IQVIA Study Hub

The IQVIA™ Study Hub is a new offering, transforming the current delivery of clinical trials by putting the patient at the center of clinical studies. Virtual trials will combine deep scientific expertise with advanced technology to take the trial directly to the patient’s location. A virtual study team consisting of Primary Investigator, Patient Guide, Study Concierge, who will partner with local care providers, all interacting using a central study platform (Study Hub) to ensure adequate patient management, oversight and safety. Update: The setting below, Fingerprint/Facial Recognition doesn't work anymore. This is a terrible app. Back to 1 star. Update: I got the biometric authentication working. After logging in, tap on Profile then App Settings. Turn on Fingerprint/Facial Recognition. Once I did this, I closed the app and reopened and the biometric authentication was working. I'll update to 3 stars only because it's such a simple issue to resolve with ZERO responses from the developers.

I'm a very patient person, I hardly review things negatively, but dear God please learn how to create an app that saves your password. Also when we finally get into the app after having to manually type in the password and enabling biometrics and it's still not working Time after Time take me to the screen where the notification is notifying me. Instead we just get a blank screen I have to click around through your buggy app to finally find the place to answer the questions and Hope it opens.

I have to log in every time I use the app and then enable biometrics. Makes it harder to enter the info I need to for the study. This is the only biometric enabled app that does not work for me on my phone. Attempted to email developer and email was returned. It's useless to list it if we can't contact them.

The app constantly logs me out, and despite enabling biometric use every time it logs me out it only allows me access through my password. For some reason it is the only app on my phone that doesn't give the option to save my log in details with the Samsung smart pass, so it makes it a complete hassle every time it logs me out. Someone on the trial team informed me that this is an extremely common issue/complaint, and they've informed the app company more than once, to no avail.

You'd be hard pressed to create a worse app. Bad update experience and incorrect notifications. Simple concept executed with remarkable ineptitude. Update April 2022. App still sucks in terms of simple functionality, never retains my selection of biometric login despite uninstall/reinstall. Rename this app "Sucky Hub" and, if you're going to take part in a clinical study and they require this software, back out. Your mental wellbeing will thank you.

The latest application update has the same results. Every time you logon, you enter your name and password. The application does not save biometrics. This is a constant inconvenience as the application states the biometric data is saved, but it is not.

It stopped working on 04/07/2022. It no longer lists the task for Thursday. I'll see about Monday when that day comes aound. I wonder how much research went into this app!?! As of right now this app is totally useless. It's been corrected and seems to be working better.

The app may work well for those wanting the data, but it's completely frustrating for this user. It simply does not remember me from one sign-in to the next, despite offering biometrics. As a volunteer on a project I expect the basic tool to actually work without hiccup. Indeed, I've started not bothering because there's no reason to think such a flaky app is actually recording my data, or in a reliable way.

Update: Biometrics login no longer works at all. have been using this app for over a year to report symptoms related to a COVID vaccine study. It is adequate, but not intuitive. You have to hit an extra button to get your responses to the symptom survey to save, rather than that happening automatically. Once complete, the calendar doesn't recognize the task as complete. Every time they update the app, the biometric login does not work and codes have to be reentered The developer email fails.

Frustrating. Does not store log in details. Does not confirm that a task has been completed. Information about visits to study centre does not sync with appointment card so I have to check back with study centre to find out if time has been changed without my knowledge, wasting my time and theirs. When I needed to do daily rather than twice weekly reports it was annoyingly persistent in sending reminders throughout the day rather than waiting 24 hours after my last report.

Since the most recent update we have to reenter credentials to log in and the Biometrics option does not work although the system always asks if you want to turn on that option. Not nearly as simple to use as before the update. IQVIA, please fix it!

Software failure again Update: There are ongoing updates with problems logging in after each one but no obvious improvements for the participant user. Biometric logging in hasn't been working for a month. We are unpaid volunteer participants and you have turned an easy check in into an ordeal. I had to memorize my password after repeated biometrics failures and then you required new passwords. When I drop out it will be due to this app.

