・This application will work with Aiphone JO series intercoms with WiFi connectivity.
・This application must have an internet connection available either through WiFi or 3G/4G.
・Registration is necessary for establishing a link between the intercom master station and this application. Please refer to the instructions found within the application.
・This application is provided without charge by Aiphone.
・Internet connection fees and data usage fees must be borne by the user. Please confirm with your internet service provider and/or mobile service provider for details.

Barely works. Extremely slow. Video and audio are unreliable. Have gotten no solutions from any discussions with tech support.
Never works as expected even after a year of use and upgrades to the station.. The app itself needs a major overhaul. It takes TOO long to respond once someone is at the front door. Most of the time the app prompts an error when trying to pick up the call, and when trying to manually use it, it's busy with another operation. We end up running to the panel 90% of the time b/c it just does not work. If anyone is looking for a reliable intercom system, look elsewhere. This is a dissapointment.
To people that want to buy an intercom and use this app: It looks like a beta app. It almost never works correctly. The time to load and open the camera is more than a minute, only if it doesn't throw an error, which is not often. Very bad implementation, UI, interaction and experience. I don't recommend it at all. EDIT 10/23/20: The app is useless. It won't open because "system is in use", even if no one is using it.
Very slow at connecting even when I'm in the same room as the intercom. If someone activates the intercom from the gate and I'm not in the house to answer at the intercom, by the time it rings on my phone and connects to the gate, they have left assuming I'm not home. I have an app for my wifi cameras and have no problem connecting to them fairly quick.
doesn't show any video when not connected on Wi-Fi even 4G is strong. This is the case when sme rings the door or when I want to watch history. also the video can't be shown at home when the screen lids up which is making the whole system useless. A lot of work to be done for the developers! I paid more than 600 € for this so pls fix this...
I spent over $800 to buy an updated Aiphone system with WiFi, but the app is embarrassingly horrible. It usually doesn't work at all, and when it does, it's slow and buggy. I tried the app on both, Android and iPhone, and got the same terrible results. What a shame.
app takes too long to respond/operate when some one rings. they are gone by time it connects.
Constantly get "System is in use, retry later" error messages. It only works every now and then. Very unreliable. Unfortunately I'm already running the latest version of the app and firmware.
* edit* can confirm everything is updated but the isn't a button used to unlock, only a very temperamental slider. Should have an option to make door release a tap instead of a swipe, my elderly grandpa has trouble trying to let people in
I was fairly annoyed when I looked at the reviews so I expected a poorly performing app. So far the app works as expected. It works over the Wi-Fi as well as the cellular network. No complaints. there was an update on December 15th that probably fixed a lot of people's issues. You all should consider updating your application and trying it again. Also there's a firmware update Make sure you update your firmware
Terrible. Mostly doesn't work. Been on the phone to the service people, and they admitted that some mobile brands (Samsung and Oppo were mentioned, but I'm sure there will be more) don't work very well with the app. They took some details and promised to relay to their office in Japan. I won't hold my breath. Highly NOT recommended.
i think it needs alot of work as it's slow to push an connect even on Wi-Fi or mobile network needs a longer ring time on app Tech support at this stage are useless as they have no idea how it works 30/1/22 Aiphone need to update and make it work with mesh network also
Fails to connect to system frequently when door is buzzed, then says it's in use when you try to connect again. After each use I have to restart my phone because the app will not relinquish control of mic, so it won't work with other apps (or even phone calls).
Generally I am happy with this app. I have been able to answer a call at my front door while I am out shopping, and give instructions to the delivery driver. The latest version appears more reliable establishing a connection, good to see improvements being made.
Works great and does everything i want it to do, i have noticed by keeping the firmware up to date has fixed alot of tiny glitches with delay time etc and hopefully they keep improving and fine tuning those areas. Clear picture and audio and opens both my gates and has never failed 👍
Doesn't work with any Samsung phone S10 or later unless you are using wifi. According to my supplier the problem comes from Japan. Seems ridiculous they would make sure it works with latest iPhone but not Samsung (and possibly other android phones).
Slow clunky app that won't work if it's auto updated but the station hasn't. Needs a lot of work to improve it so I can actually answer the door remotely before the caller has given up and left
purchased the JO series with this APP and can't get it to work outside of my local WIFI. my internet coverage is good at '4G' but it keeps getting connection error please fix this app very disappointing and frustrating
Terrible.says System in use, (when it's not.) When mobile, door bell rings,(2 minutes late) looking at changing doors bell to a different brand
My intercom doesn't always engage. I get an error message most of the time. It is very frustrating because I am disabled and can not get to my packages.
OMG worst app and user experience ever. AIPhone should be embarred. Slow hardware and terrible software. I hope prospective buyers see these bad reviews and buy something else. Alternatively, AIPhone you need to lift your game. After using the app and aiphone for a month... Forget it, when someone arrives you don't get notified by the app until 10mins later. Secondly there was an update notice the system wouldn't be available 2hrs Monday as they had maintenance scheduled. During the day!
Poor connection if it connects at all. Mostly does not connect, think mainly with android ( I have Samsung S22). Very unreliable, needs significant improvements. Sad thing is they don't bother fixing the issue. Do not suggest it to anyone.
