Never got to connect to camera, so kinda defeats the purpose of the app. Worked decent up to that point I suppose, credit where it's due.
the app isn't so bad, its the camera that is problematic. if you just got it, take it back. it will work for a few days, then error. and will not work for months at a time. It wont comnect to cloud server and won't work if it can't. Not worth the money and the cost of monthly storage fees.
Be sure you down loaded the right app for your camera! And unless you pay for service you will only be able to watch set amount of videos the rest won't be available.. If you don't want to pay for service check out the Samsung smart cam they work well plus they allow full access to your videos without having to pay for service because it records on a sd Card You can access the card on your phone through Wi-Fi no matter where you are. The ring is good to but then again you must pay for their service. most importantly if you have phone is make sure the app you downed supports your particular camera because there's more than one app. I've had my camera for 4 years of so and use this app so newer cameras probably.would use a different one . I'm assuming?
I have used the Ion Home Camera for about 4 years. Even used in court when caught a burglary. But in the past year the wifi goes in and out. trying now to move the camera and it will not connect to the internet. I've uninstalled the app when reinstall says the app is only supported on older android versions. So disappointed!
Camera might be great, or might not, I don't know since I could not get it to work. no matter what I tried, it would not connect to my network. I did the firmware upgrade, but that did not help. I will probably end up returning it if I can't get it to work tonight. Also could not find any proper trouble shooting online. Website was not much help, and google does not return any helpful results. Either no one else has had the same issues, or this camera must not be very popular.
app crashes all the time and the live feed is e xtremely unreliable. such a shame bcuz cams are awesome. i wish the could fix the damn bugs in the app
please help !! cant watch any of my videos that have ben set off from motion !! very important because someone was in my house and im not able to play the video. it just keeps saying thos video cannot be played !!!! uuuuggghhh !!! please hurry up and fix it asap!!!
No tech support. Can't call, emailing is futile and no one in the "online chat.". Deeply frustrating, mostly going to return product. We'll see how that goes. ☹️
camera doesn't connect to wifi, app doesn't even see wifi networks to choose from. GARBAGE !!!!!
been using this cam for a few years now. its decent. cuts out from time to time but that's par for the course. if ya want 100% get a cctv system otherwise take your lumps and quit bitching, ya git what ya pay for.
it appears to be streamlined for the camera. but good luck . you will need it. never did get it to work even once k
Doesn't work right with the pixel 3 won't show notifications. If ur wanting home security don't buy this camera.

Same problem as other ..very many users...will mot see my network before or after firmware upgrade. Basically useless.
Upgraded to samsung s10+ but apparently the new software doesn't support the camera so any help would be appreciated

Would not allow to select a network to connect to. Tried customer service on line no help.
Doesn't work with Samsung Note 9. Can't setup camera as a result.

issues getting playback of videos. It seems like every day there are video events that I am unable to view. Often this happens at night, when I really want to know what's going on outside my home at 2am. Many issues with camera taking video at night. I believe people may be defeating the camera by shining light in the lense to blind it, i.e., switching it to daytime mode at night, so it doesn't readily capture what is happening.
