Alarm icon appeared for no reason using this app. This has happened on two different tablets running very different Android versions, 7 and 11. This has been reported by many others users, but clearly still happening. Uninstalling the app.
Tried a few speed checkers and this is the best. Many others are full of ads but this one just does the job, quickly and easily.
Quick and easy to use. Gives good assessment of internet and wi-fi speeds. I find this app very convenient and a useful tool. This app continues to work swiftly and effectively providing a useful history of broadband speed. My 'go to' app for reliable assessment of internet and wi-fi. Still fit for purpose and doing well.
I used several wifi speed test apps & mostly received results way below actual download/upload speeds. However with this app, I received realistic speed readings.
Since the last update, the app star scheduling an alarm every 30minutes. I could see the hour of the next alarm on the screen but it would not ring, but still messed with the not disturb schedules. My do not disturbed was terminated at most half an hour it started, it was driving me mad. Find out this app was the culprit using adb shell dumpsys alarm. Uninstalled it in the moment. Really bad quality.
Adverts advertz and advertz.... no ability to save speed test results...... waste of....
Not Happy failing to do the job no where near actual speeds
In 2022 it now has a serious flaw - be warned! As was also reported by a reviewer on 11/02/2022, the app has been proven to cause a false indication on the Android system bar. Took me hours to find the cause, and glad that I am not alone in suffering this.
Great app when testing addresses on property search
I'm not a wizard at electronics, but after installing a booster, my phone, tablet and computer keep saying "no internet" so necessitating reset. Couldn't detect any improvement. Plan to disconnect. Not the fault of the Speed appreciate, but they don't offer a close base.
Not worth paying for. This app has become unreliable giving readings that are a quarter of the speed shown on four other similar apps. The server list is very limited, the nearest one to me is over 2,000km away. 26/3/21 - It is now even worse, the nearest server to me is almost 4,000km away. Complete waste of time and money.
Great independent app. Certainly shows up Sky, I repeatedly check my speed with Sky's own checker and get 40mbps repeatedly. Speed checker shows the speed is normally in the range 15 to 30. I've been using the app for some years and trust the results
I've used the web-based version for years and always found it reliable and accurate. This app is no different, I also like that it checks wifi speed too as it helps with the placement of access points etc.
Seems to work well, ads aren't too intrusive so far. I always used the web based version up until now and found it accurate and reliable, so I thought I'd use the app.
Simple+ accurate! Tested against 4 other high rated apps and it right on. You also can change the server, which makes for a trurer more accurate signal. Just one person's opinion thanks and well done!!!
It has helped me out to understand my Wi-Fi speed than I ever have before. I've new to using laptops and Wi-Fi. So, with this app and my Wi-Fi app I am able to get my Wi-Fi health right were I need it to be to be able to creat my photos, upload them onto my clothing/phone and laptop accessories just in time for sale. Thank you Internet and Wi-Fi Speed Test!!!!
this is a good App. clear display. slightly misleading that it shows WiFi throughput and not connection speed, which is what most folk wand to check. also reporting wrong ISP.
Works very good and pretty accurate.
Had a problem with my internet speed got the app then contact service provider and they confirmed the speed slow. I found the app to accurate to .2mbps. Great app!
Used for some time. Demonstrates poor wi fi delivery and contrast to ethernet speeds. Local network speed is also shown and history of checks is valuable.
Have used PC version for years. Always reliable and respected by provider. Installed this version recently. Just as good. Love test of local wi-fi to router speed.
Wifi-tests don't get saved in Test results
How can you say I have 45mbps download when the same device is showing 2mbps!? Must be in cahoots with the telephone companies to drive sales and lie about the speeds as tested with other devices also so cannot say its my device! Do not trust this app its useless
I have used this app numerous times to check my broadband speed & it is always reliable. Very pleased with it.
(EDIT: 12th Apr 2022) After yet ANOTHER update, I STILL CANNOT select the check box to test WiFi network, ONLY Internet. Worked fine on my old S4, but not on my S8, PLEASE FIX IT. Many Thanks. PS. ALL android 9 updates up to last in April 2021.-----(Orig: 25th Feb 2021): App always thinks I'm using MOBILE DATA for INTERNET test when, in fact, I'm using WI-FI, and, therefore, it won't let me check the WI-FI box to do a WI-FI test. PLEASE FIX IT!! Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950F) with Android 9 (Pie).
