Does not work with phones newer than March 2018 because they have not updated since then. Does not go past the initial load screen. They just need to update the app so it's compatible with new phones' software. So otherwise, you have $60+ gadgets that do squat because they're not updating. But they're still selling these products 🙄😒 edit: I have also tried sending an email two separate times to the email address they give and never got a response
Still works on moto z4. App does freeze, and I was able to take and print 2 pictures before it froze up with logo, and the dreaded white screen that blinded me at night. 🤣 I have to take the photo on my phone camera, then I can edit it in the app, and print it. But the app won't physically take a photo. I guess a back road for all you who spent money on the printer and paper! Good luck moto dude's/dudets!!!
love the idea of the mod and what it does but the app refuses to connect to my google photos. the most recent update (which was last year) says it addresses this problem but i fail to see how. This is otherwise a neat gadget which is very fun to use but the lack of connection to google photos is definitely annoying.
So happy I purchaes a printer I can not use because the app doesn't work! It was fun for the week or so that it did work. I've tried uninstalling and re installing. I can pull up pictures but the print button does nothing. Thanks a ton.
Hardly function on motoz4 android 10. What a pathetic excuse for an app. Rarely functions or detects printer mod, which makes the mod completely useless. Already returned one of the two we have and received a full refund. Returning the second one as well. Make it open source and the problem could of been resolved.
the app is fine, but the moto mod is a mess! 200 bucks and the battery will die in the middle of printing even though it reports 100%. You can go through support, but they will not help you. I had the Mod for less than nine months before it started failing mid-print.
Not sure others issues, maybe their phones? This app is wonderfully easy to use with great placement of images making them effortless to find. I haven't played around with in app features yet, but adding to the images is super easy!
Permissions for everything? Permissions for contacts? Just print pictures. I won't use this app on my new phone. Wipe your old phone and use it on that, or sell the device. Way too many permissions for the quality of the product. Worst purchase because of an app ever!
Would give a 5 if it was a year ago. The app no longer recognizes the printer. If it does recognize it, it says the printer is busy and doesn't allow me to print. I would be willing to rate high if it worked like it used to.
It worked on the Moto Z2 and the Moto Z3 that I owned, but it's not working in my Moto Z4. What happened? I contacted the developer, but they refuse to respond. It still doesn't work after the latest phone upgrade. Why does C&A Marketing refuse to update this app when thier other apps like the HP Sprocket app works for the bluetooth printer I had to buy?
Invasive without giving you any choice... Requires granting access to contacts permission, and won't let you even launch the app without it. There is no reason a photo printing app should have mandatory access to your contacts to even work.
The app crashes before you can open it. Without the app it's useless. I just looked and saw that the software hasn't been updated in two years. it doesn't look like they're going to fix it anytime soon.
Same as everyone else, doesn't work. Tried contacting developer but got no response. When I tried to contact Motorola's support they kept telling me to troubleshoot my mod and ignored every mention of the app not working.
Google photos library doesn't work. I have to download each individual picture and place them in a certain folder to be able to see them in the app
Was great when it worked. No longer opens. Crashes upon launch. Figure it out. $150+ for a mod that I can't use and a bunch of paper. Ridiculous
Just downloaded the app and it barely works. Won't load 90% of my photos from anything, except a few of the most recent. Looks like I'll be deleting asap.
If you could make this work with Android 10 Moto 4 it would be worth the price. Cannot rate, new printer today. App goes away after the Polaroid logo. Guess I should have read the reviews before purchasing. 1 star as the logo is pretty. INTERESTING LENOVO SAYS PRINTER WORKS ON ALL THE MOTO Z PHONES.
Crashes. Won't open. I really wanted this to work. Bright side is my phone can now be used and an anchor :( 7 days to fix or it gets returned
App keeps closing on my Moto Z4. It shuts down before it even loads. It was working fine until the last update Now I have a $80 Moto Mod that I can't use anymore bc the app isn't working. Please update and fix this app.
Some features don't work. Also app crashed while printing resulting in incomplete print and a waste or paper.
The thing doesn't even work. My friend passed away and I've been trying to print pictures out and it's attached and won't even start the process. Money wasted.
Refuses to work without Contacts permission. Ridiculous requirement just to use offline-capable hardware. Can't use the printer until I get a burner phone 🤬
The app can't open, I've tried many times it doesn't work anymore, I can't use my Polaroid :(( Please fix it! The mod is expensive
Motorola Moto Z4 does not recognize printer. When starting the app, it briefly displays the Polaroid logo and immediately shuts down. Last app update was in 2018 and none of the 2020ish reviews (all the same...'does not work') by Z4 owners are addressed by Polaroid. Is Polaroid still in business? Returning printer mod tomorrow. No wonder it was for sale on Amazon for $59.
I am not able to link my Google pictures through my email. This seems to be an issue for a lot of users. Please fix it.
App keeps crashing as soon as I open it. I can't even use the camera anymore.
This app is half assed. Requires contact permission to work, for some reason. Trying to print an existing photo is awful. The photo list is apparently sorted randomly instead of most recent at the top. You can pinch to zoom in or out but that also easily rotates the photo and it's hard to get it back straight. Got through 3 "prints" before the battery was too low on the mod. Takes a long time to charge back up.
