We've had our Iris smart home for over 3 years now and have had minimal issues. I love having it paired to Alexa and having lights on timers is great too! Our collection consists of light switches, smart plugs, door sensors, indoor cameras, a schlage door lock and the garage door opener accessory. The biggest problem we experience is the garage door opener stops reporting and needs to be reset when the weather gets cold. The below 0 Minnesota temps are the culprit of that issue. I would recommend this product!

Poor connection I have had a smart switch for about a year today i decided to add another one and the app will not pair the new smart switch. I spent 35 minutes on the phone with customer service and they walked me through the steps I had already taken. Their only comment was it sometimes can take a while to connect. I have attempted to pair the new device all afternoon and was never successful. update finally gotnit to work had to use a diffet phome to pair it wouls kot pair with Pixel II XL.

Great app! Very intuitive and easy to use. Support is friendly and professional. My biggest complaint is it takes awhile to figure out how to set it up. Had to call support, but luckily there was an actual person to resolve installation issues. Overall, great system and app.

The app is improving. The individual links with their functions are starting to be more responsive. I'm seeing less hub crashes than we have had. I wish that I could run thing's from my desktop also, as I could in the past.

I bought IRIS for my vacation home. The hub randomly falls off line and it is not possible to fix it from the app, I have to travel to my 2nd home. This defeats the whole purpose of the app. When it works it's great...but I've found it to be unreliable.

this app as well as some of the components of the security hardware we're only partially functional. and now as of March 31 lows is discontinuing Iris and I've got a better system, FrontPoint, which has purely Cellular communications which is more secure than iris's Wi-Fi. &FrontPoint ships the system with every everything basically installed. all the owner has to do is mount everything. much Superior system to Iris.

it works, but it's not a high-end product. Both the hardware and software have improved over time, but better and faster response would be beneficial, as well as more seeing options, and the monthly fee for enabling rules makes this an average product.

I had some issues setting up my account as the app and web site versions kept referring me to the each other to finish the process. It took a few calls with customer service to resolve the problem. They were knowledgeable and quickly resolved the problem.

I have the system set up, no thanks to the missing and brief instructions. I tried to buy an Iris Camera, but the store couldn't find one even though their computer said they had one. I wanted to buy 3 light control plugs and was excited that they were on sale. When I asked for a price check they said they weren't on sale I showed them the item and price on my phone and they said they had one, but couldn't find it. I patiently waited as they check stores nearby where that specific item was supposed to be there and every one ended not being found. I left empty handed. Sigh!

It was finally stable and working well for us, and so we were expanding and looking to install in a future (second) home.. and then you pull the plug on us with only a 60 day notice.. Thanks for turning our smart home into a dumb home and pulling our security blanket out from under us.. ultimately, the biggest let down of all Lowe's

The only major issue that I have had is that sometimes the app will make me login using my username and password. Since I have a few hundred of these for every different website and app, I have to look it up which takes a few minutes. This is not what anybody wants if the alarm is going off at your house.

I have had Iris security since the beginning, I really don't have any issues or concerns. I would like to add more components to my system, but the price of items are expensive. And I would like to see more items compatible with IRIS from Lowe's.

The original hub had a great feature were it would let you know if the power or internet was cut off immediately. The new hub lets you know if internet is down after a while. It provided an extra layer of security

I really only use the app for viewing the camera, which we have in the baby's room. It works very well, I am able to use the finger print access integrated with my phone. I can view the camera from anywhere, not just at home

Works Great. i have the wifi outdoor plug & its connected to the LED lighting in my koi pond. so easy to use . only took minutes to set up. now i dont have to go out in the rain to turn the pond lights on. i can sit in my recliner & do it all. im in lowes parking lot now so i can go buy some more of the devices. GREAT STUFF

Fantastic app/set up. Enjoying it very much, along with it being 0retty easy to use and being as straight forward the user pane is. Have thought about upgrading my service to professional security and see how well that handles.

Absolutely love it. Its extremely easy to use and being able to use it remotely is just amazing. We don't have to come into a dark house and I feel safer because it looks like some one is always home. We haven't had any issues with it. Great great app!!!

Like the peace of mind it gives me when I'm out. I would like to see a faster app response some times the app hangs up between switching from cell to wifi phone connections and wont connect till you reboot app.

Great setup, sad to see it go. Iris was one of a kind - home automation and monitored home security system in one. Was super useful and a great intro into the home automation world for me. Thank you for your hard work devs!
