Being able to receive payment the next day is very nice. Had issues transferring money to my bank account, it says the request is sent but I never got the money. When I tried to click the "contact support" button, it literally did nothing. That was the old review. Despite contacting support numerous times, I am still unable to transfer funds. The app does not function properly, it does the absolute bare minimum of holding your money. That is it.
Seriously? My device just had a routine update & now Instant won't even open. I tried all of the usual things, restarting my device, uninstalling & reinstalling Instant & it continues to crash "instantly" when I attempt to access Instant. Based on the reviews I've read on your app, this sort of thing is consistent with the issues a lot of people are having. It would seem this app is in dire need of an overhaul. When do you think that I'll be able to access my money? Any ideas?
The app itself is fine. It alerts you when your money is deposited, it keep track of your transactions, and you can easily transfer your money into your account; which is exactly what I do as soon as my money deposits. On another note, I do not trust instant financial as a bank. My account got hacked and it took over a month to get my money back. But the app itself, great!
I've been using the Instant Pay app for about 7 months now. At first, I loved it and was very impressed with how it lets me get part of my pay from working the day before (if I want to)... until the offers weren't being offered much anymore! It's maybe 2 or 3 times a week now. I use it to make sure I can get to and from work but when it doesn't give the offer like it's supposed to it's a financial strain. If I could go back in time I wouldn't use the app! Very disappointed lately!
This app is terrible. I've been having problems accepting the instant pay offer since I got the card. Once I click to accept,it just goes to a blank white page & does nothing. I called the card & text chatted with the app. They keep saying it's a problem on my end. Although I have deleted and reinstalled twice. I've tried 3 separate phones and data, I've used my laptop & wifi & mobile data. ABSOLUTELY nothing, yet it's still my fault somehow🙄
I really like the app. I like that I get my money instantly. The only reason I give 4 starts and not 5 is because it takes 2 days or more to transfer to my bank account. This is where all my bills are paid from and it is an inconvenience when I can't just immediately transfer the money where it needs to go. Also, don't use the instant transfer... It costs money and I tried twice without getting anything done. One time I lost any access to my money for 13 hours! So, yeah, it's a good idea.
It's not perfect, but still gets the job done. A bit pricey for use of their services, but in terms of getting easy access to my pay per shift, the price is worth it. Four stars for the slightly high percentage taken out, as well the amount covered per actual paycheck for early withdrawals. Still would highly recommend for those who like working hard, and need money on a daily basis. Keep in mind, your daily access is about 50 percent, so make sure you have a great hourly rate for best result
I use this app to get paid by my job now. I am a server, who is used to seeing cash every day. I thought this would be the end of my serving days, but I have to say that it is such a delight hearing a notification of my pay daily! I am a bit too lazy to use this and my regular debit card, so it actually is saving me money. I have no complaints! The app is extremely fast at paying us! It really is instant pay.
I hate this app. It crashes all the time when launching and whenever you want to navigate the app to do anything other than check your balance it moves ultra slow and sometimes will just crash entirely. If I could have my tips direct deposit or even tacked onto my check I wouldn't hesitate for a second.
Do not like it. Instant charges me $2.50 to use a atm machine. It is my money so i shouldnt be charged to get it. There is no atm close to me that is free. I already checked for one. My app quit working when they did an update. I have called 4 times and they still can not resolve the problem. All i get is a white page. Instant sucks
As much as I would like to sign up on the app. For some reason it keeps crashing at the selfie portion of the registration. I've been trying for two days now and it keeps crashing at that exact spot.
It's very helpful. The fact that you can pull some money before you get paid is very useful. The interface is also very simple and easy to get the hang of. The amount of money you pull maxes out at Four hours though, but that's okay. I find it very useful.
This app is very useful to anyone who has two jobs or is trying to get on their feet (if used responsibly). There are some occasional bugs and the 10 to 2 time limit to aquire your funds is kinda inconvenient but the customer services are very helpful. I would recommend this app to anyone on the struggle and in need of a steady source of quick cash.
Sometimes when I use my instant card to buy something, it takes a few more dollars out of my account than the transaction. And the transaction is not recorded in my history. It seems like some business use this instant card to rip you off, and when i try to get help and go to the chat section, it has a mind of it's own. No longer able to call them directly.
You guys really need to fix the real time feature of this app. I've been trying to add a different card to transfer my money to, but every time I click add card after putting in the info, it doesn't do anything. It's been doing that since the maintenance work the other day. Another thing I don't like about this app is the $2.50 transfer fee. When I want to transfer my money, I want all of it. Its my hard earned money and this app is taking almost 3 dollars away every time I transfer my money.
