Instant Buttons

I'm absolutely done with this app, I can't even go to the actual soundboard because the ad for the subscription can't be skipped no matter what I do, many times I have to close and re-open the app because there is no X button nor can I skip it with the back button. Until that can be fixed, I will no longer be using the app anymore.

It used to be a free app, now they constantly try to get you for $32 a year subscription. I would have gladly bought the app, but a payment plan like that is ridiculous and completely overblown. Absolute greed and nothing else. Not worth it. 1 star for senseless greed. *EDIT* It actually got worse. The yearly subscription/premium charge is now $40. Want to favorite a sound? Need the yearly subscription. Want to upload your own? Need the subscription. Ads EVERYWHERE. Screw this and screw you.

It used to be great, no longer adds a sound to ringtones and notifications, just freezes. Before you say it-no, its not my phone, I have one of the highest performing phones on the market. Also, the ads are excessive, especially considering the service that you used to provide. Drop about 70% of your ads, revert to the version from the beginning of the decade, and maybe it won't be terrible.

I've used this app for around 3-4 years and it was great for playing quick sound effects with only a bottom banner ad. Now I get a full page ad, followed by a forced full 30 second video ad at every start up. Unfortunately watching 35 seconds of ads for a 3 second sound is absolutely out of the question for me. It takes less time to open up my file manager and play the sound from a folder.

As a sound board it had loads of great sounds for any occasion and reason. I loved it. At first. This app is a trap. I mean it. I had it a short few months, I believe 3, before it hit me with a screen to subscribe to a YEARLY subscription for £31.99. When I said no it refused to connect and let me search for buttons. When I gave up I started using my saved favourites. However, after a few presses it then refused to work AT ALL unless I paid the year long subscription. Not worth it. No deal. Bye

I loved the hell out of this app. Having all those sound effects right there to mess with and use to mess with my friends was awesome. Now? I can't access it at all without forking over 50 dollars for something that was previously completely free. On top of that, the ads are a nightmare, sometimes interrupting the sounds as they're playing, and the connection issues are unacceptable. This once great app has been completely gutted. Do not download!

used to be good, keyword "used". i had this app on all my smartphones, ever since my first one in 2014ish, and it was the best app. fast forward to 2019-2020, and i can no longer search for sounds nor save them, without having to pay for a subscription that costs 44.99 or so. i dont recommend to anyone who doesnt like to pay for soundboards, as it has become a rip-off scam of an app

Had this app for at least 5 years on various platforms, had tons of great sounds, even had the original version on Amazon fire tablet with no user-generated sounds. No updates or anything for so long, I didn't care too much, it was still ok, and ads weren't a bother, it was great, but now I pay 45$ per year, and then tax just to do something I can do for free? Uninstalled the second I found out. Everything is going for subscription based payment, and it's sickening to see so many great apps fall

This app WAS great. Still is if you ONLY take the features into account. This app is no longer worth your time. Now have to pay a subscription of $44.99 per year to favorite any sound at all and convert the button into a widget on your home screen! Like, I get it, it's the best soundboard phone app on the market, but it's not worth that much money. Not even close.

Every time I try to use this app it never works. Can't save a sound, can't assign anything to a ring tone or text tone. And the old tones I used to have before the app started acting up just disappeared forever. Garbage app, and you're forcing people into a $40 subscription? Criminals. If I could give it less than one star I would have.

I give 2 stars because of a few things. The reason it's a low rating is because a recent update has added adverts that play after almost each sound, which is inconvenient if you're trying to line a few up to make some better jokes with it. But I don't give just one star because this app is very good, lots to choose from if you know how to find what you're looking for. I do hope they tone down. the ads or I'll have to look for a new soundboard.

This app was amazing, I used it as a large collection of video game, YouTube sounds, and some anime sounds. Submitted by the public and had a vast amount of different kinds of buttons for my enjoyment or to send them to friends for them to have a laugh or to have some nostalgia. Now, I can't even use it. I get stopped and prevened from using the app unless I pay the $44.99 for a year (after a free 3 days of course.) I've been using this for over 8 years and always have. Thoroughly disappointed.

When I first got this app it was an amazing ad-free no payment app for sounds and ringtones alike. Now, they ask for $49.99USD per year to remove the ads that otherwise pop up on EVERY launch and relaunch of the app and constantly during the usage. Not only that but also as of writing this... if you try to assign a ringtone, share the sound, or edit the sound it will literally soft lock the app and you have to close and re-open it to do anything with it (with or without the subscription).

