iRemote FREE - iTunes remote

It works when it wants to, but when it does it's fine. It's constantly asking me to reconnect. I've done it like 30-40 times now. They need to fix this ASAP. I wanna be able to open it up without needing to reconnect all the time. It def makes me wanna look for a new app. Also, there's a delay everytime u try to change a song or to a different playlist

Very recently, attempts to pair have been unsuccessful. Itunes detects that iRemote is trying to pair and I can enter the 4-digit code, but then it hangs. I'll happily bump up my rating if this is fixed.

After looking at some other free iTunes remotes, I opted for this one. The setup was fast, iTunes recognized the remote, I typed in the pin, and my phone was ready to control my music. One feature I really enjoy is that it actually used the volume buttons on my phone to control iTunes' volume. This app also wakes up instantly after unlocking the phone unlike some other free options out there. Not quite sure why other people's reviews said their phones locked up after synchronizing with iTunes, but if it helps any of you out there, I installed this app on a Samsung Galaxy Prevail and used it to control iTunes 11.4 (18) on a 2011 27" iMac running Mac OS X Mavericks (10.9.4) and this app works like a charm in said environment. I recommend this app!

Ok, so after messing with it, I finally got it to work. The App writer should really have a tutorial for this, cause my itunes did not "pop up" requesting my pairing key. Their was a little button that showed up that said "remote" on the right top panel of itunes. It blends in so well I never noticed it. clicked it and device conected right away. Great got that figured out. So its extremely slow to open after that. Once it finally opens its slow and sluggish, I closed it and reopened it a few minutes later so slow I had to force stop on it. And this is on My Samsung Galaxy S3, not the fastest but one of the fastest phones on the android market right now. All in all good idea and it looks nice, but not stable... at all. Maybe my itunes library is too big.

The only issue is that you don't have a shortcut widget when screen is locked and you got no art cover for the playing song either the lyrics is not shown on the music. Fix those and I'll rate it a 5

I could never get this app to stay connected. Every time my phone screen went off it disconnected. My phone wasn't asleep. So I had to get up to get my computer MORE OFTEN, which is what this app is supposed to save you from doing. Uninstalling.

The top bar cuts the song title in half horizontally. And then the top half of the title is mirrored. Other than that it works great

Looking forward to the new 'big changes'. Be nice to see the current playing position in a playlist so I know what is next. Ability to update ratings would be good also.

Gets stuck on the Pairing with iTunes screen. Put in 4-digit pin into iTunes, says my remote is now able to control iTunes, app remains unresponsive on the pairing screen.

Has an awesome queue feature which I love but it only works if the app is open! Otherwise it just plays the next song on my iTunes. It would also be nice to have a feature so the app stays on in my notifications bar instead of me having to open it every time. Needs more settings to customize

I have a massive collection with over 10,000 songs. It takes a little while to load but once it loads it works fine. Just need to be patient. I'm using Samsung Galaxy S4 Active.

Wont pair with my notebook, stuck on pairing screen. Totally useless!

Gets stuck at 4 digit sync and then does nothing. Even after typing into iTunes, and iTunes saying its synced the app does nothing. Needs to be fixed...

saw mostly negative reviews but thought id try it anyway, instantly connected to my pc and works great! Couldnt be easier :) controlling my itunes while im in the bath, thanks for this awesome app.

It works just fine, my only wish is that they would have a spot in the pull down notification window so you don't have to keep finding the app. Oh and it also needs a Now Playing button so you don't lose your spot in a playlist

Downloaded and opened and it crashes everything so can't use it

It's completely free and does the basic function needed, so I can't complain

I use itunes on windows 7. Iremote button did not appear on itunes when trying to connect for first time. Restart itunes while trying to connect from android to have the "remote" appear on itunes window top right side.

I have no problems using this, it's better than the original Remote app for iPhone.

The only problem that is annoying is that on the galaxy s4, the name of the song is cut in half, missing the bottom half of names/letters. Please fix this for s4, and this will be an amazing app.

Itunes 10.6.3.25 on the s3. Connected straight away, free, good effort how can i complain! Big thanks to the developers, now i can control my xmas playlist from the comfort of my sofa!

All it does is loop to the password over and over again.

Not very use friendly, there is no decent media library, strange design, and the cue doesn't work. It always says it's empty. Try "Remote for iTunes" instead.

Just got this, and it works really well. Looks very fluid, lots of wooshing (is that a word?) effects. Connects almost immediately. Does what it says it'll do. Plus, it's free. Can't argue with that.

I liked the part where this app has no tutorial whatsoever.

Works great with my Mac ITunes. Very simple to pair.

Worked great for months. Now doesn't even connect
