There is a newer version of the Toolkit, but when you fire it up it says it is "Beta" software. That means it isn't considered finished, but is put out for testing. This older one seems to provide more functionality, but be prepared for a less than helpful interface, which when it tries to help seems to be more "in the way" than helpful. Like other Solar PV companies, Enphase makes EXCELLENT hardware for solar PV, but the software side of things is sub par.
App works fine, though it crashes if you put the app in the background for more than 15 seconds or so. A request for Enphase, can you add the ability to turn off the battery storage tab for those of us that don't store energy. No big complaints otherwise.
Worked on my S7 Samsung but want work on my S9! Can someone remove the Network Disconnected pop up in front of the system when it is loaded on the S9 Samsung please. It not disconnected because it is running behind the pop up that says it's disconnected! The disconnect from Network has gone away and toolkit working ok now. it was working behind the Network disconnected but you couldn't do nothing with it.
Still does not work on latest Android, all you get is Disconnect error. When is this going to be fixed? IT IS NOT AT ALL USABLE ON LATEST ANDROID S9. Edit. I have given up on the android toolkit on my s9 - went and installed on an IPAD pro and that is working fine. Gonna leave this at 1 star until they post an update that WORKS.
As others have said, it does not yet work with Android (P)ie, and gives a disconnection error when attempting to connect to an envoy. Hopefully this app will be updated more frequently to resolve issues like this.
The app is not working for Android 9. It is working for other Android versions. It would be beneficial for the installer if you can update your software into new version wich supports in Android 9.
Installed just now on Enphase Customer Service recommendation - but the app is clearly intended for installers only, and not system owners. Even though it's called "installer's toolkit", it should still say in the description that the app cannot be used without an installer's account. The app asks to "Log in to Enlighten" right away. (Probably should say, "Log in to Enlighten Installer account" instead.) Upon entering my credentials , there's an error message, "Authorization Error, Your Enlighten permissions do not allow you to access or update this level of system data". (One star because the app was directly recommended to me, a system owner, in Enphase customer service email - and it's not something I can use.)
I use this for work almost everyday, but you guys really need to fix the syncing problem with the systems, doesn't matter if i have full 4GLTE or on WiFi still wont.
Even with the new update the app still does not work with droid phones. The techs that work for enlighten are just as frustrated when I call in. This has been down for months. It is a joke!
Need help ive used this app for years now i got a new phone and it will not open the app once ive joined the envoys network no matter what i do all permissions allowed everything can anybody help me with this please im so frustrated bc i install solar for a living and any time i have to test i have to use someone elses phone.
absolutely horrible, always crashes and never allows you to sync. I am telling my salespersons to push solaredge.
This app is a slow piece of trash. I feel sorry for the customer service team members that they have to work extra hard to make up for the people that create Enphase software.
Confusing and not easy to use or activate without an expert electrician that never assist you in the last 50 years in AU. You are the most misleading retailer in Qld.
it's not working on my galaxy Note 9, keeps telling me in not connected to the wifi of the envoy!! can some fix this
NOW DEC 2018 Still doesn't work Months later. App still doesn't work with android pie. Feb 2019 still doesn't work. What is wrong with you people?

Seems like you need 2 or 3 different logins to do what a self installer needs it to do. I have requested tech support but seems like the tech just don't know how to fix the problem. Every time I request a report all the inverter output is 0 which is wrong. When I use Enlighten app the inverters output shows correctly. This is frustrating. Update, got a call from a senior tech but no dice, was more worried about his personal schedule, said it would call back a week ago.
