Misleading! As of this writing the first line of the description says it is a PRO version but after installation a PREMIUM version is offered for a monthly or yearly fee. Doesn't work well on my Samsung S20+ because the flash is too far away from the camera lens. Entering birthdate for training zone calc is cumbersome because in my case I had to scroll through 60+ years of monthly calendars rather than a simple date entry field.
I bought the plus version of this app a few years back. I redownloaded it recently because it supposedly syncs with Google fit and was shocked to find that they had crippled the apps functionality and added a bunch of paid subscription features that no one asked for. Glad I only paid 10 cents for it back in the day.
I had a paid version of this app when it wasn't subscription-based. And now it says I am on some free version and the only way to use it properly is by premium subscription. Wow! Talk about getting greedy. They could have come up with a new app with more features instead of crippling it for earlier paid users! It is useless now. Uninstalling it.
Paid version of the app is still constantly pushing to sign up for a subscription service. This app used to be the paid version with removed ads and features... Absolutely no reason to have this paid version any more, they decided to try and con you out of more money with a subscription service and us who supported the app and paid in the early days are now being charged twice!
It recognised my "pro" app status after this update, however, it wouldn't let me put in my date of birth because the date and month fields are wrongly positioned. In spite of this, I logged in but couldn't get past the pop up that appeared unless I paid more for the privilege! All that for an app that already knows that I'd bought it and that I've been using it since my 1st Android phone, an HTC Legend or, in other words, for a long time. 👎
Shortly after paying and going pro, I started getting adverts to "go premium". A limited time offer with a countdown timer appears every time I use the app. Not really sure what I paid for, probably breach of contract if you looked into it. Stick with the free version
The worst!!! Never gets your reading. You'll be trying for 20 minutes to get your heartrate after a good workout & it will keep thinking & blinking & your heartrate is completely back to normal and it still doesn't get a reading. The MOST BY FAR frustrating app. I've had over a year & only worked maybe 4 times & I workout no less than 4 times a week & I use even when I'm not just to see. Nope. Never works. I paid for the better version, wasted my $. I've had it installed in two phones 👎
Purchased the Pro version sometime back &, I was very happy with the apps performance. Now, the developers have chosen to go down the subscription route which degradated & annoyed it's exist user base. Sorry, I can't recommend an app that annoys a user with stupid subscriptions offers on every use.
New update (March 2021) and now the history is even less convenient to view. They call it "list view" but you can see only one measurement at a time. I guess they really don't want people using the free version, so they make it less and less usable.
Paid version is still full of ads and asks you to sign up for the subscription version every time you open the application. Whats the point of paying when you are still force fed ads? Not worth the money, just use the free version.
When I bought it, it was good. Since then, the developers removed functionalities, and the app nags you into sharing all your data (why do they need to access your contact list for?) and purchasing a "premium" subscription package each and every time you open the app.
Exploitative. Bad. Do not use. Completely ridiculous that a paid, premium version of this app both sells your personal information AND expects to be paid monthly for the privilege. Kindly bugger off with that.
Paid for the pro version of this which was now pointless as they've gone the subscription route, also, doesn't stay synced with Google fit, have to keep reconnecting it every few days.
I paid for the app and now it wants me to pay for subscription. I got it so that it can sync with my google fit however upon connection it says that the app is blocked by google. I want my refund.
Could literally only get it to work once in a week. Bad measuring mechanism and not worth the $2.99 I spent. I also had bought a version of this for an older phone 5-6 years ago and product hasn't improved since.
There are multiple splash screen ads, and every page of the app has banner ads. This is all unacceptable in a paid app.
DISCUSTING amount of Add Spamming even after I paid for App. Every link at the bottom of the page has ads for more things to buy/subscribe. WARNING: The images on this Play page do not show the ad links at the bottom
Had purchased the "pro" version when the app was launched! Now, the developers want me to keep paying them monthly to remove ads. This is totally unfair and should be investigated by Google.
Paid version still has ads and now I can't see me great rate graphs without paying for a subscription service. Removing features after paying is B.S.
It works, I have the Premium subscription for monthly reports. That quit working. Do not subscribe to Premium.
Bought the paid version and it still keeps asking me to upgrade to premium. I uninstalled it and will not use it. A waste of money
Like everyone else is saying. App now constantly nags you to upgrade to a subscription or to rate their app. Horrible!
Not detecting heart rate. Used in past all the time with no problems.
People paid for the plus, and now are being forced to pay for subscription. This is a violation of the original terms. The program has gone downhill compared to what it used to be... Downhill like Mount Everest.
Used to be good, now it's useless. Paid for a pro version sometime back, but now the developers have decided to change the deal, and it's now filled with ads again. Most of the previously accessible functionality crippled behind a subscription. Requires far too many unnecessary permissions (requires access to Contacts for your heart rate?) which makes me suspicious as to what the app is actually doing. I'd avoid this app, as it's not fit for purpose. Uninstalled forever
