Iowa ABD Age to Purchase

Retailers can now access the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division's Age to Purchase Calendar with their smartphone. The Age to Purchase Calendar will help calculate the age of a customer attempting to purchase alcohol or tobacco products. The app also has a built-in scanning function. Using the camera feature on the device, the app can scan the barcode on an ID to quickly determine age and validity. No personal information of the customer is stored on the device.

Other features include links to online retailer training programs and a manual date of birth calculator.

Launches quickly is a big plus. I also find there are less arguments and most don't question the results or technology. Very necessary tool!

great idea. Works very fast. could be use with an old smartphone via wifi, no service required. leave it on the back bar ready to use.

Doesn't work for some other states. Shows legit license as a fake please work on it

Is not up to code on the 21+ legal age for tobacco and vapor products. Not helpful at this time.