I set this up so that I could get past my first week or two after being unemployed for months. Little did I know, it straight up wouldn't work. Every single day I get repeated notifications that a new job was added, but it's the same job. I've worked two shifts since I set up instant, but it doesn't let me request funds. When I contacted support via chat, they repeatedly asked me questions that I already answered (which is really strange since they can just scroll up a few lines to reread my answer) and weren't helping me at all. I just asked them to close my account instead. The agent then asked me if I still worked at the site, and if I was trying to change my card. This had nothing to do with my original issue or with an account closure. When I pointed out that they weren't listening to me and that I wanted to close my account, they closed the chat on me. Now I'm unable to contact anyone via chat. I guess I'm just supposed to never close the account and take charges every 90 days because their service doesn't work.
If I could do 0 stars I would. As a banking company you should have support ready to go instantly.. Everytime I've asked for supports help I don't get a response for 2 to 3 hours and at that point I'm over the whole thing.. app glitching and saying something isn't ready or able to be used. I worked last night and instant says I didn't so I'm not able to get my money, at this point I'm switching my direct deposit to chime. Too much of a headache for something that's supposed to be convenient. ✌🏼
I love getting my tips instantly, every night, right onto a visa debit card that I can use EVERYWHERE! BUT the app always glitches when trying to transfer funds. It's inconvenient that I have to locate an ATM that won't charge fees to withdraw from this account and then go to my bank to deposit the money into my checking account.
The app works really well and serves it purpose as does the card, and there are a lot of free ATM's to pull your money out of and you can spend the card like a debit card, but it doesn't always work for credit card functions such as some online purchases, ride sharing, Redbox, and subscriptions. Also you can only take out increments of $20 from the atm. So if you have $39.99 on the card, you can only take out $20 and the only way to get some of the rest of it, is to find a store with cash back.
The worst and most inconvenient way to manage payment from an Employer. I despise having to use this app and card service. The transaction history is not clear, and customer service is not helpful. Was told to "do the math" when trying to figure out why a transaction is still pending 3 weeks after the date of service. Apparently the funds were returned to my account, however, that is not visible in the transaction history - charge is still 'pending'. Cannot wait to unistall this wretched app.
Always comes in handy when I need the cash right away after a shift I only had 1 issue and called their support team and they fixed the issue for me right away Adrian was awesome and stayed on the phone with me until the issue was solved. App is really simple to use and navigate. Love it ❤️
The real-time transfer in app promises to put funds to your bank within 30 minutes, with a convenience fee of $2.50. I tried to use this option after a paycheck but I have not received any of my money after four days, with Instant app telling me the transfer was successful. I dislike that I still don't know where an entire two weeks of pay is anymore.
The app worked fine for me until a few nights ago. I opened the app and it made me sign in again. Ever since I signed in again the screen is all gray. The app still works when I tap in the places that I need to tap but I can't see them anymore. Please help. Need to be able to see what I'm tapping on!
EVER HEAR THE SAYING TO GOOD TO BE TRUE. GIVE BACK THE CARD AND LEARN HOW TO BUDGET. Everything worked fine for about a month then for some reason my job got deleted and I've been trying to add it back for over a week. I check it at 4am and everything is there, then when it's close to the 10am pay time all my information is gone. ID GIVE IT 0 STARS IF I COULD
Overall it's adequate. Doesn't seem to be charging me extra for stuff. I've had it less than a month. I haven't tried transferring to my bank or withdrawing from cash from an ATM. For buying gas food and groceries it works. Seems to behave like a normal debit card.
Great when pay comes in I got it early by a day or 2 everytime, but when it came to customer service they sucked. Never got someone that was in the U.S. I got someone who was hard to understand. They took forever to actually getting around to help me with any issues when I called and usually told me to replace my card and then wait for an application to send to my email, which took at least 10 to 15 minutes, and they took AT LEAST 2 weeks to get back to me on anything even if it was simple.
With my job its mandatory that i have this. But i cant even get past the first step staying white saying its loading. because i was a manager first with out the card having to log in to pay out drivers. Fully frustrated. I dont know why thy have to keep track of all of our money any way but if they have to it be nice if the app they forced us to use worked right.
I like what the idea is... but getting customer service on the line is a terror and the website and app chats disconnect with you after 30 seconds when you've waited on them to reply in the first place for hours. But once the problems are out the way... it's great
It's nearly impossible to get your money out of it. If your possible employer uses it, I'd just give up. What's the point of working if you can't get your money. The normal transfer doesn't work but paying $2.50 for instant transfer works. If the info was wrong in the account the instant transfer wouldn't work.. it couldn't be a user input problem. Also just using the card doesn't work because it keeps declining even though I have the funds in the account. Also can't find a free ATM near me.
I've had this app for 3 almost 4 yrs and as time goes on it only gets worse and worse. They charge you $5 and out of network fees for ATMs that aren't in the network. The 1-2 day transfers sometimes take a whole extra day. And NOW I get an error pop up box that says that real time transfers aren't possible atm (it's been like this for over a week). I've tried contacting support through their chat system and it sucks beyond all belief!! I've always had to wait 1-2 hrs for service!! Get better!!!
