REPLY TO DEV: Yes the notification settings are configured properly. But issues below started right after upgrade to Android 12 last week. OP- Says it was updated for Android 12 but most of its functions don't work on 12. Notification tells you about the connection, but tapping it doesn't open WiFi settings as it shouid. And tapping the two "extended settings" does absolutely nothing. Looking for an alternative!

Exactly what I was looking for. Large array of options to work with, and everything is easy to setup. I particularly like the option of showing WiFi SSID currently used in Status line. The fact that the widget can be configured to activate many different options upon being touched - most use full in my opinion is the No Response - is wonderful. This app really stands out with the right features, easy setup and very well implemented. Worth more than 5 stars hands down. Gert P.

This widget is sort of the baseline for an IPMonitor toolkit that i like and appreciate for its content. However i would like to see just a touch more work put into the UI. Drawing over other apps is part of what makes it useful, but theres a lot of real estate devoted to it in notifications. Network change alerts tend to draw in the center of the keyboard or the talk/end button fields. Still, its a very thorough toolset CMDline set.

Update: the developer's suggestion has it working perfectly again. A solid 5 star App, and I would give it a 6 if I could, for the excellent support. Thanks! I would have given this a 5, but the newest version is buggy. It no longer updates as I change internet connections. I now have to open the App and close it to then see my current ip connection. A few weeks ago though it worked great.

I like this widget - however Google Play (or Bitdefender) has flagged it as "infected" after the latest update (I've been using this app for some time now, this was the first such warning). I've reinstalled the last non-problematic version it to be on the safe side. I've no idea whether or not this was a false alarm - thought I'd let you know. (Gave it 5 stars because the app worked fine and was useful)

Most info is displayed but the SID field shows and Channel Number shows 0 (0 Mhz) initially. Other info eg Speed, Signal Strength, Int IP address, Ext IP address are always shown. I have to always tap the display once and then those fields get updated. I have to repeat this same process every time I unlock the screen. I am using Samsung A51 running Android 10. Other than this minor irritant, the app looks good. Pls fix and rating can be upgraded. Tks. A fix has been suggested and the app now works well. The display (which I put on my Home page) shows all pertinent info without any human intervention. Super.

Doesn't work on Xiaomi (MIUI 13/Android 12/POCO launcher - POCO X3 Pro). Autostart enabled, notification enabled, all permissions and other permissions enabled, etc. It will show data, but example external IP never change, even when when you choose manual or update after display is on or reload when tap on widget, it never change. After reboot it just shows "Loading...." forever. (Once issue is fixed, i will update my review / stars)

This is a great app to get a quick glance at your network IP which can be useful. I love apps that at the push of a button or widget where you can see all your network info, connections, ports, IPv6, IPv4, unique Id, gps and agps info, essid, sim, and imei info all at once. This app could improve by getting more detailed even with things like bluetooth id and hardware and kernel info. Thats the best when you can see all that on the same screen right away.

First let me say I love this app I've been using it for years. Unfortunately I just updated to the latest version of Android 10 and it seems to have broken it. It still displays informationbut you can no longer use it to turn on and off Wi-Fi with the latest version of Android. Bummer. It's an Android 10 restriction. Oh well it's still an awesome app.

Sure, there are many ways of getting the information displayed by this app, but I really like how the widget looks, and the design of the app. The user decides precisely what information to display, always correctly formatted in an attractive white on smoky grey background, no themes, no pointless choices -- thank you!

This app is superb and I use this on many devices with it's various plugins it's very useful. There are just a few small things stopping me from voting five stars, perhaps it is something to do with my device or Android Oreo... Would also like to move the flag after the country name as it looks out of place before the name in terms of formatting... I like that you can show the current internal IP of the WiFi but an option to display the external IP with a flag as a notification would be very useful... The icon for the WiFi notification displays 2.4ghz when connected to a 5.8ghz network - if I tap the hide icon option without saving it will show 5 on the icon then it goes back to 2.4? .. Brilliant app nonetheless, hopefully it gets even better!

Use this app/widget a long time and always worked perfect. Now more and more randomly a pop-up appears with the message close app / wait. Please look into this. Fixing this is appreciated.

I have 9 of this developers apps and widgets and have done for a while and all have worked very well for me on different Samsung devices up to the S9. When I upgrade hopefully they will still work for me. I recommend.

Huawei P10Lite, It consistently shows: Channel: 0 (0 MHz / 20MHz). As far as I know there is no Channel 0, and with 0 MHz ??? WiFi should not work at all. The 20MHz channel width seems OK. Just for record, selecting hostname may return the external IP address if the device / router don't have a hostname. This is the case of a TP-Link mobile 4G to WiFi router and that is an expected APP behavior. Amazing app! Thanks!

Perfect! Just what I was looking for, a simple overlay showing me what wifi or cellular network I am connected to. Easy to adjust display text size.

This is the best WiFi widget available on android. Alot of thought has been put into this App. The notification options and access to WiFi settings and to the app itself are well thought out and powerful. Can be be tailored and fine tuned to right down to colours and font sizes. Does everything I want and more. Thanks to the developer.

Updated: Just perfect. I was looking for some widget that could show me my external IP at all times and stumbled upon this app. Couldn't be happier. Cherry on the cake was the capability to see the same on the notification bar. Awesome work guys. Just one suggestion though. I need to expand to see the actual IP. Do you think that can be updated to show the IP, just like the name without expanding?

The screen space required for the widget seems to have changed. Before, it could be scaled to fit 1 high by 2 wide. Now it seems to require 2 high even though the panel itself is only 1 high. So I have to have empty screen space above and below.

The app was working very welll during a year until... I decided I could try to configure the widget to see directly the IP. I tried... It stopped working, I checked notification filter, permissions, cleaned cache, uninstall, reinstalled, reboot 3 times... nothing has changed

A ton of wifi widgets out there, most obsolete today. This one actively maintained, low-key visual impact, accurate information, highly customizable, very easy to set up. Dev did this one the right way. Congratulations, and thanks !

This could be a great Widget, but for some reason it takes up 2 rows even though it is tiny. I don't want to give up that much real-estate for 2 lines of text. I guess the search for a good WiFi widget goes on...

It is an awesome tool! However, since the last update on my S10+ it freezes on "loading". Maybe just a bug to be solved. Update, I removed the battery optimization and it is working perfectly!

Mor. C. Jun 25, 2019

I have to swap networks throughout the day, so I looked for a widget to show the SSID at a glance. I tried many others but this was the only one that worked with the latest Android and reliably changed when the network changed.

Great utility with a clear and simple interface and widget display. Quick access to my external IP address which is help for my birdbox camera. I can't get the email plugin to work but it may be my lack of understanding.

Mar. C. Feb 27, 2020

Excellent. I have the widget set to display the SSID of the current connection + the battery level,, and tapping it takes me straight to mobile data on/off. Just what I needed!

I don't know what happened but today a new update broke the widget on my Pixel 2 XL... Had to uninstall the app it doesn't work it keeps failing. Thanks for your quick response I've had the app for a few years and you've helped me before but it's kind of vague ...which permission do I need to grant the app ..? I tried to grant some permissions on the phone but it wants me to grant permissions through the app but whenever I try to go to the permissions in the app but the app crashes

Very pleased. Let's me know quickly what network I'm connected to and the quality of my connection. One of the first apps I install setting up a new device. It occupies the prime real estate on my top right corner of my screen.
