IPMooca

The Presbyterian Church of Mooca is a Protestant Christian community, heir of the Reformed tradition. This means that our origins date back to the movement of the Protestant Reformation of the sixteenth century, more particularly the movement that was led by French theologian John Calvin.

We are committed to the five classic statements of the churches derived from the Protestant movement:

Sola Gratia: Only grace, believe that salvation is a work originated in the love of God and that is only possible because of this love.

Sola Scriptura: Only the Scripture, believe in the inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture (Old and New Testaments), and that all our faith and practice should be guided by her and only her.

Sola Fide: Only faith, believe that salvation is given by grace and not by our merits, faith is the instrument by which we approach the salvation and not its cause.

Christus Sola: Only Christ, we believe that the only path that leads to God is Jesus Christ and that there is no other Savior and Mediator between us and God but Him.

Soli Deo Gloria: Only God the glory, we believe that there is one God to whom we owe tudp we have and are and to Him alone we worship in our services and daily life.
