InstaQuote: add text to photos

This app would be perfect if it didn't have the watermark and the pop up ads. So the free part of this app is not so free. I recommend uninstalling this app if you don't want your photos to look like they are owned by the app and if pop up ads are too much for you. But if you don't mind paying the fee to remove the watermark and the ads, then the pro version would be worth purchasing.

I am a premium user. Paid for the top package and used to really enjoy using this app. Then I got an iPhone so emailed Red Cactus to ask for assistance in transferring my membership. No answer. I tried seeking out any other contact information outside of the contact form in the app. Nothing. For two weeks, I tried every three days to get any sort of response for this issue and I still have not heard a word from this developer. After looking around further, there are much better Instagram quote generators and I recommend using them (better looking memes, better fonts, better backgrounds, lower pricing for better value.) Red Cactus obviously does not care about their paying customers.

I recently bought a new phone and in my old one, I had purchased the PRO. I wanted to restore what I had unlocked, however it was still just giving me the free stuff. I contacted the app developer TWICE and no one got back to me. I don't want to pay for it more than once if I can restore purchases.

Downloaded this app, went to use it and saw their water mark all over the place, plus limited ( VERY limited ) access to backdrops and other aspects of the app. Clicked on upgrade to pro - saw there was yet another choice ( download all background themes ) sooo.... once ur upgraded all you do is remove water mark then you have to pay EXTRA for backgrounds. Ontop of that they don't even tell you how much the upgrade OR the FULL unlock is..so ok ur suppose to spend an blind amount? Nope uninstalling!

I am quite unhappy that this app has disappeared from my tablet. It was bad enough that I paid for the full version but it did not extend to my phone. And now the app has disappeared from them both. Can it be restored to the upgrade I paid for? I used it quite often. VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER! 😬😒😑😐😠😡😤😲

The biggest flaw that I can find is that the canvas size is locked to 1:1. So, squares are the only possibility. They need to add the option to choose your image ratio, so that the resulting image can be suited to something other than instagram. For example, Twitter uses a 2:1 ratio for all image previews. Fix that, and this would be a five-star app.

Such a creative way to express yourself with custom backgrounds, colors and text. I love it for posting quotes on IG, Twitter and FB and having the tools to be able to personalize it. I upgraded to unlock pro everything to remove the instaquote tag on the bottom right corner plus had alot of extra backgrounds!

I'm not tech savy, but this app has everything I was looking for to create memes with all kinds of different looks. It has all the fonts, colors, text placement options, etc. You have to pay for advanced options like backgrounds & to not see the instaquote watermark on your meme, but it doesn't cost much and it's worth it.

I used to love this app, but I had to do a factory reset and then eventually a new phone neither time was my pro purchase recognized. I've contacted them via email and I have never heard anything except for the automatic email saying that they received the inquiry and would get back to me. It's been two weeks- nothing. For the record I have a Galaxy S5 & my purchase still shows in my Google Play history.

My Note 3 needed to be replaced so I put the exact SIM why isn't it recognizing my PRO PURCHASE .. CAN SOMEONE HELP PLEASE ...I would like to use it .. that or I will have to call my credit card company and request refund... Please help!

I love this app and the ability to add your own backgrounds. My only gripe is the lack of fonts to choose from. We need a better selection! I would pay for the privilege to use fonts we downloaded, but can you also update the selection for those who may not have money? Also, another suggestion is to have more text manipulation options like adding a shadow (embossing) and tilt rotation. Thank you!

Was using something else but couldn't find one that let me see the whole paragraph and edit as I needed. Also couldn't find one that automatically centered my text for me. This does everything! Was so happy I bought the paid version. I don't pay for anything unless it's absolutely fantastic! Great job devs! Please be careful with future updates, this works perfect and without bugs for the Note 2.

Stop making us buy everything for the pro version, GREEDY, charging for a bkgrnd that's free on google image search, but in app is $3-$5, screw that, or this app is going under by younger more intelligent youth with a different approach to the business model create an app that does everything this one does only better and for free. Sorry but a businessman here, so i see trends, sociology, and the way people use technology, it is reason for my strong opinion, but its a reality check for the developer and also not to mention a huge GAMBLE for the investors and programmers.

I've really enjoyed this app, have used it to create my own words and poetry. They all look great, but some don't lend themselves to my style of writing. Am hoping this is an app that gets updated now and again with new styles.

My only gripe with this fun to use and easy, efficient app which I use for poetry posting to IG is the quality degradation when posting. If you use the share button in Instaquote, quality drops big time. If you save then upload, not as bad but still noticeable. Wish this was fixed or improved.

i unlocked the pro and i didn't feel dissapointed. maybe a lil improvement like a higher resolution or we could choose where to put the author's name (left, center, or right) instead of choosing from default setting that based on template, yeah only some feedbacks for you guys! good job!

FINALLY! Found an app where I can add text on picture, BEST OF ALL, I can write more than one or two or three words! Easy UI & not a ton of memory used. For a FREE app, you cannot get better than this. UPDATE: OKAY, SO IT ISN'T ALL FREE! THEY GOT ME TOO, WITH PRO VERSION, but if are looking to write beautiful quotes on you're own photos/background, for a price, I highly recommend this app. UPDATE 2016; it's great to see that when I 1st used app it was at 1000Downloads & now, look! WTG DEVELOPERS!

Cannot change background anymore from a gallery image. Please fix this. I'll give you 5 stars again.

I use to love it, i had access to all the backgrounds and INSTAQUOTE wasnt on my pics. So fine, i purchased Pro and i be damned, they got me, i no longer have access to the backgrounds. So all i did was pay to take their name off of everything but i still have to buy backgrounds now. Im not happy at all.

I really enjoyed using this to make fun little images with captions. I even upgraded so I could use all the fonts, but now it won't let me use any of my own photos so it's useless to me. Have sadly uninstalled

Nice app but one thing is not good and that is all fonts yes all fonts are not unlock and the fonts are not free its highly expensive so overall nice but only few fonts are available and rest are lock so thts y i'll rate it 4 star...

I really like this app. Just wouldn't mind to be able to use my own pictures to put quotes on. Or more different lettering.

Its a nice app. U can add some more options like allignment of test up n down, vertical n horizal etc etc

I shouldn't have to keep paying for backgrounds and fonts I have already paid for, just because I got a new phone. Furthermore, the app was acting up. So I uninstalled, then reinstalled it. I see I will have to pay a THIRD time to get the backgrounds and fonts. Time to find another app.

Charged me. Had watermark on all images. Upgraded to get rid of the watermark. Still there. Wouldn't save text to pic after upgrade. Waste

But I got a new phone, reinstalled it,and it charged me for pro again. I had paid before already on my old phone.

I contacted them a week ago to reinstate all of my in app purchases. I got an email saying they would get to me immediately and a week later they have not. Poor customer service.
