IPTV Smarters Pro

In terms of the Android platform, you will not find a better IPTV app. They all have their quirks but this one is very easy to live with. Works nicely with the Xstream API for both TV channels and VOD. Costs very little to upgrade to the paid version and the extra functionality it unlocks makes it totally worth it.

Good app, but after the recent update the app now requires you to pay to access the basic settings that were available prior to the update. I don't mind having to pay gor extra settings that we have not seen before , but taking away the settings we already had and requiring to pay for them doesn't seem like a good move. **** Still hate the fact you have to sign up to a new account just to access the settings menu. Previous versions also seem to have an easier UI. This new UI is annoying to use.

A few things need work but overall it's a good app. Going back to live TV from watching a channel shows guide from when the channel was started, it doesn't update with time just stays stuck and you have to exit and come back to the live TV section. EPG and channels update in foreground, there should be an option to have it done in the background, after choosing automation options it should just do all that in the background, the notice that it's doing a refresh of channels and movies or downloading the EPG is really unnecessary. Lastly when going to settings from the channel list and coming back to the list it's playing the channel it was but the highlighted channel is the first on the list, having it highlight the channel that's currently playing in the small window should be something that's done by default everytime something is playing in the small window. Other than that it's good.

Slow speed for download. Now since the upgrade on the software, the sound and the picture does not sync on about half of the English speaking channels. Even if you change channels and go back over it again - no change. There is also a dark shadow on the top 1/3 and the bottom 1/3 of the picture each time I change the channel. It lasts for only two seconds but still, never did that before. Also many of the buttons on the remote no long apply as before. I feel 3 stars right now is generous

It's a great app it works perfect. If you have a watching TV problem it's not with the app but with your PROVIDER. I had some tiny issues with most Europeans/US channels, it works. However the image is slow and not aligned with the sound. The sound spoke first but 3 minutes later the images show what sound was that. Other than that it's great. Plus I pay for one year the sucker gave me 6 months. (I'm trying to reach them but can't find them)

I have been having problems for a month now. I paid the full year. Won't load any live Tv off and on. Series haven't worked in weeks. Movies 1 in a 100 play. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. The first week I got connected with a service rep.. he gave me a new URL to try. It didn't help.. Now I have no access to my account. It does not accept my user or password. I am stuck on update on Premium. Very frustrated. I was really enjoying the IPTV in the beginning. I have spent hours and hours looking for a solution because the help tickets I send get no reply.

This app has all the features I am looking for but the video player is not stable. For example, if I try to switch channel when the current channel is buffering, it freezes the channel and I could hear only the sound from new switched channel. If they could sort out the issues with player, this will be the best iptv player app

It's good but room for improvement. Hardware decoding was laggy for me while software had acceptable performance (could be my box). EPG timeline view could be improved. How about navigate between groups with left and right as opposed to navigate EPG? Also there's no option to open with other player in timeline view. Lastly a smaller font size in timeline would be a big improvement if this can be an option. While viewing a channel I think pressing ok would be a good option to bring up channel list rather than pressing the back button because if you press the back button accidentally too many times it can lead to frustration due to having to reload channels. These are my main gripes/issues. Thanks!

At first I was only giving it 1or 2*'s because I didn't know how or where to get lists/codes/input thing, but Overall once I figured that out, I've been able to use it proficiently. Ive mainly used it 4 my parents. that have a hard time setting up their DVR, they miss shows, news, ect. n then they forgot they missed anything.I set it up to favorite all their local live shows, news, and brand new movies and then set an external casting app. This is how u cut the cable chord. Lol

The new UI is great. It misses a big feature though, you should be able to pin categories to the top of the list (previously you could move categories from all to live which allowed to to put favourite categories into a list). There's also an annoying bug in a newer version, the colour goes bad when going from previous to full screen. These two issues make the new app un-usable, hence my 1 start rating.

The app is pretty good except for the audio, the audio is extremely low for TV channels and even lower with movies, I don't know what the issue is. I used to have an older version IPTV Smarters Pro app and there were never audio issues. I know definitely it's not to do with my tablet because my tablet speakers are very loud so it's definitely an app issue and there's no sound adjustment within the app.

Worst app I've ever used. The UX is beyond bad... This was clearly designed by a developer with no regard for usability. The keyboard covers input boxes, if you make a mistake it kicks you out and you have to start all over, it's slow, ugly, and confusing. Don't waste your time and use Tivimate or even Ott Navigator instead.

