Iron Browser - by SRWare

It was a good browser, I have been using the browser with the Windscribe vpn since I first downloaded it. About a week ago I was using it (with the vpn like I always do) but the browser wouldn't work. I got a screen saying that I had to check my connection. I checked my wifi connection everything. It won't work with my vpn in regular mode or incognito. I've checked SRWare forums and sent an email to support and no response. This is my last resort. I'll update my review if the problem is resolved

Good and stable browser. Please implement adblock. Main major problem is Gmail view. Very terrible view like old opera desktop browser Gmail. Very difficult to navigate. Speed and stability has no comparison. Excellent browser. Thank You.

Would love to be able to sign in to get all my bookmarks. Right now I keep getting "user account already exists" when trying to log in. Lost one more star because Updated version keeps crashing when there are videos. When are you going to fix it? It's very annoying.

Great for privacy, but needs improvement. I appreciate this alternative to Chrome that syncs. Sharind isn't enabled. I recently clicked on an ad in Youtube, but I had no option to share the link to Iron Browser. One search engine I would like to see added is Startpage. Com

One of the best Chrome forks out there. Fast, can use Google Chrome addons, pure stripped down Chrome with bloatware removed. Used it for years on my pc, phones, and tablets. Using the Iron Browser along with Firefox is great for researching too. When Firefox is heavy on ram(10+ tabs) I open the Iron browser and can open 100 tabs lol. Try this one and definitly consider making it your main browser. It was suggested to me by a privacy subreddit years ago and I've been happy with it ever since.

The browser is great and blocks Google's extra permissions well. But there is only one small problem, it would be better if the browser comes with an internal AdBlock (like adblock plus). Please note this in later editions Run in the browser.

Can't sign in to my account, just tells me that I'm already signed in on the device - which is both obvious and meaningless. Really like it on PC, and want to keep supporting the project, but if I can't share me settings & bookmarks between phone & PC then I'm not going to continue using iron

Somwthing was off. Win asked mi two sign in two a email it claimed i was sign in. And it repeatively ask every few minutes about my other emails asking for permissions. Not good. It seemed alright. At first once initalized permission under the right email. Buuuuut it kept right on asking. Like i had not already done so. My person thought more of this browser would have more personality as a different browser app. But showed up as just bad.

I use this browser on my desktop, but the mobile version does not allow sign in/sync. It's is very difficult to sign in in the first place (requires clearing cache, restarting, etc), and once singed in, it's is still impossible to sync. Very disappointed.

It's OK. But being used to browsers on laptop, have not figured out how to add things like night mode (white text black background) or any security/privacy related add-ons. I don't know if this is my ignoramus with Android or if it is an omission by srware.

I can't sign in this browser with my current Google Account on my Huawei. When I deleted this Google Account from my device and started to log into Iron Browser again - the same error! It has created my Account and written "This Account already exists". For me the possibility to sync my browser history and password is essential. In this browser it is impossible. So I will return back to Chrome browser. At least it doesn't have such critical errors.

Great browser but it does not have any functions to export/import Bookmarks, the Sync doesn't even works, neither any ability to View Source Code of the pages. Also a bug, the counting number for Tabs, only shows well upto 99 tabs, once it's 3 digit count, then it does not show properly, the square box which tab count shows in it, does not expand when the tab counts becomes 3 digit !!!

Good browser. But on Android 10, getting constant notifications "Permission requested" for my Google accounts. I don't want Iron to sync with those Google accounts, and there are no settings in Iron to prevent such strange requests.

Great browser for a desktop/laptop. But it is impossible to sign into the Android version. The following error message is received: "This account already exists on your device." Tried every suggestion on the web without resolve. Uninstalling and going to try out TOR or similar now.

Iron just went from five stars to one star for me. Worked great up until a few months ago. Now it crashes every time. Screen starts flashing, can't do anything. No updates available.

bookmark sync for pc and mobile does not work which is very important. I installed the pc version and then android version on my phone. Was asked to enter my email (gmail) address to sync but there was a messae 'this account already exists' which ia funny because it was supposed to exist. Got stucked in the process, will uninstall my pc and android iron browser.

web page for watching movies, still can redirect and post pop-ups. no better then any other browser to honest. still no better then the standard chrome built into Android.

iron is was a great browser until last update. Now it cannot play in-place video on android 9.. the developer has been saying 'fix in progress' since May. Unusable for news.

Thanks for the update. Everything is fine except for deleting the lite mode feature. Kindly, bring it back.

Could be better. I couldn't sign in to my Google account for one. Also would like support for adblocking, and a HTTPS everywhere style feature would be nice. Would also like to see Giga Blast, Swisscows, & Search Encrypt search support. Atleast SRWares heart is in the right place.

FINALLY, a browser that works !!!!! This is fast, all the functions that I use actually work, videos play, sites open great. Very impressed!!!!

Great browser, I also use it on PC for long time, BUT the sign in problem is annoying. Can't sync bookmarks with desktop version

I'm sitting there on Facebook, everything stops loading so I refresh to suddenly be logged out I log back in and out just reloads the login page. Connot login. Please fix Edit: can't accept etransfers too..

This app is fast, simple design and ease access but {(request) please make it continuous desktop mode in setting mode )} for this rate is 70% Recommended for try it :) Thanks SRWARE

SRWare Iron has always been my favorite browser, and now that there has finally been an update, I again give you 5 stars! (please make an Apple IOS version, please please please -- because I have both Android and Ios)
