The Greek meanings are from the modern and scholarly New Testament Greek-English Lexicon based on Semantic Domains, published by the United Bible Societies. All the Greek meanings are listed in 93 domains or groups of meanings, providing an accurate and precise meaning analysis.
The main editor of this dictionary, Prof Johannes Louw, was also the main translator of the ScriptureDirect Interlinear Translation. He was assisted by Dr Bennie Wolvaardt, Founding President of Veritas College International.

I grew up with the KJV. This is my go-to app verify whether or not the KJV (and thus my understanding) is translated accurately. There are sometimes significant differences! I like the listing of alternative translations of individual words. This app had helped me to become less literal and, I believe, more complete (if not accurate) in my understanding of scriptures and the message that was originally intended by the authors.
It worked great and was helpful in my study until I updated the Android version of my phone. It's stuck on the loading screen. After re-installing the app I got past the loading screen but it cannot load the text. I hope the developers can fix this. Update: App is working perfectly now. Thank you!
Touch an English word and the Greek word is highlighted. Touch again and another small box opens that has meanings and explanations and notes for that individual word and sometimes grouping of words. I use the mobile app. It is NT only. Really enjoy this app actually! Thank you whomever created it and updates it :)
For clarity, you have to go to the website FAQ to find out that it's the Nestle-Aland approach being used. So this is only helpful for those who accept the Alexandrian texts. I do not, but it's important to me to know what people are reading and where precision is needed to help correct misunderstandings that arise from using Alexandrian texts. Nevertheless, this app is a lot of work and it is acknowledged as a respectable effort.
Love it...very useful for studying the word, love the set up, very informative, with foot notes, scripture ref. and dictionary....what I'm not happy with is that you can't make notes nor highlight or bookmarks while studying please add those features...when you close the app the next time you open the app takes you to matthew it doesn't take you to the last viewed verse....
I LOVE this app! I have an undergraduate level knowledge of Greek (took 3 courses) and I this is the best app I have to keep up with my Greek. I use it for personal reading of scripture and while I am listening to someone preach. I would not advice using it as your only knowledge of Greek nor as a full word study. It does have some bias translations occasionally.
It has been very useful to me and have recommended it to many people. However after recent updating of my Android, it refused to open even after reinstalling it!
I've used this app before and it's wonderful! It helped me a lot I'm my Greek class and passed it with an A on Greek 1 and 2. But when I installed it again today it just gets stuck on the logo/title Update: Thank you!

I love it BUT right now, it's stuck in the title screen. Dunno what happened. Uninstalled and reinstalled already but didn't fix the problem.

Sumple to operate and extremely accurate, since it parses and give the appropiate lexeme, according to the semantic domain.

This is the quickest, handiest NT Greek tool. I use it alongside my computer-based tools.
We need a Bible manuscripts such as Codex Vaticanus P45 in clear passages. And in this app, I didnt see which manuscript uses
The app does not work anymore. It gets stuck when you click on the books.

This is an awesome app that is easy to use. Though I have other more robust Bible programs, this one is unique in that it looks at the meaning of the Greek words in context, showing the options of potential meanings. I also like the parsing feature. But, I cannot.open the app in.the last few weeks, perhaps due to an update of my android system. Hopefully, this bug can be fixed soon.
