IntelliCenter

Same as the others...app totally stinks. Rarely connects. Spend precious time confirming the panel is connected to internet (we are hardwire connected with ethernet) because app says it's not connected...of course the panel is connected...the app just stinks. When you are connected it's hit and miss (mostly miss) whether it does what you ask it to do such as changing temperature or light colors. I don't know if Jandy is better but I would look into it if I were buying a new one.

Sooooooo many bugs! Seriously horrible app! Needs updates. Amazing if it works, but does not work well. It's slow. To start it takes a couple minutes. You close it, you have to re-log-in again which takes another couple minutes... annoying. But has potential. Please fix.

why does it take 10 seconds to load the main list? this doesnt happen on iOS. Slow and cumbersome UI and painful to do the most basic things. The website is far better if you are on a desktop, but even that isn't mobile optimized. Can't find my local system, connect via ip works but is limited compared to a remote connection which makes no sense. The history / charting is all over the place and doesnt make any sense.

This app does what it wants, when it wants. You never know when it's connected and is really working and when it's not. Half the time it's not connected but pretends it's adjusting your equipment but really isn't. There's no way that the developers making this have used it in a real world setup with real equipment. And yes, I have solid wifi with a fast local network and fast internet connections.

The app is quite unstable. It does not stay connected to the intellicenter system. I find that I have to kill the app and relaunch it many different times in order to complete various changes to the system. My children are all frustrated with me because the app doesn't work well. Pentair needs to definitely put some effort into this stop. It needs to be stable and remain connected to the system even if you navigate away from the app.

Suboptimal I've spent the past 20 minutes trying to set the lights. It still isn't right. In order to get the spa's actual current temperature it involves several steps. For the money one spends on this "feature" it should work seamlessly. I have gotten free apps that are much higher functioning.

Barely passes. Random inability to login. Doesn't refresh temperature as the bodies heat up, you have to shut down and restart the app if you leave the app for any other reason. I'm an administrator, yet I cannot delete or modify a schedule. Very poorly designed and written app.

Great app. Would be nice if the manual had better tec details on connecting. If you have a slow connection it's because you are logging into the pool through their server. Try using connect to a local pool; this connects to your "local" intranet rather than having to route itself through the internet. If you are using the login in feature to use the intellicenter app be sure to count out to at least 10. The local system we were working on had about a 5 second delay before switching on

This app has the right features and could be made awesome if someone is actually working on it to fix all the bugs. Most glaringly the app loses connection to the intellicenter when the screen locks or you switch apps briefly and then requires manually to log off and back on to regain it. Oftentimes toggles states are not in sync with the intellicenter either, requiring to retoggle them to synchronize. For example the superchlorinate toggle does not turn off after the cycle completes.

Yep, 4 stars. I get that the app does not keep you logged in. They need to fix that. But it seems to work for everything I need it for. There is a bug in that app for 12:00pm times. For whatever reason it thinks that is 12am. Don't schedule anything to start or end between 12 and 1pm. Same issue with the history. 12:00pm is 00:00pm in the app. History section needs some improvement overall.

My phone locking results in me having to force close the app and then reopen it to control my pool. New experience with it all of a sudden failing to see my heater unless I head to the system configuration menu. Then I can access my heater. Ugh, just a really poor experience but at least I can mostly control my equipment?

Too many login and error issues! Like others whom just spent quite a bit on a pool, I am frustrated and confused with why this of all systems was chosen by the pool contractors to be used. I should not have to log in every time I use the app (you also have to log back in if you go from one app back into this one again) and far too often, the program states log in error which can be up to 10 min of trying to log in before it will. Please update and fix your app!

A course on how bad a User Experience can be in an app. I personally know the team that developed the Intellicenter product (hardware and software) from around 2010-2013, failed and tried again in 2014-2016, a very dysfunctional engineering team who struggled to complete the hardware and software. When I finally bought one I knew what to expect and oh man it was bad.

It does everything it's supposed to, let's you control all your equipment and panel. However it is not very usable. Anytime you navigate away from the app it will timeout and you have to log back in. It's a huge pain.

