A "straight to the point" app !! Took 10 seconds to tell me what I needed to know. Didn't care for the answer it gave me, but nonetheless, it didn't make me jump through hoops and watch ads etc to find out if my phone has an IR Blaster. KUDOS TO THE DEVELOPERS FOR DOING JUST WHAT YOU SAY !
Live and learn. Downloading this app and testing my phone for IR literally took less than 10 seconds. I later confirmed with phone manufacturer that this was correct. I came across this app during a very motivated search for a tv remote control. Easily an hour "this time". This was one of several attempts to find an app that worked. I guess I'm pretty stubborn lol. I know Walmart sells univer. remotes. I don't ask for directions either. My son's 10 y/o phone works? Come'on man!

I think something is wrong with this app, it's showing that my device has IR blaster, but I can't find any IR led on top or bottom side of my device. Also the manufacturer company says that this device doesn't have IR blaster. Manufacturer: INFINIX MOBILITY LIMITED Device: INFINIX-X687 (Infinix zero 8)
This app informs you very quickly. I didn't like the answer😭-- but now I know. Thank you.😊 What I don't like is, I checked the app size under "about" before I installed and the size was stated at 1+ MB. I checked the storage on my phone after I installed it and it was 7+ MB. 🤔............
Just tried to test this app with a functional ir enabled phone. This app shows me that it doesnt have ir blaster. Doesnt work. (Re-edit) The developer just replied me and all they say is my phone isn't compatible. If it wasn't how am I able to use other apps to turn off and on stuff with that phone? Worst developers ever who gave me such lazy and louzy reply. Nobody should install this app.
It runs and reports no IR blaster, but does not detect one plugged into power port. Samsung S9.
What's wrong with you, this app run perfectly. You don't have to touch any button to get the result. "Your device doesn't have IR blaster" it say like that, and why you all still click for more info, I think the app already give clear info that your device doesn't have IR blaster, then what more info are you seeking?
I have an AGM Glory Pro that has two IR LEDs. I'm sure this phone could utilize them as a blaster but I have no idea how to force this to work/test. But I'd love to use it as such.
It took less than 5 seconds to load. No ads, just straight to the point! Lovely app. Kudos to the developers!
Like everyone says......crashes after their ad is done. EVERYTIME. And apparently the developer knows because 2 weeks ago they responded to this issue saying they would look into it and guess what? ..... Of course it still crashes. Thanks for nothing and you are doing a fantastic job promoting an imaginary product. Feel free to develop it first, then please try it yourself......more than once, and if successful at executing what you are saying.........then......put a product out there that works
Quick to download and run test. No IR blaster yet web review says my phone does. Should have tested with this before wasting time on ir remotes. Live and learn.
Does what it says on the tin. Easy as ef. My phone doesn't have IR. Fab 😐. Wish it did. Thanks for making the only straightforward app in the multiverse with no BS.
It did exactly what it claimed ! After i tried a few other apps for 2 hrs this app tooj 15 seconds. Thank you to the developers for no bull,shart i wish there were more ppl that were straight up with others.
I don't have an IR blaster. I literally opened the app for a sec and it told me instantly I didn't have one. Good app👍
Well, it told me I had an IR blaster in my phone, and it told me what frequencies it could use. That's all I needed, and that's all I got.
tells me my software is compatible with an ir blaster but my phone has one built in and i know it because i can use my phone to control my tv, help maybe? will give 5 stars if i get help with this or if you tell me what it means? otherwise it works and serves its pourpose
Works as intended. Quick and easy. Ad shown at bottom of the screen. No problem here.
I like the app it's straight to the point. It took 10sec to download and five to ten the test. I did not have a ir blaster 😞 . At less I know.
Does exactly what it says. Why does anyone need more information? The friggin blaster is SIMPLY NOT IN YOUR PHONE. Duh. Of course there's an ad... it's a free app.
unfortunately it's one of those apps that is only needed once per phone & then deleted because it really is a well thought out app... very good job, thank you
Quick painless and heart breaking. It did as advertised and quickly timed me I didn't have an ir blaster.
Class app. Told me what I needed to know, tiny download, worked immediately, almost kept it because it worked but , uninstalled immediately
Does exactly as intended. Open it up, says if you have IR capabilities, end of intended use.
Waste of time like all others have said. Crashes after ad everytime without fail. Its only meant for you to view ad so they can get paid
This Apps ok to test if one's got an IR Blaster in there smartphone but that's all it will do, I Google Searched about IR built in one's smartphone they stopped putting it in many models including my Samsung Galaxy way back in 2018. So no remote control will work via an App on my phone! Best thing to do is search for your model number and buy a new proper remote control, I did it works just fine exact same TV model + Surround sound theater system remote.