It doesn't remember Biometrics, so I have to enable it every time. It keeps shaking off the ability of my phone to bring up my Samsung password. And it puts this annoying Agent Offline button right over the place I have to click things like Next and Submit, which makes me have to scroll up and down to get to those buttons.

Fingerprint authorization stopped working about 2 months ago. The app prompts me every time I use it to enable biometrics, and I press that button every time. But the next time it still requires me to enter a password. Annoying.

App creates reminders for information requests it was given. No way to clear old messages. While mostly dependable, it fails to be wholely reliable. Customer Service does not know how to reset or fix app. Reinstalled 3 times. I have been a user since December 2020.

How can an app be so user unfriendly? I agree with others that this is the worst part of the study. With technology today and all the people out there who design apps, this should be an easy part of the process. Once you're in, the one question asked isn't the problem. It's the signing in. Too bad it's something that has to be struggled with just to be part of the study.

Dogshit app. If you have biometrics enabled to unlock with a fingerprint rather than a password, why do you still have to make up a new password every couple of months? Well never mind. The biometrics stopped working anyway, but it still asks every time I log in if I want to use them. Been using this app for a year now and considering the money involved in the companies using it for study data there's no excuse for functionality worse than a teenager making apps for fun could easily surpass.

As others have mentioned, the biometrics don't work. And the update for the system hasn't worked either. Apparently it's necessary to uninstall and reinstall the app, somewhat frustrating but maybe that will work

The last update broke the biometrics logon, which is an incredible pain, given the password policy (complexity and renewal). After almost two weeks no fix yet (does anyone care with IQVIA ?). Before this issue it was usable, but not particularly user-friendly. Now it has become a hassle (have to use it 3 times/per day). (without the biometrics logon issue 3 stars)

This app is the most painful part of the study I'm in, including the blood draws. Every few months this app starts sending me multiple notifications for messages that aren't there when I got to check. It's super annoying, and when I reach out to tech support they want to call me during business hours, and I don't want to take time from my workday to troubleshoot a medical study app. That being said, it is easy to do my diary so I guess it gets 2 stars.

Really having problems with even submitting "Symptoms Check". Keeps showing it as "To do" even after I've done it like 20 times. The new update has also taken away the chat feature which I think is really needed. It was offline more often than on but when it was I was able to get on and it worked perfectly. It should be brought back.

Update: Now it won't update the ediary, sending a notification every day. Fix it and leave it alone. Quit updating the damn app. None of your updates do anything to actually make the app better and actually break functionality. Every single time you update it disables biometrics, and the password is not stored requiring me to go through the lockout reset every single time. The next update I will simply unistall and inform my group why I have.

I agree with previous reviewers. Since the last app update, the app no longer saves biometric data and forces you to type in Username and Password every time you log in. As a participant in a clinical trial, I log in twice weekly and this is a real inconvenience, especially since the app asks me to enable biometrics every time I log in, which I do to no avail. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app with the same results.

App doesn't actually saves user's session and I have to login again every time. Previous reviewers said its related to biometric but it might be more fundamental than that. Maybe authentication tokens are not being saved or are expiring too soon. Having to login everytime is an awful experience.

Biometrics stops working every day. Update offered, but the link to update does not work. Had to search for iqvia in Google and follow the link to the app store. The update then went through, hopefully fixing the biometrics problem.

I have been using this app during a Covid-19 vaccine study to report symptoms. ETA: 11-21 It notifies me after 8 pm and won't let me enter data before then. Other than that it's very convenient and user friendly. 4/11/22 No notifications. No biometrics. What happened?

App is annoying. Thinking about dropping out of trial just to avoid this app. - Always shows more tasks than really are due - Get texts to do tasks, clunky login to find none due. - Remembers user name but not password. - Forgot password, becomes a constant "remember the last password" game. - The low contrast screens are a PAIN. - The home page selection is very ugly - clunky. - Training tasks just stay on the screen. Can't tell if they are new or leftovers.Must be the first app these guys have ever written
