Absolutely love Drogo and his story! Just wish it didn't cost anything to replay chapters once you pay to play them the first time..
Art is great, writing is great - just prepare to have it drip fed to you from an eyedropper if you don't want to pay up. Having to pay for a story isn't a bad thing in itself, but the energy goes so quickly that the prompts become annoying. The UI is serviceable but feels kinda cheap and doesn't match the game's visual style. However, I am enjoying playing an otome-style game where your choices are actually two different things and not just a choice between saying "yeah" and "yes".
The animation is great but not enough daily energy is given to keep me interested. That coupled with the awful writing left me disappointed. Like many in this series, there are typos, awkward phrases, and tense switching in nearly every written line. When I reported it, I was asked to provide screenshots. But it's literally every frame. They obviously did not hire a qualified proof reader and hoped no one would notice.
Love the game! The graphics were really good. There were a few things that weren't consistent with Season 1 and Season 2. Like they mention something and then it mentioned again as if it was the 1st time the player has heard about it. Also, the cost expensive if you play constantly. They do help you with free points but there is a certain amount a day (still grateful). Anyway, looking forward to Season 3.
I wish there was more energy points for the game. It's frustrating to read a few lines then your out of energy. Also im having an issue with accessing the unlocked secret scenes in the album. For some reason, I can only get up to the chapter 9 season 2 scene. When i continue to try and swipe over to the next scene it slides part of the way and then boots me back to the previous photo or won't even move at all. Other than those issues i enjoy the story a lot and the art work is amazing.
Was loving this story until i realized that the energy runs out so quickly. It takes far too many points (10 pts to be exact) for every slide. Maybe instead of taking 10 points for each slide, make it 1 point? Honestly that sounds more reasonable than anything else. I have no problem spending money on story games, but $3.99 for points that are going to run out as quick as they do.. i would rather spend my money on another story game where i can progress through a whole chapter each day.
The energy runs out so quickly and you get only enough for maybe two minutes at the most. If it weren't for this reason I would rate it higher as it is an amazing and compelling story which keeps you interested throughout, as well as having incredible artwork/design. I would ask if the developers of this app would kindly increase the daily amount of energy to a more fair quantity to allow a bit more time to immerse ourselves in this amazing story. Thank you for your time.
This would be a good app but you only start with 300 energy and it doesn't regain overtime. You only get it once a day and then a little mini game like a 130 more but every line takes 10 energy even if it's a one word!! Also the app is full of ads. The only real plus of this game is the graphics are really good. I haven't gotten far in the story because it's way too annoying to only read like 30 lines every day.
I like the story and also how it is picturized. The scenes, characters are all very well represented. I would have rated it a 5 star but the problem is energy. I guess more energy to read the story should be provided. Or more adds can be added so we can earn more of them. But I am rating it a 2 star just because of the energy. Lack of it makes the story boring as I remain stuck at one chapter for a long time.
As much as I love the art and story, I get incredibly frustrated over the gameplay and will likely quit if it doesn't get better. You can read a max of 43 frames for free each day. It may sound like a lot, but when they are 1-5 words per frame I get entirely frustrated. It takes over three days to get through one scene. I've spent money on the app Choices, but can't bring myself to for this.
I love this developer. The story is engaging and hooks you right from the beginning. I hate the low amount of stamina, only because I get so drawn into the story that when it suddenly ends it seems too abrupt lol. We should be allowed to read at least a little bit more than they allow with the free energy. I do recommend this for anyone who loves interactive stories!!
I honestly love this game honestly, everything about the art, music and storyline is perfect, but as one of the most popular is it love games, updates need to be added. I gave it 2 stars because of the way your energy waste of easily. It'd be such an amazing experience if we could continue the story with no energies or get 100 or more energies and each tap minus 1 energy, not 10. Please fix this problem and I'll fix my rating. Please do not reply and say you'll fix it, but you don't!
It's has a very good story line.. but the issue I have and see many others struggling with is the low energy. You have to wait all day just to play 2 minutes of the story which is absolutely ridiculous. And it's been that way for a while so they dont seem to want to change that feature. Also, the only place you can click is inside the little box with the text. if you try to click to get to the end of the words, itll pop up choices and I accidentally hit a choice that I dont want
The story is wonderful, but I HATE how little energy you get. I read quickly and can use up all of the energy in a single minute. I'd honestly recommend that they change the energy recharge system. Whether it's 300 energy every 4 hours, or rid the energy all together and make it into chapters. If something doesn't give soon I'll honestly just stop reading because I don't have the patience for it.
