iRock Radio

The app sometimes can be glichy. The songs on the app don't always update to reflect what is playing on the station. I still gave it 5 stars because I use the app for the music, not the features. I absolutely love this station. New music, classics and awesome DJs. I never start my morning without it.

UI is a bit basic and could use a bit more art I think. Yeah its iRock but without the logos it looks like a generic radio player app with text. When i see it i feel like im looking at just a playlist and ads. Thats all. Should add a few optional settings to customize the app with features. Needs something to attract people that like graphical apps. Maybe add things that catch the eye like a vu meter. Or a boombox face UI. That way feels like im listening to the radio. Otherwise good. tripl C🤘

I'm so happy to have my long time rock station back but the app makes me insane. The music is constantly shutting off for no reason, midsong. Can someone please fix this problem? Its annoying af! You would have gotten 5 stars if the app wasn't so glitchy!!

Earlier bugs seem to be fixed, mostly works great on my Galaxy S9. Doesn't always show the song playing, and I wish the podcast titles were a little easier to read, but that's it...

Needs a quit or exit button. Only way to close app is too force close it. Update 8/15/17 They added an exit option now! Will give the app another try now. Can vouch for the stability as of yet.

Audio drops repeatedly- almost every song on android.

App used to be great but now won't open on my iPhone 4s. Before that it would freeze or just close. What's up ?!! FIX IT !!!

Would be great if the song request feature actually worked, I get an error message saying unable to submit at this time. Last update to the app was July so I'm not if the devs just gave up or aren't listening to the audiences complaints

I did like this app, then they added a biased news feed. Don't need that mixed in with my music. I'll go elsewhere.

I love everything about this app and iRockRadio!

I love the station. The music and the people are awesome. They support local music and promote a ton of shows. BUT... this app. This app is f'n awful. I have it on my Galaxy S6 and my iPhone 5S. On both platforms, the music just stops. No discernable reason. Whether I'm on Wi-Fi or cellular doesn't make a difference. The music stops, the app crashes. It's beyond frustrating. Please, please, please fix this app. I've submitted several feedback reports when this happens and so far, no change. I'd give it 5 stars if you can stop the crashes!

I'm not a big fan of internet based radio, but I downloaded this app as soon as I found it. In fact, this is the only radio app I have installed. The music and staff are great and also the limited amount and time for commercial breaks is a plus. When WCCC switched their format to classic rock several years ago it left a huge void for new rock being played on the radio in CT. Then they went off the air completely and my favorite station was no more. I haven't had any problems with this app crashing or pausing on its own like some others have, so to me it's almost perfect. The only thing that it's lacking is the ability to pause or resume playback from the notification bar and lock screen. If it had these capabilities I would have rated it 5⭐️, and I still will if this functionality is added in the future. Great app otherwise. Samsung Galaxy Note 5, T-Mobile data connection only, no WiFi.

Hate the fact that im listening to the stream and then i lose the streaming and then get error messages from then on. Love the music and djs but the app itself is pretty bad

Basically the remains of WCCC on the internet with limited breaks and good music.

Great music, but incredibly buggy app. I'm running it on my Nexus 6 and the constant lags are horrible! Usually just pausing and resuming playback fixes the lag, but at least once every time I use it, I get stuck needing to force quit.

Loved WCCC when I lived in CT and was sad when they shut down. iRock radio is what rose from the ashes of WCCC and it is awesome!

iRock Radio plays the best rock music with interviews and live performances from the biggest names in Rock music. Awesome station all around and some of the best DJs in the business!
