Really fantastic with one exception. I can't find a way to set when the day rolls over. So if your day doesn't end at or before Midnight this gets very very annoying and difficult to use. Quite a few things are locked behind a subscription paywall, I would have much preferred and been happy to have just a one time fee type of thing. Aside from those this app seems really promising.
Just what I was looking for, I wanted an app to gamify tasks and habits but couldn't find the right one. The amount of options is just nice and the app is intuitive to use. I find the parrot narration funny :) and like the cute design of the app. However, I think there can still be some places to improve or have potential to become even better, so I'm looking forward to what the developers are planning to do! like adding a counter for the number of times the user does a bad habit
It starts out exciting until you get notifications. Then you see the load micro purchases. My biggest issue is that I don't feel like I'm excitedly achieving goals. Instead it feels the way most deadlines go, you're pestered, threatened, or guilted into completing a task. On the other hand, this app does have a very nice feature of timing your task and reminding you to take breaks. Unfortunately, it's buggy too. No simple way to add habits or challenges on the main page.
Really loving it so far. It has great features and is making the process of making and keeping a routine quite effortless and enjoyable. The leveling stuff, pets, and other gameification aspects are cool, but I feel like there's room to grow. I personally don't think it also needs to be a full blown game, but like the preface of fighting the procrastination snail or whatever excited me, but then I realized it was just metaphorical and there was no snail. I think doing something with it is key.
If your looking for an alternative to Habiticia that doesn't have all the extra time wasting stuff you've probably found it. Its a little less straight forward but the developer takes suggestions and does actually use them, and once you get the hang of it; it's not any harder than Habiticia. However if your looking for another alternative to Habiticia that's free, this is not it, there are a number of some what vital features that will run you a subscription cost.
Cons: Having my pet's health and the possibility it can die tied to how often I do my tasks is too forceful and stressful to me. The artwork for pets and habits isn't my style. I wish there was more colors and symbols available at the start. Pros: It would be great for people who want that extra push and accountability. I like that you can make challenges to group tasks under. They also have premade challenges that look interesting. The format is good.
I think that the app is very well made and also optically pleasing. I do think it would be good if the health bar of the pet would not go down as quick. also I think it would be great if you could add jobs sort of old school final fantasy style where if you play an instrument a few times a week you level up as a musician or if you paint or write a few times a week you level up as an artist or writer. I would really love that! 😊 In general I am superhappy with the app and design though! thanks
Awesome app with everything I was looking for! Except few stuff: 1)Way too buggy- Doesn't show anything in the 'rewards' pop up after we level up,Flickering options, Going back from a tab/screen shows a blank screen, and we have to restart the app every single time that happens 2)Annoying pop up asking to upgrade which can't be swiped away 3)Extremely few icons available 4)No animations, and no sounds when leveling up or when completing a quest 5)Challenge needs special treatment. I use Android 9
Best gamefied productivity app I've ever tried. It's still early days, but I like it more everyday. Most productivity apps lost my interest or engagement within 10 minutes of trying out the interface : too complicated, too much set up, too unforgiving, too many features restricted to premium. This one is fun, approachable, and forgiving (lets you reschedule tasks when life goes sideways). If you struggle with executive functioning (ADHD or otherwise) I highly recommend this app. Oh, and no ads!
Seems good so far, though the "gems" you use to "buy" certain functions seem few and far between... of course, you can buy them with real cash. I accidentally spent one on food for the "pet" so I've been down to 0 for days, despite getting all my tasks done each day... I'm mostly holding out to see if I eventually have to buy gems if I want to unlock any better features while keeping the pet happy. This could also use a bit more customization. Overall though, I'm happy and recommend trying it!
I've tried so many apps, productivity, gamification, habit trackers galore.. But this is the single best app out there. I love that you can customise everything and add a load of notes, set challenges and assign goals and habits to it. You can set the difficulty level, assign area of life to goals and habits and the pet function is great at keeping you in line with your commitments. Thank you so much for this
Good design and interesting idea with gamification. I haven't posibility to start my repeating quest from month ago, when I've realy started to do it. When I picked day before I haven't seen them in quest history. It's realy annoy me! For starting quest in previous month I should change current date in phone settings. After that I see previous quest done events in history. But in some cases my app closes in agenda. Guys, please fix those, because I'm looking for a new app.
Great app for gamefying! Some preset stats are fun, and the structure is relatively easy to follow. I wish that the pay structure can be reconsidered regarding access to preset challenges as that would help when leaening to use the app. Perhaps a temporary taste of what premium looks like would encourage users rather than turn them off.
Changing to 1 star. This company sold my email address. Pro: I like the calendar and time blocking and ease of scheduling. Challenges are nice also. Cons: icons, colors should be included in sub. Also, I can't use daily challenge in Plan My Day since it ONLY shows yesterday's quests and not todays. Also, there's no way to know what any of the pet food does. Pet health feels more like punishment for existing and not a thing that feels good to upkeep. No way to assign attributes to custom tags.
Hasn't been updated in a 1 year, devs are nowhere to be found. You need to subscribe ($6/mo) & even if you do that, everything else needs to be paid: theme, colors, icons, pets, pet food, etc. If pet dies you need to buy to revive it. You can buy the items above with gems earned by completing tasks, but it's almost impossible, the app wants you to fail so you can buy things. I bought icons and after I reinstalled the app they're gone & need to buy it again.
Love it! Everything I needed, sufficiently pushy to get me to do stuff, and doesn't feel like a boring adulty app. Very satisfying to tick things off. I love that you can have daily habits, bigger to dos, set times, and can have more long term goals. I've only had it a few days so who knows whether it'll stick, but it's certainly been a few days of much higher productivity than usual!
I really love the look of this app. I am a visual planner, but there are very few apps that address that. This is one of the best I've seen. Some things to make it better:. Tell me how to make my pet happy. What is the purpose of the pet, m. Do they help me at all? How do I set up Daily Challenge? Just overall some advance tutorials. What are the icons on the home page? Love this app, and I think I'll stick with it. Just a few more things to discover about it.
This is one of the coolest productivity apps I've ever seen! It has all of the components I was looking for, like a countdown timer, calender syncing, and time slots. I really enjoy the gamification of the tasks and habits you are trying to form.
Good app with lots of great features but it's abandon-ware. It hasn't been updated in years and so any problem you might find won't get fixed. The website is no longer active and with it all the help pages. It's a great app otherwise.
The lack of syncing between devices is the biggest stumbling point. It also needs for you to be able to change the alert sound. Beyond that, i really like how the plan you day works. It's much better than other todo apps.
This app compromises almost every important feature which you can find in gamified planners and keep these features simple, so it is easy to get in. It stands out with * good written presets of quests * ability to assign the number of actions for habits and beautiful visualization for that (like drink water 8 times per day - you should log it 8 times) As a bad side - it wiped my week progress and all quests created while I wasn't logged in when I actually logged in. ðŸ˜
I used 4 different semi similar apps trying to find the perfect app. This was by far my favorite. It has so many features and makes my day feel rewarding. The only thing I am missing is a more customizable avatar but I wouldn't be surprised if they rolled out with that eventually.
Overall, I love it. However, I would love to see more options in Tabs. I need one for Money, hobbies, Business (I use work, but I have a full time job & a side business), Travel, Relationships, and so foeth. there's more that could be added. But it is one of the best I've used. I love that theres a built in Pomodoro Timer.
