Just finished my first year of Irish and start my second year in a few weeks. This has been an extremely helpful app.
Very best of a bad bunch of irish language apps. Ps pay the 65p and get rid of the adverts!!!
So far it's easy to use. I need it for pronunciation. Does the job.

When you put in a word in English you should be able to speak it in Gaelic also it doesn't

Complete garbage. Gaelic pronunciation is so for off as to be funny and the translations are just wrong Obviously some bad machine language tool for English pronubciation being used for Irish Gaelic whose sounds are very different than English. Would award a zero if I could.
Helpful and easy to use
Good range of words but inaccurate Irish pronunciation-so not helpful.
Only app that lets me type in an Irish word an lets me hear it said back to me.
Terrible, even simple words pronounced completely wrong in all three dialects.
I'm still learning Irish, but I already noticed that the pronounce is way too different from the native. It's something like an English speaker is trying to pronounce it with a Italian accent. So confusing! You could improve it if you hire a native speaker to pronounce the words. For now, I'm only using this app as a dictionary, because it's impossible to guide my pronounce with it.
Ads randomly popping up are annoying as are it's lack of Irish examples but it has a huge lexicon to call upon, which makes it my go-to Irish dictionary app.
