Today is 10-9-19, I downloaded the app this past weekend. I searched you tube for video showing how to use it. I found one that said to calibrate it to sound level, I did that. Took it to the range on the 8th. My instructor and I went to the settings, checked the sound level again and hear is were the problem began. We were not able to go to the front page of the app. To clear the screen I had to turn the phone off, wait a few seconds, turn it on and re open the app. In par time did not work.

Used it for a few days now, I can't find one thing wrong with it. You can customize the sensitivity for dry/ live fire. I haven't used it at the range though. Just at the house and outside. Different modes are cool. Has a constant timer that registers shot times continuously or set it for a number or shots. No ads that impede the use of the app. Great.

This app is pretty much only good for using it as a par time clock. The delay timer does not work even if you set it to start at a specific amount of time. Even if you make your shot under par time it still somehow gives you a time that exists outside of the set par time. One or two of these problems could be because of my phone, but most of the inconveniences are because of the program itself.

It is close to what I want in a timer. Make the start button bigger. There were multiple times I hit start and waited and nothing happened and other times where I wasn't sure if I hit it or not because it doesn't say ready until after the beep. Also I would like to have the option of a dark back ground theme. Fix those and it may just be the best shot timer app available.

I have never liked timer apps on my phone... until now. This timer was easy to set and use. The calibration and echo features allowed me to isolate it to the shooter I was training and not record shots from other bays. While it was not as loud as my Pocket Pro Timer II, it worked well for 1-on-1 trainings. In fact. It is actually easier to use than the Pocket Pro Timer II, especially setting par times.

Is there anyway to speed the reaction time up for the first shot? I have a dedicated octocore phone that has this app only on it and it still won't register anything faster than .37 on the first shot fired when doing ipsc speed draws from the surender position I outrun it everytime and don't have the funds to purchase another real one. That being said it is still a great app and thank you, all other shots after the first will register as low as .12 just not the first one.

Liked the app. It would be nice you could start the timer with your volume button, or just set it so you can tap anywhere on the screen to start the timer. The button to start/stop is kinda small as is, but if either of those were features this would be a 5 star app.

It works for the most part when the sensitivity is super low, but it picks up every sound that occurs. But when I calibrate it for my dry fire trigger it doesn't really work. I like it enough for it being a phone shot timer.

Only got it to work in default Comstock mode. Nice simple shot timer. You have to set sound pick-up for your trigger in dry fire and it keeps the setting. Erases times after session. Have not used with live fire, but should do splits and cadence. Ads are not at all intrusive.

Using a well kept galaxy S8. I had all my settings dialed in perfectly. The first session of dry firing I had with this app worked flawlessly but now the app wont even register a loud clap IMMEDIATELY after the beep sounds, but will register a click of my trigger "2 to 3 seconds" after said beep. What is going on? My settings are set exactly the same as my first session (I screen shot my settings my first session)

Decent app for dryfire practice. Multiple modes, adjustable noise gate, easy UI. Biggest problem is it won't pick anything up that's under about 0.5 seconds after the beep, which makes some basic speed drills a little hard to get actual times for. Otherwise a pretty solid app

Love it! 2 drawbacks, sometimes setting the threshold is weird but it works itself out after one or two courses and this isn't necessarily a drawback but it only beeps as loud as your phone can. Sometimes hard to hear

I use it for dry fire when training my draw to first shot. It works pretty well. It acts a little strange sometimes, but nothing to bad. Adding a the pressure of time to the training makes a huge difference.

it's functional but not particularly advanced. I like the ability to view the splits as a list. I dislike that there isnt a good way to export them othet than taking a screenshot.

Unfinished app. Can't delete all recorded shots at once, but must do it one by one. Shot recognition is not good. You can't save the session. I just can't recommend this.

This is an awesome app. I've seen some other people's comments on here saying they don't like it because you have to delete the splits one by one well that's untrue that's only people that don't know how to use the app, all you have to do is hit start again and they automatically delete.

Not perfect but is the best I've found for dry fire. But the beeper is just not loud enough for live fire with hearing protection. But thats probably more dependent on your phone than the app.

Once you adjust the sensitivity it's pretty reliable, just wish I could log multiple draws on it. Some info on the different modes would be interesting too. Overall a great starting shot timer app

Zac. L. Dec 22, 2020

It will not let me delete multiple previous times at once regardless of what I do. After about 15 minutes of me trying I've given up and moved onto other apps. No need to spend most of dry firing deleting times individually.

Minimum delay % feature does not work, will get timer going off in 1 second, when it's set to 50% of 8 seconds. Also par time is wholly inaccurate. 1 second par time yields 1.4 seconds start of tone to start of tone.

Mic. A. Nov 19, 2021

Even after calibrating it only registered about half the shots. I guess i will get a real shot timer. This could have been a game changer. Hopefully they can improve it.

App works well. I wish the microphone calibration could be manually inputted. Often it takes 3 times to calibrate, but i know what the number should be and wish i could just type it in.

I can use this app to practice dry fire drills at home and it works great. I was surprised it works from the striker dropping. It can be setup very sensitive to sound.

Bra. K. Mar 30, 2020

I do like the app, there is alot of options to change shooting drills and decibel readings. You dont need a second person to help either. Great app!

Great timer. I think the interface could be a little sharper, neater. It's kinda plain Jane as is... but doesn't take away from the function. Big help with my training. I have this AND the dry fire trainer. Must have for any serious concealed carrier.

Mat. T. May 18, 2022

Good timer. Does what it says on the tin. Settings can be set sensitive enough to pick up dry fire which is awesome.

Kev. B. May 24, 2022

no matter how many times I calibrate this to my phone it misses shots. If it will not accurately count the number of shots fired it is useless
