InstaWeather for Android Wear

Randomly worked on ambient screen. I found there were too many options to choose. Even when selected the digital clock for my GW4 44mm, it showed hands instead. Then, yesterday it decided to do digital clock. And today? No clock. Blanl screen. Then I found out this is an annual type purchase. That put the icing on the cake. Done. Uninstalled. Too bad. It had potential.

I really like the options displays. However I can't see how they will work unless I buy the subscription. Not available in free trial. Which also makes me wish they had smaller subscription periods available. I would pay $1/mth to test it out fully. But $8/yr, to find out you don't like it, or it doesn't work properly is too much for a watch face I may only use 4 or 5 times a year. Very nice design and definitely unique from all the other weather watch faces. Please add smaller subscription times or unlock fully for the 1 month trial 😊

Best weather watch face by far, but can't get steady weather updates and hence have to go to the control screen every 30 minutes and update manually. Hence canceled the paid subscription until this is fixed. Thanks.

Seems good value with a set of nice face design. However not subscribing yet as I notice some lags in waking up the display. Hopefully you can optimize it. This is for gw4.

This was a wonderful app which I've used for years, and I loved the Wear OS integration and the watch faces. But, since the 1/29/2019 update, I still have the watch faces, but they don't have any data. All they give me is the time, no weather data. I've uninstalled the app, and waited until the watch faces disappear from the watch, then reinstalled, and the watch faces come back, but still no data. Since that was the only thing I used the app for, it has become worthless to me. Maybe I'll wait a bit to see if there is an update, but if nothing changes, then I'll remove it for good. UPDATE: Well, a few hours after I left this review, there was another update, and my watch has the weather on it again. So all is good. Thanks...

My favorite watchface, the GRAPHICAL presentation of the weather is very unique, and useful to see the daily trend. Sadly, I am having trouble finding documentation on some of the more advanced aspects of the graphs. Some are fairly self explanatory but others are not. e.g. one is the hourly temperature, the next I think is the "feels like" temperature, etc. I am sure I could get more value out of this watchface if I knew what the features were. Even the web site associated with it is invalid. Need an INSTRUCTION manual.

I've used this app on my WearOS device for years. Does what I need it to do. I upgraded to a new phone recently and had to reset my watch. Reinstalled app, no problems. But now there is no option to show the phone battery on the watch face. I used to have both the watch and phone battery at the top, side by side. Dug through all the options and can't find it. Would be 5 stars if I could get the phone battery percentage back. Aside from that, great app!

Loving the watch face, by far the best I've come across! Still using over 1 year... However 4 stars for lack of moon phase complication.

Good, but not perfect. When using the IW Digital face, sometimes the data for the bar graphs will just cause a garbled mess on the display. What I'd desire is a digital face that's like the IW Analog for the weather part rather than the overwhelming data on the IW Digital. DGMW, sometimes I want to know the full data; but on my watch face I just need time, current/+3/+6 weather and the batteries.

Very good app, but 3 stars off for ridiculous premium price. I would pay a decent amount for a one time subscription for premium features. But unless I had ridiculous wealth, I would not consider paying the outrageous yearly fee. It is crazy to rate such a good app with 2 stars. I would love to upgrade it, but will just stick with the free app instead.

Expensive for what it is. Radar face is jerky and hard to read. Most of the watch faces are overly busy. Seems to have a problem keeping accurate data. There are several free watch faces that have a lot of the same features that actually work well.

Potentially a good app, but the weather animation is backwards. Starts at "Now" and then goes to -15 minutes then -30 minutes etc down to -90 minutes. The problem is that you normally would go from the oldest to the newest radar picture so you can get a sense of how the weather picture is building. This is not normal and should be changed. It is completely counter intuitive and the images are moving opposite the wind indicator.

Not very changeable. For the amount of money paid, this is not a very changeable watch face. Too few options.

3 days ago app will not open on phone. Android 12. Used to work perfect! App is up to date FYI- Fixed via an uninstall / reinstall

I'm leaving a 5 star review because the app deserves it. This is the best weather app/watch face I've found for wear OS. However, I'll be using the free features for as long as they last and won't be upgrading to premium because $40 per year is just simply ludicrous.

Bug fixes seem to have done the trick. 5-Star rating restored! Settings sync to Google would be nice. The most interesting app on my old moto 360 right now--not much more it could probably do, anyway. I like having satellite and radar in the background of my watch whenever I first turn it on along with an hourly temperature forecast graph and other stats. my only wish would be to show the seconds somehow.

Unfortunately also very disappointed. Been using this for months/years. Just upgraded phones from an LG G8 to a OnePlus 9 Pro. Still have my Ticwatch Pro 4GLTE. My phone changed. My watch didn't. App wants to reinstall via play store on the watch, yet now "incompatible with my device" that this was running beautifully on minutes ago. Will change rating if I notice this app comes to life again.

great watch face just wish the app wasn't geared towards premium application purchase. which almost makes it useless for the trial or free; when people are looking for a free application or watch face. knot being forced to buy something you might not like I purchased an application watch face that I despise but I only paid 19 cents for the app because I had a $1.00 credit through the play store.

Renewed super expensive subscription in May, byss weather faces disappeared in September, Byss support says my LG G watch will no longer work with this app. No refund available. Very disappointed. Edit: Not sure what Google has to do with your price and/or the app not working any more, but you be you Byss. Would still like some $$ back for an app that doesn't work for 2/3 of the yr I paid for. Still the best weather app out there, just needs better management.

Works great with my TicWatch 3 Pro GPS. I Love the continuous weather updates and graphics.

Almost $30 recurring price yearly?!? Really? I Don't mind paying for good apps but this is close to thievery, sorry. More and more apps move towards a yearly subscription service. In the end we are all paying 15 or 20 or more. Sorry sir, I won't, even though I liked your watch face

This app/ watch face charges after a certain period of time. But there is no mention of it being a trial based app, or will expire, and eventually requires you to pay. You have to agree to pay before you even get your "free" trail.

it is a great program and I would give it 5 stars except that every once and a while it seems that the phone app decides to change settings ... probably when they want to push their premium features.

The only watch app that is a must for me, but lately finding it tries to update the weather background when not connected to the phone, giving a black background. The only way to resolve this is to resync app on reconnection to the phone and then weather background returns. Is there any way it can be updated to only update on connection and not try when disconnected from phone?
