The app is not functional. Apparently you have to upload some document to get an account, but the app just says to wait until the application is processed. Customer service takes 10 days to respond. The app went live before it was fully tested. Don't waste your time with it until it is fixed. I uploaded the requested documents over a month ago. Invstr has not created the account or given any indication of when they will do so. Their suggestion to contact support is a joke since support does not respond. Once again, this app went live before it was adequately tested. Don't waste your time with it.
well the honeymoon is over.. Had a feeling things were too good to be true. first how ridiculous you have a new players league and can't even give out a booster pack for winning the darn thing. 10k+ accounts and nothing? Then I try to sign up for Invstr + and can't even get past the part you enter a phone number. Am told I had tried to set one up before under an old number but same email. highly doubtful but, even if so I've asked to fix and no help. So the one I did qualify can't even use.
Extremely buggy software when capturing documents. You can't tell what you are capturing - there is a rectangle you are supposed to fit your document in, but then when you see the result it is cropped/cut so there is definitely some processing that happens and that you have no control of. It makes applying for an account very time consuming unless you are willing to send the same document pictures via an email. Let me upload an existing image from the app instead of forcing me to use the camera!
When I first began I really was just messing around. A few months later I actually started learning something through their awesome education technique! Really makes learning everything easier especially for a beginner!!! If you are brand new to trading and want a fun yet solid way to learn?? I HIGHLY recommend this app. It is encouraging, informative, competitive, and thoroughly easy to use. And when you have learned enough to feel comfortable you can open a live account!!!!
I was interested in using Invstr to supplement my other investing platforms, but after 2 weeks of terrible communication and complete failure on the platform's side to setup my account, I'm throwing in the towel. If you have any of your credit reports either frozen or secured, don't even bother. Invstr has failed to respond to emails and in-platform messages requesting information. I had high hopes for using this service, but they failed pretty epicly.
Love the support!! Love the app!! I love everything about it. Its become part of my daily routine to learn and also interact with the other players. If I could give 10 stars I'd be giving 20. Love it love it love it. Like it's changed my life. 💯💯💯
Buggy app, and plaid doesnt work properly through their connection..but they have responsive customer service,.. if you can find the link to get to them...app needs a lot of work y'all but there is a potentially great platform here.
I really wanted to try Invstr+, but I can't even complete the setup! I installed on my phone, but since the front camera doesn't work, I can't take a selfie and complete the process. No problem, I though, I'll try my Kindle Fire. Nope - not a supported device. OK, I'll try my old phone. The app installed, the selfie worked, but as soon as I tried to take a pic of an ID document with the back camera, the app crashed and force closed. I tried my next older phone, but it's also not supported. Can't install it in the Android side of a Chromebook. Can't do it from a browser. No email alternative, as far as I can tell, either. An in-app support request appears to have been ignored. It's like they don't WANT my money...
I waited 3 weeks to be verified. Still nothing. I've been verified on three other apps. I'm uninstalling and moving on.
Worst app/service I've ever used. Don't invest using CashApp with this app. I lost $100 this way, and customer service wouldn't del with the problem and sent me to CashApp. I'm closing my account!
Great app to learn but... It seems it is a little buggy. Many times when trying to buy or sell a stock, the window opens on a different stock. Now I've had issues with the app telling me I already hold a specific assets when trying to buy it, when I don't. It's as if the links in their database are not properly implemented, and link of stock X is associated with information from stock Y.
I changed cell numbers and can no longer get log in because they send a code to my old number. It is absolutely ridiculous that there is no way to speak to someone and get this issue fixed. The only way to contact support is through email, which is outrageous when I can't even tell what my balance is because they don't even have an automated system to help with these types of issues.
Tried several different investing apps thru promotional offers on Swagbucks. INVSTR is the cream of the crop and hands down my favorite out of all the investment apps I've tried. I'm a beginner when it comes to investing and the other apps were intimidating and not user friendly. INVSTR is easy to use and is a great tool for learning how to be a better investor. I closed my accounts with the other apps and will be moving everything to this platform.
Can't even use the app my investr account has had an application in progress for over 2 months now it seems only can use fantasy not really enjoying this experience at all
App was the best app I ever used, was easy to use, unlike other apps I used. However, today I woke up to the app being super glitchy, and all my stocks saying "+0.00", hopefully this will be resolved. Giving it 2 stars because if I had used Invstr+ and this happened I would be super unhappy & worried about where my money is. Glad I didn't invest any money with Invstr+ and only with fantasy finance.
So i tried to sign up for it anand i enjoyed learning but now its been a month and i still dont have a real acct. I was looking foward to having an acct but since i cant find if im approved or denied and it has tons of tech issues.
How annoying that you have to sign in again every time your screen locks or you change windows. Should be commission free for the level of aggravation with this app.
This app constantly makes me re-login and receive a text code even if I just put my phone down for 30 seconds. Extremely convenient, just like everything about this app. Edit: I've transferred money over a week ago, it's still not there and cannot access customer support. They stole money from me and I cannot get it back. I will be contacting the SEC and DOJ with a complaint.
Not using this app at all. Only because of the fact I can't just link a card or account to send funds through. Even after linking my bank account I can only send funds to some random account and routing number. Count me out. Thanks but no thanks. If only there was an option for zero stars......
I like the fantasy investing portfolio. Other than that the app needs some work. Took me 20 mins and about 10 tries to sell the 2 positions I was holding. Kept getting a "Internet to slow" notification. Did a speed check to see if it was that and I'm pulling 450mbs on my phone. Not slow at all. Finally got the positions sold and tried to pull my money out and the app tells me I have to wait 30 days to pull my reward. I deposited 100, got 30 for sign-up and I'm trying to withdraw 80... SHADY!
This app is extremely buggy plus it just takes way to long 6 business days to add funds I don't even know how long to withdraw funds but I would not suggest this app
After going through all the hassle and requirements to create an account including providing my social, DOB, ID picture front and back, as well as a selfie, my bank account keeps getting rejected. I'm trying to fund the account I just created and it keeps saying that my bank account is rejected. Never had an issue like this with any other app and I have used the same Plaid service before.
Max Frustration with something as simple as creating a 8 Character password. Directions say make a unique 8 Character password with uppercase, lowercase and a number and i have tried over 250 different combinations and it says the password is too weak cannot complete til LATER?? I am AVOIDING DUMB sh×t as I have had more than a fair share of it so i am deleting. Otherwise the reason is the incentives that i would receive from Adgem if I completed the sign up and don"t need a Cheap Poor Broker.
Funds don't credit timely. Customer service response is slow. Gamefied app design.
This is the app I have been looking for. Before today I had been investing in the dark. It seems like Invstr has given me an awesome pair of new shades to wear. Now I can make educational investments. I love crypto but the Tech industry looks like a big money maker in 2022. With this app I can invest in both. I am getting my 2 older sons to get the app so they can also learn and make some money for dear old Dad. Lol. I wish I could have given 10 stars. Thanks Invstr.
Yeah other investment apps say the same thing but they work faster than you. If you can take my money today I don't see why I can't use my money within a business day. Thank you for your automated response. I will be using other apps.
I was sent a recommendation to try the app via Upromise. It seemed cool and I figured I'd try it out and add to what I currently use for investments. You have to apply to use it and my application stayed in "review" status for over 24 hours, which I found odd. I emailed them to withdraw application and delete data. They confirmed they did, but my information is still in the app. Oh and yes, the application has been under review for several weeks now still. I don't recommend.
