Once you programmed a timer, you can save it, name it, duplicate it. You can also go to edit and access the advanced settings, allowing you to set different intervals... (You can even pick a colour for each, which is great to visually know where you are at in your training). Just exactly what I was looking for.
Such a versatile timer - I use this during my stretch routine and it does the job. Although simple, little details like different coloured background and warning beeps between interval changes are very useful. It would be perfect if we could adjust the number of sets while the timer is going, instead of having to wait till the last set ends and restarting the series again. As said in another review, being able to have favorite settings saved would also be great plus. Thanks for making this app!
Malfunctioning. It used to work great but now it's constantly malfunctioning. I have it set to 5 minutes of work and 1 minute of rest but the alarms go off at about 3:30 and 4:30 into the work phase. I have cleared all preset settings I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and I can no longer use it like this.
This app is almost perfect. It's easy to use and very customizable. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't have an option to skip ahead or repeat intervals. I would give this 5/5 if skipping or repeating intervals were possible. EDIT: An option to skip/repeat has been added! 5/5!
Does not get more elegantly functional than this sweet little Interval Timer. I use it for prowler pushes and drags. Like ... even though I now absolutely loathe the app's capacity to remind me repeatedly my rest period is up, and I constantly long for the sweet release of suddenly losing consciousness and having a nice long unplanned lie down - I can't blame the app for that!
Just a brilliant, simple timer app. I use it for controlled breathing exercises. It could just as easily be used for circuit training or, well, anything. You set times, intervals, rests etc yourself, to your requirements.
Exactly as described. Works perfectly. I can create workouts and save them, works while I'm listening to Spotify too. Used it for several months and I have not had a single issue with it. And best of all.... It's absolutely free.
Update: the developers actually included the feature I asked for below in the latest update! Now it's perfect. . I love this app, it has just what I need without a lot of extra stuff I don't want. Only thing it's missing is a way to skip forward so I can do a shortened version of my normal routine.
Love it! My workouts are so much more structured now, lots of ways to create your own intervals, only thing I wish it would show how many sets are left all together in the advanced interval timers as rn it only shows the amount of rounds left in one set
I do not like the concept of registration to save preset, because my email is already flood with interesting ads, and I do not want anymore of those. Edit: changed to five stars. I am happy with the app now.
Simple and efficient. It would be nice if you guys could add the total minutes of the workout as you choose your sets and intervals. (Edit) It's been added awesome!! Thanks for the good work!
A really nice, simple interval timer for HIIT workouts. 4 stars not 5 because you can't assign specific exercises to the 'work' phases and it occasionally stops working when toggling between apps e.g. to play music.
App just simply freezes when reaching zero on the first set of a 4 set 45 minute duration session, does not automatically go to "rest" and resume the next set...I've deleted and reinstalled but has the same problem.
So I was looking for an interval timer as I do the running training interval method. This is by far my favorite internal timer. The beeps aren't obnoxious. It's color coded so if you forget whether to rest or work you can quickly tell. Highly recommend
I use this app frequently- for workout, yoga and breathework. It's very easy to customize for exactly what you need. I especially love that the voice actually reads what I write for each segment.
Great app. I can set the timer and rest intervals to suit whatever exercises I am doing. Easy to save a variety of different settings for each.
This is a great, user-friendly app that is easily customised to suit your own workouts. I tried others, but this one is simple, clean and functional.
It's a great program. I can save time intervals for frequent workouts and a can I can keep going without having to reset it watch a clock.
Clean, easy to program, works in the background, and I can see the time in the notification bar. Settings are very flexible. Perfect!
This is a perfect, simple timer. I use it for my daily core exercises. Color, voice and sound signals make it clean and crisp.
Does what you need. Battery saver options off, it's 100% reliable. Adverts have not got in the way of the function
Easy to use, operates in the background of your workout and music. some more options in alternative break times and workout times instead of only 1 v 1 would be great
Great work out timer. Only improvement I can think of would be if during the workout section , you could set it to beep every 20 seconds or what ever you need, would be good for HIIT training
Great, many features - only problem - doesn't count down correct, if I choose 10 sets, it still shows 10 left after first set.
Best timer app for the home workout . It allows you to set your workout time and rest time and no. of laps which is great.
So far so good. Basic interval timer with no bells or whistles which is exactly what I was looking for and I can save sets. I like it a lot so far.
A good and simple app that does what it says it does. I would recommend buying the professional Edition to avoid the terrible ads
Awesome app, just what I was looking for. Very simple and easy to use, ideal for custom workout plans.
This is exactly what I was looking for. I'd ask for a walking Speed tracker as well.... Preferably with a vibrate alarm when you are falling below a certain speed.
This is a great app. Simple and efficient. I like it. However I'd like to see the following improvement: 1) The last present I used should be by default the main preset at the top of the app. Even after closing and reopening the app. 2) A restart button if for some reason I want to restart a working/resting set instead of exiting and choose again your preset. Otherwise great work guys..
