This game has potential to be very addicting, but its impossible to really get into the story without paying tons of money. From all the reviews I've read and (trying to) play the game it would seem the creators dont plan to fix the problem with energy usage. The amount of time it takes to reload the energy and the cost to buy just enough to read an extra 3 minutes is ridiculous. I have attempted to play quite a few Is it love games and they all are garbage when it comes to the energy.

Great story, but you can't stop a reader after 5 minutes from proceeding with the annoying "out of energy!" Gag. This can cause the reader to forget what the main points on the story are, not to mention the story makes you really want to read on! I agree with all the other reviews objecting the cost of energy, and when you read it, you're literally hooked to the story. I enjoy reading all the "Is It Love" stories, but the energy really annoys me, and tempts you to spend actual money. Fix that!

I liked the idea of the story line, it was all going well. And all of a sudden my 300 energies had disappeared just like that, within 10 minutes of downloading the game. I couldnt continue with the story for another day. The menu had a free 600 energies to collect for starting the game, so I managed to use them, but those ran out faster than the 300 energies did! How ridiculous. It wants you to spend money. I'd say the game really wasnt worth all the hassle. I would of loved to play it longer..

I really do like these games, the art style, the stories. I does lag sometimes and the wait time for energy is 24 hours or you can pay for it. Sometimes it will offer that you watch an add for like, 20 to 30 energies with what you win from the mini game so you can only get so far in the game. It's really the story that keeps me interested.

I really like the story so far and the graphics are good too. Love the supernatural vibe, too. But I do have one thing that bugs me: The 300 points you use to play. There's way too little to use, 500 would even be better than what we're given. you get five to eight clicks then you have to wait a whole day. Even with the minigame and watching ads for points, it's not enough. I understand you want to earn money, but I'm not paying $49 for points. Please fix this

it's great. only thing is, is that you run out of energy way too fast. just as you get into the story you have no more energy even playing the mini game does not help as your energy does not last. and you can only continue the following day. other than that it has great graphics. story line is great. just would like to play longer to see more.

love the game! jst wish i didn't have to spend money to play more. it's very addicting, but not to the point where i'd pay to play more than 5 minutes. which is all the time you seem to have before your energy runs out. it would be cool if yo can watch ads more often, or have more mini games to get energy. great came, concept, and characters though!

1. theres loading icon in every, literally every time you click the text. I never encounter this in any visual novel, pc and mobile. weird. 2. 10energy for 1text is absurd. Not to mention this is a visual novel, which is contain a lot of filler. 3. The graphics are gooood. 4. the ui is too simple, far too simple to match the georgeous graphic. at this point I really think this game is just about to sell the energy. with you getting the bonus of pretty picture and some story. not the way around.

I love this game and the others like Drogo and Ryan, but getting through them is really expensive. 300 energy a day does nothing. And when I had problems, support backtracked me and I lost that energy I paid for. I asked them to credit me the energy and Anna avoided the subject and just would not. If you charge $10 or maybe even $20 up front for the game and not have to buy energy or scenes, I'm sure a lot more people would be willing to buy it. Otherwise it's just an extremely overpriced book.

Was interested in the story line, but you have made it far too boring with how little progress you make with the amount of energy used. I understand you want people to spend money but this is too much. Having to wait 24hours to play again, with no timer to know how long to wait plus adds popping up every time i look at the menu, ridiculous! I can deal with adds and wait times for free games but you are clearly targeting people who can afford to waste money on games like this :(

I enjoy this game up to the graphics, storyline, amazing art, and characters. The only thing that I'm not such a fan of is the energy system. It really makes it hard to get far in the game without purchasing anything. Im fine with buying anything to support the game, but its really hard to go through without.

This game starts out okay. It's a good concept for a game. However, you don't know when and where you use your energy. You can't even finish the first chapter without running out of energy and having to wait for more. In order to find out when you're getting more (without paying, of course) you have to search for it in the Menu under Support which I found accidentally. It's all very ridiculous for a very basic and standard game like this. There are much better games to play out there.

I love the story and the characters. I'd give this 5 stars as soon as they fix the problem with the special scene in chapter 4. My game keeps trying to load up a blank screen and I can't finish the chapter. Please fix this! I want to continue reading this story. :( I uninstalled and reinstalled this game 5 times trying to get it to work.

It's a real shame that we can't store energy and save it for later so that we can play a whole chapter at once and not just a few lines per day. Good game, nice graphics and storyline, energy saving options VERY disappointing. Because of them I just uninstalled a good story.

