Insta Square Pic Photo Editor

Nice app! I was very surprised. Helps fit longer photos into a square frame for Instagram! Works perfectly! No watermark. There are ads, but they don't pop up and cover the whole screen. They're just off to the side and do not stop you from doing whatever (as in, they don't cover any buttons or pop up and take over the entire screen). It gives really nice results. It fills in empty space with a blurred version of your picture in the background. Doesn't work with videos, only drawback.

Newest update is making it a mission to just fit an image to the ratio you want. It keeps putting my photos in a blurred border, which I then have to painstakingly stretch to the edges to get rid of, and can't always get rid of the border completely because of faulty UX. What happened to the super convenient fit to ratio option the app used to have?! My photos are looking a lot less professional now. Will be trying out other apps and probably uninstalling this as soon as I find a replacement which does what I need it to.

Recent update has completely changed the app for the worse. Although it may look more premium, a lot of the previous options are no longer available. In an effort to maintain consistency throughout my images I will be uninstalling this app and finding a more convenient replacement.

I used the app for thousands of images before. The update has completely ruined the border feature where it would automatically fit any picture to the perfect dimensions of an instagram picture. The update not only disabled that feature but it also replaced that feature with one which is much less user friendly. Please update and go over these issues. The users will thank you for it.

Unfortunately the lastest update destroyed all the benefits this app had over most of the other random apps out there. It used to be awesome... It was quick, easy to use, l liked the borders and backgrounds and I always got great results..It used to be my favorite . Now the former benefits are replaced by useless filters, frames and other nick-nack. For my taste the app is ruined. Looks like I'll will have to find a new one.

Best editor so far. It actually has some cool features. Describing here would take so much space so I'm leaving that on you to find out. So many free features are available, also we can watch ads to unlock sone of them. Cannot believe a free app is actually providing so much. I'm Universe lvl satisfied.

This was the 3rd app I installed today to try and edit around instagrams crop limitations. It's also the only one that worked within seconds! Thanks for actually making it easy and not just saying you do! The other 2 high rated apps were confusing. As soon as I opened the app and hit the camera button my gallery opened I selected a photo and was done.

what a great square app, the frames look great and actually work like they should, the backgrounds are many and awesome also. the only square app I've seen to offer more stickers is blur square but they're text option really lacks where Insquare has an amazing text feature. you cant go wrong with this app, its user friendly and cohesive and a lot of fun to spice up your photos with. many thanks to the developers for putting such a great app out.

Its an amazing app for editing/ posting on instagram after applying some unique filters. The large images will automatically cropped and adjusted according to instagram image posting. But it should be Ads free, because sometimes after editing/finalization, ads are annoying. Overall love the App and highly recommended.

The April 2019 update is awful. Previously, this had been a user-friendly app to share uncropped photos to Instagram, but now the default settings crop the image and add a border, forcing the user to undo alterations that InSquare has made--and to use an unintuitive interface to boot. Will be shopping around for an alternative to this app.

Very intrusive ads. In response to the response: "intrusive" is the key word. it makes the experience unpleasant, and interrupts the work flow. saying you've got less ads then your competitors is a low bar.

it was better before the update. although the new update made the app look nicer, it's now not as ideal as to what it used to be. It was a hell of a lot simpler, actually had much better image save quality, and wasn't tacky with all these different columns to scroll through. the reason as to why Im now going to change app is because they have removed a setting where you were given an option to customise border sizes around an image. now that custom borders are removed I won't use this app.

Other features seem to work well, but I downloaded this app because of good reviews about the nocrop feature for set social media photo ratios. If I zoom in too much, the photo becomes stuck and I cannot zoom out. Tried several times. Hopefully just a bug that can be fixed.

Just wanted to use this to make my images suitable for instagram using the blurred frame feature. Unfortunately it was not blurry enough for my personal taste and there was no way of adjusting it. All the other frames look a bit naff and the features didn't do much for me. Uninstalled pretty much straightaway.

i like the blurred background option, esp. since you can adjust how blurry you want it. unfortunately, resulting image is just really compressed. found a different app that not only has the same convenient feature i mentioned, it's also free.

It wont open/detect photos in certain albums. All ky images in Screenshot album, it wont open them. Even after I moved them to a different album, it still wont allow me to edit them since the app doesnt show them to me when trying to select a photo to edit. REPLY: is dumb for a developer to reply with a question to feedback when we cant reply to their comment. But NO, i cant even open the photo and select your app to edit. Your app does not read any photo in screenshots. Even after its moved.

Love the background options I have when squaring off pics. Was wondering if there's a support option to remove ads entirely, though? 🤔 I only see premium options for a few sticker packs and I've already watched ads to unlock the other free assets. Though they aren't necessarily super obtrusive, the banners can get on my nerves when trying to edit photos..

Always happy with the outcome of my photo edits .. Also happy that i can still edit my photos even when i don't have cell service or internet when I'm in a rural area .. Been using this app for a few years and their upgrades have always made the editing easier and better than before .. Thx for such a helpful app .. Wish it had less adds but i deal with them because the app is worth it ... 😊

Update to my reviews : Sadly, the developers of this app have not responded to my follow- up requests to " FIX " the inability of the glitter sandpaper to load so that I can use them as a background. Note: ALL the other background patterns load AND show up to be able to use. Sorely disappointed that not only have I lost the access to these particular background patterns but the developers continue to ignore my pleas to fix this problem! If this ONE problem were fixed, this app would be a 5 ☆.

You should give me an updated fee free , logo free version for my amazing view. There may be many photo editing apps out there for your social media needs; however-- this one is easy to use and perfect for what I need it for. Thank you. Insta @MichaelPhoeLifts

Do not use for resizing! The compression turns the photo into a low quality image and makes it super pixelated! It's especially bad at 1024px, and even at 2048px it's still noticeable. I will be switching back to NoCrop instead since I've never had the compression issue there.

Works very well. No annoying ads. There are ads that don't interfere with the overall experience, which is how it should be! No pop ups. Crops perfect for Instagram and is very easy to use. Simple and effective 👌

This used to be great until latest update; yes you've added other features, but you have removed ability to make photo stand out with a "shadow effect" I loved this feature and miss it so much. Please put it back!

New filters and add ons👍 very very nice app to edit your pics. some features are just amazing. U won't find them on other free apps. And for which also u must try this app. To developers: please unlock some 'pro' features to free version as well.