Absoutely useless!!! Thought I'd give it a try but free version is hopeless. Cant change settings, add players, sync audio......nothing!!!!! Just a scam to get you to pay for what they say is a fuller version. Dont waste your time. Much better free apps available that actually work. In all the years I've used these kind of apps this is without question.......the absolute worst!!!!!!

I don't recommend this app! It was good at the beginning but now there is always a problem, either live channels don't work properly or movies and series keeps freezing. or there is a problem in the audio. every time i contact customer service they tell me that there is maintenance in progress. It keeps lagging all the time.

After the new major update from 24/06/2021 the experience usingthe app became terrible. It was much easier to navigate with the previous version with fewer clicks. Also the buttons on the remote PROG +/- are no more working, we used to be able to change the channels using the remote PROG buttons, now only works with the arrows. Will downgrade to old APK. This one is going in the trash 🗑

Great app and the recent updates were really welcome. It really needs a way of being able to backup and restore you settings/favorites! It can take a long time to get the channels right and then can be lost or not synced across different devices! Please add this ***edit*** This has now been added, thank you and well done devs 👏

The interface is nice, user friendly, but it is way too slow compated to other IP TV apps, especially while loading Favorites. Also the EPG is updating only manually (the automated loading always throws an error). It should be nice if a customized grouping option would be added and while starting the Live tv section, the Favourites section to be loaded by default.

I have been a paid user of the IPTV Smarters Pro version for a few years. I like some of the new features while dislike some others. What I don't like are not able to default to the Favorite group, and that both the groups and channel lists are shown at the same time, dividing the listing screen into 3 columns instead of 2 as in the old version. I now have 2 real problems too: 1, I had this app installed on multiple devices -- PC, tablet, phone, and Android TV boxes (not all being used at the same time of course). As of the last update, now it limits the use to 5 devices and kicked me out of some devices so I could not change the Settings or Parental Controls. 2, I had my favorite TV channels saved in the Favorite group. My TV streaming provider recently reassigned some of the TV channels, rendering some saved favorite channels invalid and are shown as blank channel names. There is no way to remove them from the Favorite group. I wish I could include a screenshot here to show it. WHMCS SMARTERS, please fix these issues.

New update is terrible! I paid for all access, but still not pleased. Is there a way to revert to the last version? I still have it on one of my other Android boxes, but I can seem to get it over to the others that had auto update. If the issues are not addressed, I will move away from smatters. Been using them for years, but what they have done with this upgrade is terrible!

Good app when it works which isn't often. I've used it a totally of 3 months. The first month was through Genuine TV and I was pretty happy with it and it suited our needs but they switched to IPTV and it went downhill from there. I has issues installing it on my Firestick and their tech support was horrible. So I let it go and watched on my phone. Then this past month i was able to install it on my Firestick but now there's no live TV or movies. Wth?

Regularly the channels list update fails, and only needs a 'retry'. Though, at the same time , the 'Favorite' list gets lost, which must then be rebuilt manually !! (painful !) Couldn't it be saved somewhere instead , or as a manual option ?? Also a possibility to organize the list (move up/down items) would be handful Thanks for this great application, anyway.

Most things are working fine, BUT you guys should have a seperate RADIO section, for example, LIVE TV, MOVIES, SERIES, RADIO. It would be perfect. And also the list of live channels should appear when we press the OK button instead of pausing. Currently we have to press back button to show up the list. I give you guys 4 star. When you fix all these, you deserve 5

The app works good and has a nice UI. But I have problems: the EPG loads in other apps, but in Smarters it says is unavailable. Other problem is that favourites is not easy to access when the channel list is sorted alphabetically. Another more is that everytime the Iptv lists are updated by my provider, they get removed from LiveTV, Movies, etc. Please add a button on the toolbar to exit from channel. Its annoying to have to drag on the screen, also raises volume! Does not work with chromecast

A good app with a layout similar to a MAG box featuring channel list, preview pane and epg all clearly visible and nicely laid out. This app was also the most stable on my Android Box with no need to change player when switching streams or channels. The only improvement i'd like to see is the ability to back up portals (users) information and settings in order to transfer between boxes or when reinstalling the App, as entering and setting up several individual providers manually can be laborious

The app looks good compared to other IPTV apps but on the tv if you’re in a channel and you change to another channel and then go back to that previous channel it doesn’t load anymore, it has bugs, and on the computer the image have also some stops specially on sport channels, on the phone seems to work ok, they have to fix or update the app.