Ver. R. Jun 11, 2019

A few problems . 1) You never know how much energy you actually have. 2) You never know how much energy you actually spend. 3) Very money hungry game, cant get anywhere in the game at all without a ton of cash ready to throw at this app. 4) Saved up to close to 1,600 energy used it up within about fifteen frames. (aka text you click) would not recommend unless your willing to spend money on something that may not be certain ( feels like a dishonest game/ company)

This is very boring game, like Blue swan, without emotions... The same sentences repeatedly 100000 times. The latest games have become very boring. Adam is terribly boring, I did not even read Ryan for the second season, I stopped at the first season. Several times the same sentences in the game, pay for a boring story? It's easier to buy a book for $5 on Amazon and read. Very razacharovanna games. If Daryl will be boring, then delete all the games. There are many other interesting stories.

Ilu. S. Aug 27, 2019

Sad, seems like an interesting story but I'll never find out. It's ridiculously expensive to buy it and read it and I was stupid enough to spend £100 on Drogo game. And you could buy 10 books for that money. So I thought I'd give it a try without paying this time, been played over 2 weeks now and still on chapter 1 as you only get up to 460 points maximum. Boring and I've lost an interest now. Deleted, well done! There are better apps like "Moments" that don't force you to spend money.

Sar. C. May 15, 2020

As others have pointed out; the energy system is ridiculous. You loose 10 energy each time you tap the screen to bring up the next dialogue box. Watch an add for 20 energy? So you can tap the screen twice more and its gone. Good story idea, horrible system.

I played for maybe 10 min & uninstalled. The storyline seemed interesting & I wanted to play, but the creator is obviously greedy. 100 energy points lasts maybe 2 min & then boom, you're out of energy & need to purchase more. It doesn't give you ways to keep earning energy, or only use energy during high energy activities, like fights, but uses your energy quickly, as you're reading & forces you to dig deep into your wallet, if you want to continue the story.

Lly. Jul 22, 2019

I got a new phone. apparently that means I have to email the studio several times in a 2 week span and hear nothing and just use my old phone in WiFi if I want to play. and the 30 lines of text a day hardly makes for an engrossing story. I'm not paying 100$ to read a story, especially one you have to pay to replay.

The 'energy' which you need to progress through the game becomes used up in minutes and then you have no option but to buy it, or stop playing the game and come back to it the next day. Only to play for a few minutes and then stop again. Shame because the graphics are good and the story looks like it could actually go somewhere.

Mis. C. Oct 7, 2019

The story is okay, I didn't make it past chapter 1 before uninstalling it. Which is why it gets two stars. However energy goes too fast! I used my free 600 energy and within just a few clicks it is gone. Unless you are prepared to spend your entire paycheck just for a chapter or two; I would suggest looking elsewhere.

PNK. S. Sep 27, 2019

The storyline and graphics are really good but too money hungry..... I feel like with every dialogue between characters you have a choice on what to decide to do or agree with.... And it uses soo much energy just for that minor banter about how the food taste... Or how you feel about something.... I feel like it waste time on the actual story at hand.... Just soo you can spend actual money for a slow story build up.... On other games like this it wouldn't had taken that long....

Bla. Jun 13, 2019

exciting story and great art. the only issue is energy. and I'm not talking about having to pay for more, it's more like I'm unsure how much energy is taken up when playing and it's quite annoying having a popup saying I have no more energy left out of no where. there just needs to be a better energy bar.

Ire. B. Jan 22, 2020

It is my most favorite game from the "Is It Love?". The well-written plot, awesome characters, really nice soundtrack, and just GREAT graphics and atmosphere. Thank you for doing such a great job. Upd: It's seriously TOO expensive. And developers weren't really honest about the whole "free will" concept. No matter which guy you prefer and which answer you pick - the story won't really change. #TeamZac

Mar. B. Jul 23, 2021

The storyline is engaging, but the dialogues are quite flat. I also really don't like the current energy system. It doesn't get you far, maybe 5 mins of play a day, and it is way too expensive to purchase more for what it gives you. For £4+ you'll only get maybe an additional 15 mins of reading tops, which is really nothing! You can buy a whole book for this amount of money. I'm all for supporting apps and paying for people's work, but this app's prices are way too much for what you get.

A.. M. Jun 22, 2019

Like every other game they have it's absolutely aggravating. Thought I'd try this one out. It just reminded me why I deleted all the other games they have. You only get 300 energy so that means 30 lines even if it's one word, so I can't even really tell you if the story is any good because its way too irritating reading 30 lines a day and their so-called minigame is just as annoying as the game itself, no point to it at all. It's random shuffling of cards.

Str. A. Apr 8, 2020

The loading takes too long and only after 4 clicks how does 300 energy get used up?! I can't even get into the story cause I always have to short video or wait. The storyline this is going for seem interesting at least. Advice for the programmers is work on the game play.
