Like everone else, I've been put in a wait list. Which seems odd since I pay to receive for the monthly Glam bag & received an email from them to download the app. If their sending emails out, one would think you could access the app. UPDATE- I received an email from Kristy at ispy giving me access to the app. It really is a neat app. I really like that you can earn "ispy" cash. 💟

After writing a review because of being waitlisted, I received a nice email saying they had taken me off the wait list and explained what it was and why it was there. 5 stars for customer service. I absolutely love ipsy and the glam bags are marvelous. You definitely have a long-term subscriber. Keep being amazing guys!

A friend told me about ipsy and how awesome it is. So i signed up. And then my friend told me to download the app to make things easier. Wellllll it didn't. First the app for android and iPhone are not the same. Second the android app isn't even available for use . You download it and it tells you sorry not ready we will email you. Pretty ridiculous. I don't even want the subscription anymore and i just signed up today. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth

App doesn't function properly. Doesn't credit the cash to my account from my shopping trips. I have to send multiple emails with tons of screenshots to get my cash credited. And now the $26 that I had in my account is showing up as $0.00 when I have not used it. So now I am having to go through the emails and screenshots all over again. Not worth the trouble. I can save just as much money with promo codes.

I want to use this app.. But i cant get on. Says ive been waitlisted... I pay for my ipsy, so id like to be able to use the app. Its been almost a week since i got the app and i still can't get on. Fix this Update: its been two weeks and i still cant get on the damn app. Someone fix this NOW before i unsubscribe. Uninstalled the app

Update: I was on the wait list and ended up getting an email saying I was no longer in it and today I got my first glam bag. I gotta say I'm loving it.. They don't have an app for Android yet so I hope they can get one working soon.. Good job ladies.. I'm still on the wait list and yet they have taken another$10 out of my back account.. I'll probably end up canceling this if I don't get a reason as to what's going on.. I don't think I should pay for anything I don't have access too..

Haven't gotten into the app despite having just received my glam bag. I'm very frustrated and tempted to move on to Sephora play. UPDATE: I've been given access to the app and its wonderful. Very helpful, can't wait for pay day so I can get some new products

I dislike the fact that they allow people.to sign up for something, then wait list them. I did what I was supposed to do to get off the wait list then was told there was no March bags left avaliable. I e mailed them today and now they say I will get a bag. However, I still can't use the app. Not a good way to start business with people. It's very frustrating. That need a better system.

I have been on this wait list forever! Ipsy charged my account but I have yet to receive anything or hear anything. I'm excited for this but I'm starting to not if this wait list last any longer UPDATE: ipsy reached out to me, I was taken off the wait list and now able to access the app. I appreciate that they care and want my happiness and excitement to continue! I would say give it a shot, I love it.

Update: Ipsy was in contact very quickly to explain the issue with the app and that its used for buying products, which is exactly what I wanted it to be. I haven't been using Ipsy a super long time but they offer great products and customer service. ******** It's annoying that the app is avaliable to download but not available to use. It brings upa screen that says I'm on a waiting list. I was pretty excited to fee able to see my bags on the app vs going to the website.

Revised: It has now let me in and it is helpful. I have had this app for over a month, deleted and redownloaded and did a review of my glam bag and still can't get on. And then they just sent me another email asking me to download it. Don't ask people to download something if you aren't even going to let them on

Like seemingly everyone else I am on a waiting list to use the app which is ridiculous since I paid for ipsy. I would love an explanation and would also love to be able to use this app since the people who can use it say it's great. 😠 Update: I got an email and they took me right off the list. This app is great and so is Ipsy's customer service! Definitely get this app if you are an ipsy subscriber because it gives you great cash back opportunities and is super easy to use!

I think it's pretty stupid how you have to submit a review to use the app. Obviously they will get bad reviews due to this. Definitely something that needs to change. Especially since we have to pay to get the product. Just wanna shop more. We give you money, you give us an app we don't have to wait to use or have to review without knowing anything about said app. Dumb.

I dont think people understand that this is NOT the glam bag app that they have for iPhones. This is a makeup shopping app where you get cash back for purchases and you can buy the products that appear in the glam bags. The Ipsy app on iPhones and the Ipsy Shopper app are different apps entirely and they are not meant to be the same. If you are waitlisted and still want access to this app that just has more products to buy I suggest sending them an email. The app is very easy to use and good for what its for.

Extremely disappointed!! I recieved a promotion email for this app that said I'd get 30% cash back from select cosmetic purchases done through them (one time only). And now I can't even gain access to the app when I've already done my purchase? False advertisement! Don't promote the app if it isn't going to be readily available to ALL users. Especially when you're already a subscriber. An email sent beforehand stating that there will be a waitlist or issues due to "bug fixes" would have been highly appreciated. At least I would've been warned and more patient. Beyond annoyed and on the verge of canceling my IPSY subscription and sticking to my Sephora Play! This waitlist thing they've got going on is overrated.

