iPlum US Phone Number, Calling

I've been using this app for several years. Mostly clear conversations. However considering the people I usually talk to or text with this app are literally on the opposite side of the planet it wasn't bad. It really seems most of the time like we were calling across town, rather than 12 time zones away. It is a great app when away from home.

After trying several different similar apps, I actually ended up using iPlum for a while at first, the price was pretty good and I thought it wasn't bad. I ended up upgrading to iPlum when I changed domain names for my business website, it does cost slightly more, but for the features you get, and the MUCH more professional and easy to remember number I got assigned, it's so worth it.

It works perfectly, I now have a personal number on my work phone without having to pay for another line and carry 2 phones. App works well. For a heavy user, I'm very satisfied. Definitely 5 stars. Customer service was surprisingly fast and effective as well. Dont look for other apps. phone number selection is great as well. I cant even get a number this good through a carrier. thumbs up. Very useful app and the text messages go thru quickly and calls are crystal clear. Be aware that u need an Internet connection in order to use app and if u are on cellular network, it will deduct from ur data limit. lots of ringtone choices, but wish I could set custom ones. Extremely stable app.

Its wonderful app to call your relatives and friends and to be connected to them from anywhere in US and Canada. Its like connecting from anywhere. Cheap and has all the features of calling, texting, and voicemails. However, the app often fails. For example, when I get a call, I can hear the iPlum app ring, but nothing popping up in order for me to answer the call. Some of my texts don't go through, so I always have to double-check and resend. A few times I've had the app answer the call on its own, very scary for privacy reasons. Contacted customer service about this last issue and they just said it's nothing on their end.

This app is a great alternative for those without dual SIM phones, or someone wishing to port a local number and use it as VOIP. My only issue has been that the notifications for calls don't always push, and the calls will go straight to my voicemail. Also, it's been taking longer than expected to port in my local number. Besides those small hiccups, it's a pretty good alternative to traditional mobile services.

It's one of my favorite great texting/calling apps so far! You get your own free phone number and can send free calls, texts, pictures, and videos! I did have some trouble before, but uninstalling and reinstalling seemed to fix it. Just know you do have to have 'credits' to make international calls, but I don't make calls outside of the US/Canada, so I'm fine.

I really liked iPlum the first few months . I liked the customer service they responded quickly to a problem I was having. I've tried other apps they start out good for the first 3 to 4 months few months and then stop working. I'm finding out that Plum is the same. When I try to send messages the app freezes up and will not send some of my messages. I'll keep it for another month to see if iPlum fixes the problem.

It does what it says but the app is unstable and has a poor interface. It freezes and becomes irresponsive, even to exit it. Then when launched it does not show what should be an obvious screen - to make calls. (I suggest they learn something from Cloud SIM.) Then, its call rates to the country I call most are outrageously high - twice the competition.

Texts frequently fail, you have to double-check every message went through and when it fails you have to copy and paste and resend it multiple times; app often doesn't allow you to save a new number as a contact so are you seeing your message that are numbers, no names. Super annoying takes forever to figure out who each message is from. Many times photos won't attach to text messages, you then have to get the recipient's email address and send the photos that way. Annoying.

WOW! I never thought they'd make an app like this that actually works good. AWESOME! NO 2 SIMS Cards! Works great and I have not had a problem with it yet. I've been wanting this for years, surprised it took this long for someone to make it. I've tried all the other "free" apps sometimes they work sometimes they don't. but this is absolutely the best one out there and it's definitely worth $10 a month for an extra line. If you're thinking about it go ahead buy it you won't be DISAPPOINTED!

iPlum has been a terrific phone app allowing me to seamlessly move my business number to my cell phone. The support team worked extra to transfer my number from a service that was not very cooperative. I have been extremely pleased with the product and service. But even more incredible is how the iPlum team was very fair in resolving a mistake I made in selecting the wrong plan. That just really shows great integrity and commitment to customer service. I used iPlum on my Tablet and it works just fine have not had any problems with it as long as there is a strong connection makes calls and receive calls. I love it. No ads, it doesn't make you wait to skip either like other apps. I would recommend this for everyone needing a wifi message app.

I have tried many second line apps. but this one here is great. Very simple, semi basic. Non-intrusive. Good options to customize calls, texts and voicemail. This is by far the best second line app I tried and still using. Been a month and still going strong. I've read other reviews and their issues and never experienced any issues so far. Incompetence maybe?

Don't waste your money on this. The app freezes often, requiring restarting the phone. It drops calls and uses all the data from your cell phone plan. To boot, you can't cancel the plan --the instructions say there are choices that don't exist; I had to cancel my credit card payment, and was informed that there would be no refund of the unused service I had bought. On top of all that, there are no "live" customer assistants--all communication. is by text/email.

iPlum is the only real free no strings attached incoming and outgoing, texting phone services available. They give you an option to choose your own phone numbers like your real phone. The best part about these apps is you can use one as a professional line. The other is if you're single and ready to mingle but not a 100% sure on giving your real number out to a creeper 2ndLine is perfect!

it works real good just like any other phone line no problems connecting or hearing no static . I like it and texting you can mms and send gif and stickers has phone caller with this app So no complaints. thank you for making this phone available. I've tried a lot of other free call and text apps and this is the best one hands down. Excellent for everyone.

My experience with iPlum has been a great one. I've been using this app for about 6 months now due to the fact that I use it for work. I was hesitant because I didn't want dropped calls or messages that were sent but never received. I've had a total of 5 dropped calls within these 6 months. It definitely is an app I would recommend to anyone. The only thing that is slightly annoying are the ads that pop up after every call. Other than that, this service proves a 5 star experience. Its good app if we mobile balance but wifi we can call anyone in US, Canada. This is by far one if the best phone and text apps that you can get. Do not waste your time with others. I have tried all of them and this one really works in US, Canada no matter where you are calling from and you can call any on the map

Working perfectly after the first day. Easy setup and great price. Did not want to carry two phones in my pocket but wanted to have a work phone separate from my personal phone. This allows you to have a separate voice mail text and phone calls using a separate number on the same phone as my personal phone.

Great for businesses that need to have a different line to appear professional and connects without WiFi. Calls inbound and outbound thru your carriers mobile connection. Unlike Google voice where you need WiFi to place or receive calls. Automated Voicemail sounds professional and you can record your own. Wish it had caller id for outbound calls.

Half the time the messages don't send. i have to turn the phone off and back on to get them to send. Frequently it will take 2-3 restarts. I often get a message thst file is too large when i attach a photo (which I have previously sent on a regular SMS format text app). These errors occur with and without wifi turned on/connected. Frequently, i will not get a notification that an iPlum text has come in at all until i open iPlum and see it. Frustrating. It also stops unexpectedly.
