It also notifies you, if you have a broken VPN or proxy connection, when the country-code and/or IP address changes unexpectedly. You can set an alert with a special ringtone and or vibration.
You can also display your IP position in Google Maps or check for DNS leaks via browser (external service).
Please note, that the information about your location are fetched out of a database and may not be the same as your real location. This app shows your location like the websites would match your IP to any location.
The rights are needed for the notification (vibration) and the service (run at boot), which checks your connection.

P.S. thanks for your reply. No no no, not working on many MIUI phones (over a third of global phones by Xiaomi). Some MIUI might show but not several of mine. City not showing. ymmv but that's not reality
Expect of a manual refresh button because sometimes the app doesn't update itself. Sometimes even doesn't update the country by tapping to the Alert button twice erroneously.
Pease add option to disable ip6 or ip4 from appearing in notification at the same time. Some users only need ip4

Once ip is changed, a long ringtone is erroneously forced to produced annoyingly. The long ringtone can't be disabled via notification silent setting weirdly. Notification has already been set Deliver Quietly, and Ringtone in this app setting has been set to Silent though. Malfunctioned on Android 12. Can't be normally used anymore.