Like everyone else I'm already a paying member but I'm wait listed. Kind of dumb to have an app out if you are not ready for it to be used. Making me rethink my decision to be a member. Bad enough I had to wait a whole month to get a glam bag and it took 16 days for me too get it once you took the money out my account. I am definitely on the fence as to whether I continue with Ipsy. This is very ridiculous that you have an option to log in and then you say to wait. I'm not understanding why there is such a wait list, it really makes me want to cancel my subscription. I mean come on ipsy are you just choosing the customers you want for this app. Why have an app that all your customers CANT even browse to buy more from you. To me that just seems a little odd. I have to agree with others it's hard to rate an app that you can't even try. So how long are you going to make your paying customers wait to be able to access this app?

Okay so the app is intended for iOS so maybe email them if you're on android to be able to use the app.. so far I like it. I haven't received my glam bag yet. From what I can tell they ship it at the first of the month. But this app lets you look at what was in other months glam bags and you can look at a bunch of different brands and shop and they have sweepstakes and stuff. I'm pretty satisfied so far.. update when I get my glam bag in april.

Update: Shortly after my post i received an email stating why i was on a waiting list! They are still working out all the bugs so everyone please be patient with them. Also for android users they are still working on the actual ipsy app this is just a shopper app that gives great discounts on products! This app won't even open for me to see anything. I don't understand why I'm on a waiting list to see what's on the app.

I have had this app for some time now but have been on a waiting list. I've been an ipsy subscriber since August of 2016. I shouldnt have to wait for access when I've been a customer for so long. EDIT:They let me join and I love it!! I can see what's in my glam bags and how much money I'm saving every month.

I'm writing a review in hopes to get off the waitlist. My brother in law and I downloaded the app together and he was granted access immediately and I was wait listed, even though I have been a paying customer and he hast not which is irritating. I love my glam bags and would really like to use the app.

I'm disappointed to get waitlisted for the app when I have been getting glam bags for months. This is ridiculous. I'm now considering eliminating my ipsy subscription and deleting this app since I can't use it anyway. It's basically just wasting memory space on my phone

-Update- Was contacted my costumer service and explained to the situation. They have amazing customer service! Was also removed from the waitlist, and the app is awesome! I subscribed to ipsy and even though I haven't gotten a glam bag yet, there isn't any reason why an app shouldn't be available to me. I've been on a "waitlist" for a week now.

Of course im waitlisted! I get it they are still working on it and fixing the "bugs" but if this is the case then they shouldnt tell me to download the app everytime i log into my account! No wonder they have such a poor rating maybe they should have got the app where they wanted before they started offering it to people,ive never been waitlisted for an app before.... I love ipsy and i love ipsy care they are always extremely helpful so hopefully they can get it together and this app can be just as great as tvey are....

I've been an ipsy subscriber since January 2015. Yet I'm wait listed for the app. Doesn't make a bit of sense. UPDATE: Kristy with Ipsy reached out to me quickly after my initial review, and resolved my issue with accessing the app. The app is great! Ipsy's customer service is the greatest! Thanks again!

I subscribe to Ipsy. I shop on Ipsy. I dream of Ipsy. So when I downloaded this app and they put me on a waiting list, I said "fine, I'll wait because Ipsy is worth it." WELL, I have waited long enough. It's been over a month and this has gotten ridiculous. It would be different if I've never made a purchase through Ipsy before, but I have and would like to continue to do so. So can I PLEASE be given access so Ipsy can take my money! I tried emailing the developer (using the address below) and it came back saying the address didn't exist. What's going on here? This isn't the customer service I expected from such a great company...All I'm asking for is access to the app so I can make my purchases, give the app a fair review, and to continue making my purchases. Is that really too much to ask?

How long does it actually take to get off a waiting list for an app? Just wondering. It's absurd to download an app and waste space on the phone if you can't even use it. 😒 seems odd Update: still on waitlist which truthfully is ridiculous because all they have to do is check if someone is a member or not. I've been paying every month so far so idk what the issue is. Maybe it's only for people who were members longer. I just think its actually inconsiderate to make someone download your app and have them wait. I'll wait another week (and I think that's fair for an effing app) if I still can't get in then I'm going to just delete it. Don't see the actual point of it.

I was recommended to try ipsy by a coworker. She's showed me some of her bags and the products she's received and I'm impressed. I am NOT pleased, however, with all he roadblocks I ave encountered up to this point. I would love the opportunity to actually receive some bags, myself, but it seems that I have to jump through hoops to do so. I refuse to post anything other with this for myself. I will gladly change my review when I become a "subscriber" after my wait list wait.
