instax mini Link

It works, mostly, but it has a few annoying habits. It uses its own libraries for image handling, meaning it can't open (for example) images that were backed up with Google Photos and then re-shared. It also keeps private copies of pictures you've printed in a "history" with no option to clear it. You can "delete" individual images—but they don't say clearly whether they're deleting the originals or just their unwanted copy. (It's just the private copy.) The app always zooms in a little bit on your photo, no matter what. They could also do a better job of explaining why they need Location—it's because searching for Bluetooth connections requires it, so there's a good reason, but it's not communicated to people who aren't Android programmers.

Performs very well and I enjoy this app/ device a lot! As reported by other users, the images are under saturated so you need to overcompensate in the app. Adding colour temp correction would be amazing too! Everything else is great Would be cool, if a quick guide was available in app for the mini Link as there are some cool functions that are easy to forget.

Great app. Work just fine on galaxy s20+. Only complaint is the photos being selected to print are cropped too much and cannot frame the picture how i want. Can fuji update this so we are able to frame the photo that is not so cropped?

App works well with no issues. The picture comes out a bit overexposed and the color temperature is on the cooler side, so I always crank up the saturation to correct this and reduce the brightness a bit. Two things I wish the app had: the ability to add the photo date (in Simple Print mode) and warmth/temperature correction. Devs, please add these features and that'd make this app 5/5!

It's a great alternative to an Instax mini camera, the quality isn't as good as using the camera, but it's better in the aspect that you don't have to keep trying retakes if someone blinks, you can pick the perfect picture off your phone and print that. The edits are great and come with cute frames. I've had no issues with connectivity at all. Just bare in mind that the printer itself doesn't last long and needs recharging often, but that's no fault of the app so it still gets 5*

Not able to see number of copies in the app even though there is full cartridge. hence I'm not able to print photos. kindly help to resolve

Connecting to Bluetooth is REALLY difficult. Several times it will not connect.

Worked great until today. Claims other phone is connected when no other phone is connected. Gave me a troubleshoot, but I smashed it into pieces already. Thanks for nothing.

Need more frames... example would be St. Patrick's Day stuff. Just more should be out there for the theory behind the camera, app and photos printed

The app crashes when you go to select a photo to print. Without the app, the camera is just a hunk of plastic. I thought maybe it was having problems because I have too many pictures on my phone (3000+), so I made a file with only four pictures in it hoping that that would solve the problem... it did not. Now I'm at a loss, I really hope they get it working soon.

I love the concept of the printer and the app. However the app keeps crashing. It doesn't load all my photos. I tried uninstalling the app and installing the app again but the same issues are still there. What's the point of purchasing the printer if the app doesn't work.

The app permanently crashing on start. Clearing cache and data did not help😔 Edit: but re-installing the app did help.

The app was working for a bit, but because of some issue with the app I uninstalled it so now I'm attempting to reinstall it again, but now for whatever reason I'm being denied access to the app. So even though I love the idea of this product, because the app is required if you even want to print out any physical copies of your smartphone photos I can't do anything about it. So I'm upset that my Instax Fujifilm Mini Link Printer has once again been turned into an expensive paperweight. Ugh.

Does not connect with Google Photos, only shows photos in your camera role or screen shots saved locally to the phone. Would be nice if this worked the same as the iOS version which ironically provides full functionality to access Google Photos in the cloud.

The app crashes whenever it tries to open photos on my phone (Pixel 3a, Android 10), like when using Simple Mode or Frame Print. This is a required app for a $100 instax printer, but it doesn't really work as advertised :( It seems to work well enough on iOS and Android 9 (had friends try multiple devices).

Simple to use and easy to get nice prints. Haven't experienced any issues with the app or printer. When will the Link app/printer experience come to instax square!?

It works but not grate. I got this app to print photos off of my Nintendo Switch temporarily. The app works, have no problem with it. But some of the photos turn out way to bright even after I darken the photo. Of course the photos arnt going to be top notch but I still wish there was a way to fix this.

I thought this was such a cute idea and such a nice way to print photos I knew I'd want to have around forever. I was able to get 1 picture to print and that was after closing and reopening the app a bunch of times. It doesnt load any of my photos for me to select! I really hope they do an update soon

I was super excited to get my printer but unfortunately this app isn't working. I cannot select a photo without the app crashing. I managed to print one photo but it doesnt work anymore. Im very dissapointed as Ive already opened the pack of polaroid film. I noticed other people had had the same issue and I'm hoping instax has a response or a solution for this asap. Will likely be returning the product if not fixed in the next few days.

I love being able to print my pictures out right away from my phonebut I can't use the borders for the frames unless I am already in the app and set it up beforehand. Which is bothersome because I have to exclusively save or send any picture I want to use to the app because it won't access any pictures already stored on my phone. Other than that I love this app it really is awesome to print out a picture in my hand instantly!

Would be great if we could browse pictures using something other than the app itself, like Google Photos or file browser. Also, it would be great if the photo cropper didn't slingshot back to somewhere you didn't leave it. A better cropper would be great.

This app needs a huge upgrade, doesn't upload all your photos albums and you can't access Instagram or Google photo's. If you share a photo to the app you can't use fun mode. Only have the options to change filter and print. What's the point of having fun mode, if you can't use it when you share the photo to the app.

The app seems to have a hard time reading pictures that are on your phone. Sometimes the pics are there sometimes they aren't you have to keep restarting to try and get the pictures you want to load. App seems freeze a lot when loading pictures.

The app flat out doesn't work. It connects to the printer but it's unable to read the phones storage to print anything. Hugely disappointing. Will not recommend or buy Fujifilm again unless this is fixed quickly. It renders the app as nothing more than a brick.

Camera mode and sketch mode don't work. Takes a black photo and doesn't isolate the text to be used. Can't find a way to report fault to Fuji. Other than that it's pretty good. Struggled to connect the Bluetooth occasionally.