It's an interesting story but the tiny amount of energy and the ever increasing amount of ads is making it almost unplayable. Want to start playing? He's an ad. Want to look at the menu? Here's an ad first. You said no to watching an ad to get 30 energy (which only does maybe 1 more line of dialogue)? Here's an ad. It's really annoying. It's extremely rare to get a special scene without paying and if you do pay but run out of energy you'll never see it.
I love everything about this game, from how I can choose how the story progresses, to how the characters interact with one another and the beautiful graphics but I do agree with others that the energy needs to be refilled faster. I would understand waiting for 2-3 hours for full energy but 24 hours is more than most other games I play. If you were to change that one feature I would give it a full 5 stars.
I seriously just downloaded to state I refuse to play some thing that you have to wait forever to finish a story. After reading the reviews, and all the complaints about the energy there is no way I'd waste my time trying to play. I'd be interested in the game. But I'm not blowing money on buying energy when you could just as easily set it up so we can watch ads for more energy....now I'm uninstalling.
So the story seems pretty good so far, but the energy system seems a little slow. I understand this restriction, however, I ope Ed my app today and despite my screen working perfectly fine. I could not tap to start the game. No matter what I clicked on it just wasn't working. I uninstalled and reinstalled but that still didn't fix the problem. I would appreciate it if you could fix this in the next update.
I adore this game, and the ones with the other Bartholy brothers. The only issues I have is that it is so hard to get the secret scenes unlocked without money. I think out of the three games I've gotten like 2 unlocked without having to pay. I've tried walkthroughs, I've tried going with my gut I've tried everything and can't seem to get them. Lastly, would be nice if there were events held every now and again to get extra energy, as the grind is slow if you do have the money to buy energy.
I recently downloaded this game on my phone, because I enjoyed playing it on my old iPad. But on the I pad, if kept randomly glitching and without pressing the screen, it would make choices or skip parts. It completely wrecked a secret scene for me like that. It still is frustrating with the low energy levels, but has fantastic graphics and a well thought out and written story plot over all.
This game is amazing. I just have one complaint and that is energy... I have been playing this game for a year now i think, and I'm not even half through the game. I also haven't played the game for a month due to frustration of the small amount of energy you get. It's 10 energy per sentence, you get 300 energy every day plus the minigame and an ad (120) and another ad (20) so that's 440, still really small amount... Also there are secret scenes in the game thus you have to make correct choices (which i didn't because there wasn't any walkthrough when i started this game, but now you have and i strongly suggest you follow that walkthrough). My point is the game is really long, with small amount of energy you will get nowhere. I really want to start the game over again so that i can make the right choices amd view the secret scenes but it's a really long story and i won't be able to finish the game in another year...
This has potential but seriously aggravated that the energy costs so much per page. 300 energy per day plus the mini game "bonus" lasts less than 3 minutes of read time per 24 hours! Unless you want to buy energy. 1000 for roughly 10 bucks and I doubt that would last to finish it. Ouch. That's too expensive, in my opinion, for a digital story. Beautiful graphics though. Unfortunately I'm too cheap to pay for energy, so uninstalling after 2nd day and getting no where.
This is basically a visual novel. The story is slightly appealing but not so much as to spend hundreds of [money] on it. Otherwise you only get to read about 10 sentences each day. The way energy is spent on text progression doesn't make any sense. There's no way to read what you ALREADY read again. In addition, I lost my progress. Awful experience. Read a real visual novel where you pay 10 [money] once and get to read the whole thing any time you like.
The story so far is very addicting the graphics are beautiful. I would love to gather more energy with out having to wait 5 hours per video. If not more e6per video than maybe more videos with less of a wait time. Not to mention the 6 times I clicked to watch a video for 30 energy and as soon as the video ended I didnt get the energy (any of the 6xs). Some of us cant afford to pay to play.
As much as I'm enjoying the game, it and every game in this series has a major flaw. Broken energy mechanics. Your 300 daily energy barely gets you through a handful of dialogue, takes 24 hrs to recharge, and you can only do the minigame for more once per day. Even watching ads for more is limited to once per 5 hours. So, as much as I like this series, if you want to progress quickly, you have to dump a lot of money into it.
The plot and the caracters are very interesting. But the lack of energy is so frustrating. You have to wait 24 hours to get 300 energy and it doesn't even last for more than 10 minutes. The editors have to put atleast 300 energy per 3/4 hours. I started playing it for like a month and I'm still in the 1st chapter.
