Internet Radio Player
It is a free, open source app published under the MIT license.

Features:
• Search from the UberStations directory with more than 30000 live radio stations across the world.
• Add a station via a playlist or audio stream URI link.
• Display information about the broadcast and the current playing track if the stream provides such information.
• Add a radio station in your favorite list to quickly find in future.
• Find stations that have recently played in the History tab.
• Add a shortcut on your home screen for quick access to the station.
• Control playback and navigation using the headset or notification on the lock screen or the notification panel.
• Change the order of stations or sort them into groups for easier navigation using the Previous/Next buttons.
• Use the equalizer to adjust the sound. Each station or group can be assigned its own equalizer preset.
• Station recording feature. Records are displayed on the favorites screen.
• Supports audio encoded in MP3, AAC, AAC+, Ogg Vorbis, Opus.
• M3U, M3U8, RAM or PLS playlist file extensions are supported.
Important notice:
The recording feature is currently in beta. The record size limit is 50 MB. Records are stored in /Android/data/io.github.vladimirmi.internetradioplayer/files/Records

Closing settings during playback freezes the UI but the streaming functionality has no ad-free competition. URL supports port notation, buffer length can be configured, and it reconnects automatically upon losing signal (very useful while driving). Works great as a player for MPD.
So pleased I found this app. Without doubt the best internet radio player I've come across. Can't praise it enough for appearance, functionality and just downright simplicity. Huge congratulations to the developer. For info ... Working faultlessly on a Huawei tablet with Android 9.
This is my favorite internet radio app, for it is stable and has no ads in the audio. The latest update resolved all issues. Great job.
I give 3 stars because is partly my fault. Is not optimized for my tablet and I wanted to give it a chance (but, why isn't optimized? come on). Anyway spinning screens are not my thing 😛. I will come back (deep voice here). Good luck.
Works reliably. Has many stations listed and allows adding of other playlist and stream URLs. Open source, with no ads or purchases.
good but issues. need way to clear current station. need way to parse searches, not all hits shown. need to just search all possible stations like a real radio tuner.
Finally I found it - a tool that just plays channels I added! With search, favs, no ads, and lightweight! Thanks for the app!
Wonderful! This dev rocks! Best app for Uber stations with no ad spamming, no IAP trash. Replaced 5 individual apps, with many more stations to discover. 😎

it doesnt allow any stations . nit sure what that is all about . not one station . just blank .
Search does not work at all, tried searching for a few of my fav stations, and no results came back

I like this Radio Player. Only stations I want to see. Simple configurable station list. Nothing but necessary functions.
This used to be a nice, simple stream player. Unfortunately the latest version crashes a lot (sometimes several times in an hour), and the settings screen often freezes. That can't be a problem with the streams, as another app plays them fine. Also, the forced portrait mode is terrible on tablets. It should be optional. If those are fixed, I'm willing to try again.
