Insulin Calculator
One unique feature of the application is to provide the math used in the calculation of your dose.
Every time you use the application, it saves the calculated value to a log. The log will display the last 100 entries, providing you with a basic overview of your glucose levels throughout the day.
I wrote this application for my son, who has type-1 diabetes. If you find it of value, please feel free to use it. I welcome user feedback for future enhancements and revisions.

this app is an absolute life saver. We use it multiple times a day for my type 1 diabetic son. My son has 3 different carb ratios, one for each meal. I love that we pre-add that info, and that it does all the math for us. Couldn't ask for an easier way to make this diabetic journey more bearable!
Great tool. For those 1-star reviewers complaining about infinity result/ app not working, YOU HAVE TO SET IT UP FIRST, ONE TIME. No app is going to know an individual's insulin requirements until you the user do the one-time configuration with your insulin:carb ratio & correction factor (aka insulin sensitivity factor). I've used this app during periods when i wasn't using a pump, off & on for a few years, to do my dosing calculations. It works great.
Just want one with a standard pre-set calculation for easy use.. not one I need to program to tell it how to calculate for me specifically, as I'd have to reprogram constantly, as I am a 'brittle' diabetic and NOTHING effects me the same way twice... ever. Thanks for telling me I needed INFINITY insulin.. USELESS APP for me.
The only problem i have is if you are under target it will subtract. I have to type in my target instead of my actual blood sugar number in order for it not to do that. I would rather have my actual number for log reason and to eliminate mistakes.
Good app. Would love if instead of having to put in a subtraction factor, you just enter what your goal BS is. That way app just subtracts goal BS from actual BS.
This is a simple calculator. It only handles a single type of insulin & a single patient. If you take a slow release insulin & a rapid release insulin the calculator will not help you. If you fit the insulin/patient model this calculator supports it probably will help you.
I love it..it really help to manage your carbs and the amount of insulin in take ...I love it..now i know how much insulin to take according to the amoubt of carbs..👍👍👍👍
It does what it says but would be better if it could give a calculation including insulin on board

THE BEST INSULIN TRACKER BY FAR
Don't use.
I was unable to get results from this app I entered known numbers that I use for meal planing. 80 g carbs with a blood glucose of 145,160,200 and got a sideways figure 8. I also tryd numbers from our Canadian system used on my machine I tested a value of 8(which is a 145 south of the border.) And got a error.
Would but spot on but have found when my daughter is at or under target, it under accounts for carbs. Like her range is 100-200. So when I put in a BS under 200because that is her target, it under corrects for carbs.... It's weird. I have double check with therapy I was taught in the hospital and it is right as long as she is over 200.
Configuration menu doesn't work and get nothing but an Infiniti sign no matter what numbers I enter for carbs and current blood sugar
It's ok. However even when selecting no rounding. The app is still rounding. It rounded .29 to .30 which could mean the difference between no insulin and half a unit. For example if the BG is (274 - 200) / correction 250 is .296 it's rounding to .30 this is incorrect. It should stay at .296 for a result of .2
Works well for my needs. I am able to save several carb ratios for different times of the day. I tried similar apps and this is the only one that would let me set up various carb ratio profiles. Setting up correction boluses are a bit confusing. All in all it's a good app.
I like the log feature, it would be nice to be able to edit the time in case someone forgot to add or maybe phone wasn't handy at the moment.
My wife used it for a short time and had no problems. Then she had to remove it temporarily due to storage issues, but was able to eventually reinstall it. Now it doesn't work at all. The answers to every calculation are the same...the infinity sign. So I installed it on my phone instead...with the same result...infinity. Then I installed it on my new Samsung Tab A...same result. If you are going to create a program to help others, check ever so often to see if it can be installed still.
