WHY USE THIS APP?
=================
This app was originally designed to help out a friend who was tired of taking time before every meal to do these insulin to carb calculations by hand. We decided to share it with everyone for FREE. I hope you find this app helpful as a quick & simple way to calculate how much insulin to take with meals.

HOW TO USE THIS APP
===================
It's simple, quick, and convenient:
1. You edit your insulin to carb ratios according to what you and your doctor have determined. These ratios are saved, so you only have to set this up once.
2. You click the drop down to select a meal and enter how many carbs you're eating.
3. You click the calculate button and the app displays how much insulin to take as a rounded and an exact number (for both the injection users and the pump users).

YOUR FEEDBACK IS ENCOURAGED!
=============================
I will continue making updates & improvements to the app, so please let me know if there are additional features you would like to see or you have any other feedback, new ideas, or questions!

PLEASE NOTE:
============
This app is a simple tool used to help you crunch numbers. It is NOT recommending a specific treatment or dosage. The calculations are based entirely on YOUR desired ratios and you can customize them on the "Edit Insulin/Carb Ratios" page.

Well that's why basically. - Sebastiaan

experienced intensive insulin therapy patient here. The formula compared to my current formula for dosing rapid dose doubles my current dosing! I was looking to be able to fine tune the rule of 1800 but this app throws numbers at you without explaining how it got there. Very dangerous
