Really good app, but suffers from problems with syncing with the web version. Other than that, it's great.
The app concept is really good. But still have some bugs: label filtering doesn't seem to work; UX flow for adding labels can also be improved (feels rather clunky now); plaese also add pause session feature. but great work!
Great app, have been using it for a few years, but recently the app has stopped opening. Have tried reinstalling a few times, and have sent an email but have had no luck. Hopefully gets fixed soon as I find this app very handy.
Hi, can we please get rid of the prompt "well done, would you like to review your goals before you exit". This comes up every time i exit a aession and never used to, I don't want to see it please. Excellent app otherwise. I absolutely love it!
Very simple and useful. It's quick and easy to log practise with detail in a format that makes you feel like you're genuinely making progress. Another really good feature that should be added is a timer for sessions, instead of always counting up for zero. I try to practise certain things for a set amount of time, say, 20minutes. As of now I have to time myself outside of the app.
Excellent app. It really helps me pick up where i left off on all the different aspects of musical training. The only thing missing which would make it better is A WIDGET! if there was a floating widget to help log sessions without having to go in and out of the app that would be so much better. Otherwise, great app
Easily the best practice app I've tried, and I've tried quite a few. Solid user interface, simple, but powerful enough to satisfy power users. I particularly like how there are multiple ways to start a session, and the charting of the log. Great support, I reported a minor issue and the developer responded quickly with a resolution.
This app is simple and does what it does most effectively without a clutter of useless features. It's perfect for breaking down practice by instrument, piece/exercise you're practicing, date. It let's me see what pieces I've practiced when and for how long, how my practice has been this week/month, setup some basic goals and also has a little metronome built in for my warmups. Suggestion: I would like to see the metronome remember my last bpm.
Amazing app with many possibilities to come, I am very grateful for discovering such a wonderful app for free. One easy function that can be added to boost the experience is to be able to see the total hours used on each piece. Keep the good work going👍
Most user-friendly practice tracker app I have used. It has an integrated metronome feature already, so I did not need another separate app for metronome. I just hope they have a yearly subscription and not just the monthly subscription for long-term users.
Well done on this app! It is really helping me become more consistent in my practicing especially during the pandemic. I've hit my weekly practice goals for 53 weeks and counting. It's like my musical fitbit. Thank you!
In theory it's great but a huge slog to setup and actually implement into my practice sessions. I find a simple journal (Memorize app) is much easier and simpler to use, plus I actually use it, whereas Instrumentive is pretty bloated and discouraging so I don't feel inclined to use it.
