I have to amend this as there IS a trick to getting this working that they don't tell you, for those that are like me and wouldn't think of this... You MUST have it in JPG or SINGLE PAGE PDF mode BEFORE you press the wifi button or it will lock up on you and won't work! Do NOT use multi page PDF if you want to turn wifi on! Oh and you have to use wifi direct. Connect it directly as an SSID - this is the name of the scanner. As the product does now function I'd have to change to a 4 star.
Could you please be more sensible and add a multipage scan feature? Right now it's a joke for a device advertised as a book (!) scanner to manually name and save every single scanned page as a JPG... The same goes to a PC version. Two stars only because it works with my old Samsung TabS and Android 6.
I edit my message to tell you that I tear my book to get a proper scan and the image is always distorted. When I tear my book and use ruler the distortion of the image is lessen to 5%. But why there is a black line while I am scanning?
This doesn't work with IRIScan Anywhere 5 WiFi and there is no app for that product. As such, there is no difference between Anywhere 5 and Anywhere 5 WiFi, what are u charging those extra 30$ for?
Cannot get app to connect to the scanner. I can use Chrome and IP address. Not convient.
Not sure why the manufacturer of the Iris Scan Anywhere 5 Wifi recommended this app that I have to spend 3 days of trying and ends up still not working ? Now I can't find it anywhere in wifi.
Not working on Android 9 - mobile is connected but scanner app is nonstop loading
And the iriscan anywhere 5 wifi?
It works well if you follow the instructions. I'm successfully scanning directly from the Iriscan Book 5 Wifi to my phone. However, i agree that the UI/UX can be vastly improved. And also, instead of connecting directly to the device's WIFI SSID, it would be useful to be able to find the device on a local network and connect to it by IP.