Once upon a time, this app was great. I found fun sounds. I made some of them alarms and ringtones. I uploaded my own sounds, to share with other people. Then, the app stopped working, literally for months. I kept it, hoping an update would allow my to access the sounds again. When that update came, it blocked me from accessing ANYTHING and demanded an extortional amount of money to do literally anything. But it doesn't cost anything to uninstall, which is what I'll be doing momentarily.

Just like with everyone else, I'm very disappointed with the new mandatory $45 subscription... I used to have this app as a kid, and it was fun to play with them as is was nowadays to remember such sounds. I did create home screen shortcuts where I can play the sounds anytime, so that's something. At the same time, I don't want to lose these by deleting the app itself. I can only hope this resource doesn't get blocked as well...

I had this on every one of my phone's and never ran out of stuff to use for ringtones or just for a laugh in conversations. Then it got thrown in with a fee to access everything so it got uninstalled straight away. I have no issue if the added a small fee for certain features (like creating your own/accessing copyrighted ones if they did that for example) but to be able to do anything with it now you have to pay basically. Really disappointed at that so now hunting for something else

Got this app on my iPad years ago. It was when it was only about a few hundred thousand downloads, probably less. There were only pre made sounds, and it was a fun software to use to make weird noises. New updates came and we had access to many sounds, which I used for things like stop motion videos. Now they expect us to pay for an app, that was always free. I didn't mind the ads personally, but this change has completely screwed everyone who loved this free, nonexclusive app.

This app used to be a very simple and great soundboard app. However, somewhere along the line it started getting an error whenever I searched for a sound, but I could still access my favorites sounds. Then, they started showing ads in the app, which in itself is fine, but they were way too frequent. Now, when you open the app the only option is to pay $45 a year to access the app. It says it's only for ad free, but there is no way to close out of the window and go to the actual app.

Are you serious? This app used to be one of my favourites and now it's full of server issues and it's now not possible to add some of the sounds as the favourites since that new update! I'm very sorry about that! Also there's ads everywhere and it starts to get very annoying! There also seems to be a limit of ringtones to access for free! Please fix it! Also it's totally useless! Sorry!

If I could rate less than 1 star, I would. I have used this app for years, I can't even recall how far back it goes. But I suddenly find it again only be told it needs a $45 annual subscription? For access to buttons? I'd rather have ads, or a delay, or maybe even like a one time payment of $2 at the extreme. But $45 dollars a year? That's outrageous.

Like many others, I loved this app. I used it for applying funny text tones, getting a laugh from people or just simple entertainment. Now that the app contains nonstop ads around every corner and requires a $60 CAD/year membership to do anything, it's just a waste of space. It is upsetting not being able to use this app anymore, it really was good.

Was great, enjoyed the app. But now you want an annual fee to use it. You would have done better to continue with ads, give an ad free option and perhapse lock the audio editor and the ability to upload tones behind a smaller paywall($45 a year is way too much for a sound board, especially when the store is flooded with them). Goodbye, you got too greedy for your own good.

To anyone reading reviews, please dont gst this app, it isnt good anymore, you dont want it. Theres a few other apps almost exactly the same as this. This used to be a great app, now I cant tap on anything, not once, without an ad popping up. Or, you can just spend money on this used-to-be free app, and you can get the exact same thing 3 other soundboard apps have already, free, with zero ads. What a deal!

This app *use to be* the best app for any device where you wanted to freely use any sound you wanted for notifications, ringtones, or whatever. Instead of maintaining a simple, but well loved app they instead allowed it to become clunkier, and harder to use with each update. *Now* they want a subscription fee of $44.99/yr. This is outrageous! Even at it's best it would only be worth a one time $20 fee. Hell, even charging that per a device would be on the edge of it's value but well worth it.

This app has entirely changed. Before, everything was free with just an ad banner at the bottom. Now, Socem jumps into the image and ruins everything. Video ads that can last for 30 seconds and having another on top, subscription for sounds that don't belong to them, and paywalling. DO NOT INSTALL & UNINSTALL IF YOU HAVE! This app is a waste of space

Used to be so great, sharing funny sounds and grabbing user made effects and tones. But now unless you go premium you just simply cannot use this app anymore. I understand that money needs to be made, but now risking losing all those that were once loyal to this app is it really worth it? Probably not. Bring back the old version, where the ads were at the bottom of the screen and they didn't run over the app every 30 seconds then maybe we will all come back and start using it again. Deleting now

Back 10 years ago or so, it would be so exciting when updates came out to see what new sounds were added. Eventually, they switched to a more user-maintained database of sounds and more vulgar sounds were common. Now, they have seemingly given up on the app and are trying to grab as much money as they can...or they are delusional. As others have said, just opening the app up, you are given an ad for their premium version and then an unskippable ad. I cannot even save sounds as ringtones anymore
