Intermountain Connect Care

The Intermountain Connect Care app allows you or your child to visit with an Intermountain Healthcare clinician for certain urgent care conditions using your phone or tablet. If you have cold or flu symptoms, sinus or ear pain, sore throat, painful urination, a minor rash or skin issue, upset stomach, or other minor symptoms, use Connect Care 24/7/365 to quickly and conveniently get the care you need from wherever you are – just $49 a visit. Some insurance plans accepted.
Connect Care is a convenient, affordable way to get care from Intermountain clinicians. Our highly-trained, board certified nurse practitioners and physician assistants have many years of experience in urgent care, clinics, and hospitals, and are specially trained to provide care using telehealth. Your doctor will also be able to see the results of that visit in your medical record, and can incorporate it into your overall care. Depending on the issue at hand, the provider can diagnose, suggest follow up, and prescribe medication, when appropriate.

• Chest pain or pressure
• Uncontrolled bleeding
• Sudden or severe pain
• Coughing / vomiting blood
• Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
• Sudden dizziness, weakness, change in vision, slurred speech, numbness, or other neurological changes
• Severe or persistent vomiting or diarrhea
• Changes in mental status, such as confusion
• Assault, physical or sexual abuse, or child abuse

Messaging does not work, even thought I've seen multiple providers it says I have no contacts. I tried to add my insurance details and after I submit it, it just spins and spins searching for details. I also got booted 3 times just as I was being connected to provider. Can not switch to any other app while waiting for provider.

Non functional. I go through all the steps and when I'm ready to submit my info so I can talk to the provider, it spins and thinks for a minute and just goes back to same screen with no errors so I can't actually get a hold of anyone.

The app on Android keeps randomly popping up and opening with no way to disable that from happening. It pops up and opens while on Twitter and various game apps during play. Very annoying.

Huge waste of time and effort... App is terrible, doesn't let you proceed past some screens even when you have entered all info correctly and it worked before... when it does work the only answer I have ever received is we can't help you you should go see a doctor in person... Keep in mind that is for a standard cold or flu call for kids not for some crazy issue... And they want to bill people for this service...??

This app is impressively user friendly and surprisingly easy to navigate. It took only seconds to get logged in and set up for my very first video chat appointment. I'm also pretty impressed with the overall quality of the audio & video. I didn't encounter not one issue, delay or any cause to roll my eyes throughout the whole 75 minute call. Pretty Sweet!

It constantly kicks me out, like, constantly. It's highly annoying and usually it wouldn't bug me but the fact it tells me my login info is wrong when I know dang well its not. I have it written down like come tf on man. Don't get this app if you actually need information because you'll never get it.

The PA I saw was great, but the app seemed to have issues working properly. I could see my doctor, and I could see my video was being captured by my device, but he had trouble seeing me multiple times during the visit. I know my wifi signal is strong because I used it to work from home today. Not sure what the problem was. However, I did really, really appreciate not having to wait in a doctor's office during COVID-19. I'll continue to use the service again and see if the app works next time.

Probably the easiest and most comfortable medical inquiry experience I have had. Where has this functionality been my whole life?! :) My only frustration was having to set up my profile during the stress of having a medical need. I highly suggest users create their profile at a calm moment before having to actually use the app for a medical need.

This app is garbage and so is the desktop version. I've been waiting an hour and a half and it just keeps glitching and kicking me out of my spot in line. It gave the option to connect with the provider by phone call instead, so I hit that option and still nothing. No call. No video appointment. Nothing. Guess I'll get dressed and have my hubby take me to the instacare instead. I better not get billed for this.

If I could give this app, the website and the customer service a negative star I would. It was so confusing and difficult to use I ended up having to call customer service for help even after going on the website to look for instructions. When I called customer service, the representative was negative and rude and lacked motivation to even want to help. On top of everything, SHE FLIPPIN HUNG UP ON ME!

Useless. They won't help you with anything worse than allergies or sprains. The wait time is in hours. Then they charge you $70. You are better off doing a telavisit with your own doctor. My insurance used to provide access to "Healthiest You". That app doesn't charge you anything. With that app you "schedule" a visit then they call you when they are ready. I really miss having access to the Healthiest You doctors.

The app ran very smoothly. Here are 2 pieces of feedback: 1) While in the waiting room the app should have a pane that shows the patient what their video looks like so they can make sure they are ok with what is going to be seen by the provider. 2) I have a 300 mb internet connection yet my doctor's feed was coming through low res. It may be a problem with the app or the facility may need faster internet, either one would be worth fixing in order to make the experience feel premium.

It's definitely hard not to have personal contact with your doctor but for the situation at hand overall it's a pretty good experience I just feel that in situations where you need your doctor person to person or face to face in a environment you're comfortable with is better than sitting before a camera but overall is a pretty good experience

I have had many telehealth appointments and always something happens with the connection or the volume of the voice. It's very difficult when you are trying to do psychotherapy about trauma and halfway through the connection dies or you can't hear your provider anymore. This needs lots of work!

Horrible. Constantly getting kicked out, unable to connect with provider, horrible connection and lag.. taken over 30 minutes to attempt to add a child to my profile. If I absolutely didn't have to use this program I MOST DEFINITELY WOULDN'T!

Terrible. 1. Never has one of my kid's result. 2. My wife can see results for some kids and I can't, we are bot linked to all 4 kids. 3. Single sign on is atrocious. 4. Once logged in, half the time it just spins and never loads results. It took 20 minutes from text message to loading of my results, and yes, I had the correct password stored on LastPass, it was just spinning post login and taking forever.

The app itself is well made, but my experience made me ask myself "What's the point?". I have a sore throat and my ears have been bothering me for awhile so I finally decide to give this thing a shot. There is an option within the app that specifically states sore throat/ear problems. I get in touch with the provider and they tell me that both of those things require an in person evaluation. This is the most minor thing a person could have. If you can't diagnose it on the app what's the point?

The absolute best doctors visit I have ever had. Easy to set up, easy to schedule, easy to chat and explain my symptoms. Instead of the minimum 1 Hr. Round trip (realistically 2 Hr.) To the office to be told the same thing from login to logout was 12 minutes! You do not have to be tech savvy to use this it walks you right through the steps and don't worry if you don't have a computer or laptop you can use your smart phone . Rest assured it's an absolute delightful experience.
