Not User Friendly I wanted intercom to be mobile friendly so I could follow up with my clients anywhere, any time, hence I downloaded this app, but it just seems so disappointing. - Dark Mode is alright, but it's so hard to differentiate if you're on note, or conversation with the client. - there's no personal inbox, only mentioned. - glitchy app - lack of features, unlike desktop version. - can't recall messages Please look into this matter, so that it's more mobile friendly. A scam!!! Beware. They sent an email that was easy to miss and buried in it that they will "automatically transition you to our recommended plan if we don't hear from you." One assumes that means a comparable plan. Nope. They added on a ton of expensive add-ons. My monthly cost went up 400%. Total rip off. I talked to another user who said they are known for this.
The app closes immediately after opening - I have just downloaded the new version, and even restarted my phone. But it refuses to open up. Samsung S21 with latest version of Android
I can't sign in. At my first attemp there's no iption to sign up and even when i try to signin with my google, it's not working
The notifications are not on time. They can come in seconds , minutes or even hours later. Poor sync.
F*** YOU GUYS. THERE IS NO REASON I SHOULD REINSTALL THIS CONSTANTLY FOR IT TO WORK. The notification settings seem to decide to stop working through out the year randomly, this time being the second in 2 months. Which was great to come to work to this morning, when I should have been getting notifications all weekend. EDIT: The notifications stopped working an additional 7 times since my post, making it 8 times in 6 months where this app didnt allow me to sufficiently do my job.
Notifications are not synchronized at all. Really not comfortable. When I get a message in the browser, it's still send me a notification to my device. The notifications are not deleted when I click on them. On my iPhone, the app worked perfectly fine. I really hate this app on Android.
Anytime I try to send an image with it, it freezes up and force stops the app, every single time and with every single update.
Please assist! App refuses to open on my device (Huawei Mate 10 Pro) and was working just fine until yesterday. Desperately need this to work. Thanks
Worked fine for a few days then stopped loading conversations, even though I kept getting notifications. I lged and can't log back in again. I'm told to enter a valid email and password :) I can log in fine on the website. Crazy that intercom is such a reputable company yet their app doesn't even work.
Need to add a 'green dot' to show if a contact is online or not. We can't know unless we check what page(s) they are on or seeing. It is visible on the web version but not on the mobile version. PLEASE ADD IT. IT'S VERY IMPORTANT!
The notification system often fails. i work as a online tutor at quipper, and I dont get the instant notification when I am assigned a conversation. I need to refresh it all the time and still dont get the instant notification that I need. My company requires me to respond the chat no longer than 3 minutes.
As a intercom is a multi million dollar company I expected to use a decent mobile app of it but no there is very limited functionality and have been facing notification issues since 1.5 years. I have been using a paid subscription of intercom and this apps really baffles me that intercom has it even and can't they assign a single dev to increase its accessibility.
Notifications do not arrive consistently, sometimes 15 minutes or more. Have talked to support many times about this and they seem to think it is out of their hands but I never have problems with other mobile apps like Slack. Will revise this review when the notifications consistently arrive within 60 seconds.
The notification on the app does not work properly. I get a notification after so long. I hope the team fixes this ASAP. Because getting notification on time is extremely importance for us to be able to answer on time.
App don't have simple features , for example 1) When you copy anything html gets copied on App 2) You can zoom a simple picture which anyone has sent. Can't download it also. It's vey irritating.
Couldn't get past first base. On set up i used the prompt to sign in using google, i have a gmail account so i tried that but that wouldn't work and i was asked for an email and password. I can't sign in if i haven't set up so this app is redundant
Can't search saved articles any more on my pixel 5, search box seems to be off screen. Also when you click to add an article the search box should be auto selected and the keyboard open instead of having to click twice.

Overpriced addons, Resolution Bot is $1000/mo for barely 300 users. Total lure with the initial base price.

Clunky App that is painful to use. Missing a lot of functionality compared to Web. Also: Their support is way below par and it's a shady company when it comes to pricing plans and billing practices. Dress up and put on red lipstick - you might as well look good when they f*** you over.
The functionality is very limited. No conversation search. No quick reply snippets. Notifications if started conversation may come after 30min when customer long gone.
It's pretty bad. Significantly less functionality than in the browser and useless notifications that don't alert on Android 12 unless I wake up my phone or keep it plugged in charging. Even let Samsung remotely control my device to double check everything. It's the only app that does it. Devs aren't keeping up with Android changes. What good is a chat app that is time sensitive, without something as basic and NECESSARY as timely notifications? Zero point. Would not recommend investing in the product at all due to the app. alone, but there are many other reasons.
