I can confirm that this APP works with the LG V40 Thinq Sprint Edition (2018). Now I need to find either a better IR LED or a stronger voltage source for the IR dongle... The LED is very dim, but works through the headphone jack... I'm not aure if there is a way to increase the maximum volume of Android 9.0, but I can confirm that this APP works on my phone.
Absolutely great remote app!! Probably the best and only one that works reliably. One great feature would be to be able to adjust the carrier frequency down to as low as 28.8Khz this would be useful for testing lasertag equipment that uses that type of frequency. :-) :-)
EXCELLENT APP & PROGRAMMING, It worked as soon as I hooked up a IR(LED)bulb from an old remote control to a stripped headphone jack into my audio jack, the beam isn't very strong though, may be because the bulb is tiny compared to a regular remote control bulb. Will try a larger LED later. or the voltage going to my headphone jack isn't high enough. I used IR Remote Tester by Wonder Tech Studio to check any IR remote or IR blaster, got it off the Google Play Store. ๐๐๐Thanks !!!
FINALLY! MY IR BLASTER WORKS! I'm using a Lenovo Smart Tab and with 3.5 mm IR adapter plug and it works perfectly with this app. It even turns the screen upside down for me!
So for all you one star folks . Do this app and the people that put all the work and time into it justice double check that your ir transistor (bulbs) are correct it took me 3rd time before I got it correct works perfect since so don't blame the app till your 110 percent sure it's not your error.
Best modification option, I can modify remote button and make a modified remote for any devices best app and it has also backup file for a specific remote thank u very much
Works perfectly with 3.5mm IR. Manual recommend me zaza remote however zaza doesn't work. This app is perfect life saver, otherwise i would throw the 3.5mm ir blaster in thrash. Thank you developers!
My phone doesn't even have an IR blaster๐.....edit, apologies I'll take that back and give it 5 stars for u calling me out in a nice way ๐ kindness goes a long way.
The best remote control for external ir blaster (led attached to 3.5mm audio jack), just need more models
Nice buh please the led light remotes do not work with my led light. Update it for us. Thanks
just got it, so still trying to figure it out but it seems pretty straight forward when you Google what you dont know.
This is great I need more models I have a konka TV, an ITec and Samsung please I'll love their code models. How can we achieve this
Simply does ๐ก๐ข๐ง work. Bought USB-C I.R. Blaster for a Note 8. It works with other apps, not this one.
its may be a bit complicated for usual users but indeed useful app if you know how to configure it
Could have more stuff listed (Sony's PS4, Sony older TV's (KDL-32EX650))
I honestly didnt know what i expected to happen. Apps like this (I've used like 4) dont work. But this one. The absolute worst of them.
Great, although there is no option for proscan TV's
Developer was very helpful but then stopped responding to my messages.
What Great App Not To Mention Refreshing Ones Memory Or Educating Basic Infrared And Old School Type Wireless Communication l
It did work with my old Sanyo hifi and Samsung TV
The best IR remote for android so far
Can't use for Voltas AC. My friend is using it on ios with za za app
Hotta start somewhere Probably very difficult for average joe
don't have Toshiba - CT 90428 :'(
useless on older tvs
No yasuda company fan and tv ir code pls fixed and update it
It just works! Thank you!
I use WAVE for remote power control projects requiring absolute reliability. There are few competing apps for blasters that let me use my phone's audio port for IR. WAVE is better than the rest. Terrific, well-designed software. The developer knows his stuff. With built-in IR blasters getting scarcer every year, the audio-jack option is a godsend. Minimal advertising. Short and clear instructions. It would be a terrific deal even if weren't free. The easiest 5 stars I've ever given. Worth 7.
