app to do inspections of properties which was supposed to be good on Android or Ipad and neither work. We have been dealing with inspections disappearing after our staff have been in the property for 3 hours. The photos disappear and the inspection disappears. We have been fighting this problem with Propertyware for close to a year. Do you know what they have been telling us? Sorry for the inconvenience. I'd try something else before even considering this garbage.

Seems as if propertyware is never going to get this app to actually work on android tablets. Three different versions later and still crashes the app when attempting to take a picture. IOS app seems to work but constant problems with syncing. Wished andriod app worked because functionality is superior IOS app.

I spent hours doing g move out inspections and then saving and submitting them. Once they're submitted they disappear totally. It's a complete waste of time.

Have done 5 inspections so far and has been a game changer. Inspected a 3/2 with many defects in just over 30 minutes. Device used was a samsung 6 active.

Constantly crashes, doesn't always save photos, doesn't sync all details and photos, freezes in the middle of inspections.

Horrible app not updated in 2 years. Sounds like they are going to cancel it. Android version crashes every photo and takes 2 pictures every click. Apple app more stable. Plain yuck.

Locks up in middle of inspections sometimes multiple times.

Horrible, took 2hoir to conduct inspection, app keeps crashing after each pic taken , not to mention the report does not even populated in the system and was a total waste of time!!! Very frustrating!!(

So I complete about 40-60 inspection reports per month. When I send in my invoice for payment on these from my employer, there is no pictures attached in the reports. This is the most important part of the report.

Very flaky app. Often dies and works poorly on Android phone.

App don't let you reschedule reoccuring inspections. You must add it all over again.

Will never sync and always crashing in the middle of inspection

I recently updated my Android operating system and now the camera in this app doesn't work.

This app crashes everytime I open it, every time I add an inspection to it, everytime I try to close out of a report, we're looking at new software now.

Can't get items to sync. Very frustrating. Waiting for tech support to call back. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Now, I'm expired before I'm done! Not fun.

PLEASE DEVELOP THIS APP FURTHER! I love the concept. However, inspections take several hours to complete because pictures have to be taken separately and attached to the inspection in the full version. If anyone is using it successfully I would like to know what settings you are using.

Great concept but is almost unusable. None of the functions work as advertised. Using Samsung GS 5 - photos don't sync - setting don't hold, other issues as well. I am advised the fixes are not a high priority & I should not use the Mobile App - instead I should use the web based application via a browser. Definitely NOT a time saver - rather it's a time and money pit! Tech Support while empathetic is unable to resolve any issues. I'm told my issues have been escalated but may take 1-2 months - meanwhile there is no update or feedback.