Absolutely terrible app. Half the time I can't even log in. When I do login, way too often I can't connect to the local pool. I've completely lost all ability to connect remotely. Useless app. Look at the ratings and reviews and fix them please

Worked at first even though it was buggy. After a couple weeks it works maybe 10% of the time. Will not connect, frequently crashes, all I see is a spinning wheel icon and disappointment. If it would just connect it would be acceptable, but it does not. Very disappointed.

Brand new control app for my new pool. Allows me to control the water features, pool temp and chlorine levels remotely. Update... Moved from a 5 to a 2. It used to work great, but now it never stays connected even when home. Tried to refresh and nothing. I installed the app and now it won't even download. Guys, fix this. You are a big company not one running out of a garage.....

It's just plain and simple, spent almost $100k on a pool and now I have to deal with this junk system, I connect remotely one time out of 20 times before I have to reset it manually. Whatever it is, someone needs to fix this problem otherwise you will keep getting bad reviews until you're out of business.

Would you please fix and update this thing you call an app? Will not connect remotely after firmware update. User interface is horrendous. Keeps disconnecting if you have the app open. Pretty much useless. For the thousands I spent on this system for my new pool I would expect an app that just WORKS!

I am with those who are new users and find the system to be VERY buggy: sometimes it works and MANY times there are system errors. There is obviously a capacity issue that Pentair needs to fix. When the app works, it is fine but not having access all the time is BAD!!! I also had to swap out connection methods since the Pentair Modem for Wifi also has limited ranges. UPGRADE PENTAIR to go along with your nice non- net equipment.

Great, simple user interface with lots of customizability. Lots of reviews talk about no connection, but the app does a fine job as long you have a solid WIFI OR 4G connection on your phone. Yes, the app will auto-disconnect in ~30 seconds. This is not a TV remote. If your outdoor control panel WIFI can't reach your router, then you either have a router problem or it was never set up right to start with. If Pentair servers are having issues, I'd imagine other pool vendors are having similar congestion. Overall, I don't expect connection perfection and I am quite happy with the controls. I think you will too.

Enough reason to stay away from Pentair altogether. For the price of one Pentair heater, they could develop a Android app that would be far superior to what they have. Maybe the iPhone experience is much better, but the Android app is very frustrating to use, and if heaven forbid your phone screen shut off, you must log out and log back in and wait for a 30-second timeout. This app looks up to Flappy Bird in terms of user experience.

Please update this! We really needed to work for our pool. Spend thousands of dollars and it logs in whenever it wants to constantly have to log out reset. Extremely frustrating look at all the reviews everyone has the same problems. Spend money and fix this

This app is junk. Completely useless. Doesn't work at all. Doesn't show salt, chlorine output, nothing. Rebooted and troubleshooting multiple times, no success. This app should not be used any longer!

This app is worthless. I have 8 pentair pumps all variable speed with the exception of the booster pump. I have 2 filters, a heat pump and a propane heater. I had a larger than normal pool built with a waterfall and lazy river. I can't control both heaters....hell I can't control 1 heater because the app sucks so bad. If you try to change the pump speeds and don't wait a couple second, the screen will jump and you changed the settings on another pump. Totally sucks and they don't care.

Trash! It's 2021 and they can't even make a app that will stay connected. Can't believe pentair would put their name on this. No other option at this point once I've bought into their products. As a contractor that installs several pools a year, I will not be buying or selling another pentair product.

It works 1 out of 5 times. I can't figure out any common reason for why it does or doesn't. Very frustrating. Hey, let me show you my cool pool... hang on, wait, just give me a minute, well, maybe 5 or 10, but really, it's cool, oh well, here, let me just tell you about how cool it is... when the ap works. The "intelli" part of the word is very misleading. Unintellicenter is more like it, cause calling it Dumbcenter just doesn't have the ring to it

Rarely connects this app just loads and loads. Sometimes it connects sometimes it doesn't not sure why? I do use an Android so not sure if that has anything to do with it but looking at the reviews it seems common. I hope they upgrade it asap!

The software is cumbersome, it seems to timeout frequently, more settings for the lights (like more colors, color change speed), the app doesn't allow us to switch between heat and cool. Basically it needs to be coded better.

Great app. Easy to operate all the features and configure all the fabulous features. The only thing I'd like to see is controls that are a little easier to use...maybe a little larger slide buttons?
