Intercom anywhere stopped working after control4 software was upgraded in Feb 2020. The features for answering calls when someone rings the door station stopped working. The Control4 tech has been to my house at least 3 times trying to solve the problem but keeps getting the run around from Control 4 support. What a waste of time and money.
works great, lot of great feature. but on last Pie upgrade it stopped working completely. this is really unacceptable for me. this also controls the gate intercom, which means people can't let me know they are at house, especial if they don't have my phone number
Adequate, not great. Clunky interface and sometimes hard to quickly answer a call from a door station. Definitely needs a notification option of vibrate only with no sound. The only option now is either an audible sound or no notification whatsoever (aka Do Not Disturb)
Unfortunately video is no longer visible from my Samsung galaxy note 10+. It used to work fine. Update :several months have passed. I've upgraded my network to araknis equipment, but the issue has not been resolved by control4 or by my dealer
Intercom Anywhere services keeps going offline whenever my internet resets. And I have to keep calling the dealer to reset it. There should be an option where we do it ourselves, not always depending on someone else just to reset it.
This App lost the video or ability to see anyone at my front door since an update by C4 in early 2020 , tried unnstalling the app and reinstalling and removing my device from the Control 4 approved devices and re adding. Control 4 support dont seem to know and no one attempted to contact me which is most dissappointing after email C4 all the logs.
about time! now they need the option so I can use the intercom feature via the audio speakers in my house. Just like using the control4 touchscreen but this should be available on the cellphone too.
App keeps stopping. I sometimes can answer the door. Cant use unless someone has rung the bell - maybe. Not to mention by the time i get to the app the ringing has stopped which means i cant open the app to see who is/was at the door. Just very unstable.
Connection is very intermittent, when it does connect audio is very poor. Lot of money for a system that does not fully work.
Notifications didnt work for a while, but they finally fixed them and I have updated my star rating.
It only works with pixel 3xl when the app is up. This never happened with pixel 2xl.

Now i know if i need to answer the door, if a package has been delivered. This is great
awesome that custom programming could provide buttons to unlock the door while in the video call
Create id options not available
Been waiting for this feature with my C4 system. Control4 really delivered, and I am glad they took their time doing so in a way that keeps my system and network secure. BRAVO!
Incredible app. From my experience it's been very stable on the Android platform. Quick and responsive, and very handy when someone rings your doorbell even though you are not home. If you have a control4 system with a door station, definitely get this!
I can't get the video to come on on my Android phone. Works fine on my wife's iPhone so I assume it's a problem with the Android app.

There is no video. It’s motion sensor so you can only see the person at your door in real time. Also the notifications don’t open the app so there are multiple steps to see the person and you have to be at your phone at all times and move quickly to actually catch the person at your door! Also, there is a separate app so it’s not integrated with the Control4 app - you need two apps so it doesn’t feel integrated - which is the purpose of a home automation system!! Not as good as Nest or Ring
