I scanned a Kelloggs frosted krispies and it said it was gluten free well it is not gluten free, there is malt flavor which has gluten, malt is made from barley
I scanned Kraft Mac & Cheese just to check the accuracy of the app, it said it was gluten free! It clearly states on the box it has wheat in it, (duh the noodles) I am uninstalling.
This app is not accurate! I scanned kraft macaroni and cheese and it said it was gluten free which is obviously not true it clearly says on the label it contains wheat. I even scanned bread and it came back as gluten free. I suffer from celiac disease this app needs some serious fixes
Dangerous app for gluten sensitive and celiacs. Many "safe" results when testing wheat products.
The way it is setup is a little awkward. The search button should be on the right, after searching difficult to tell if the product is actually gluten free or just a thumbs up that it was found.
Scanned cookies...said they were gluten free. First ingredient listed was flour. Uninstalling.
I really like the idea of this app, however, it's just not what it should be. In order to scan food, you have to download a separate app, then reopen this app, then scan the food. It successfully scanned 1 of 5 items at Wal-Mart. The rest I had to manually enter. Once entered, you have to choose the site to search. For the 1 item scanned, the first option said safe, the second brought up a strange advertisement, and the third is just Google web search, which showed the item did in fact contain gluten.
Hamdy app. Not perfect but easy to use.

The scanner doesnt send you to any results. Just takes me to the websearch option.
it will use barcode scanner to get the UPC and match it to description, then search third party databases and google for a match. I tried about 3 different household food items with this app, none of them came up. disappointing.
Used this for a while & thought it great until I checked a few items I knew had wheat. They came up gluten free too. Can't really trust it. Really like the concept though.
I scanned three items. One was gluten free, which the app got right, but the other two, which were raviolis and spaghetti Os, the app said were gluten free. Not useful for a newbie trying to decipher ingredients lists.
Downloaded and when I went to scan a UPC, it asked me to download another app that would be the "bar scanner". If it's just a bar scanner, how come it wants access to all my contacts and web history?

Clean, simple and easy to use.
Hoped to scan and get yes or no on gluten content. This scans, then you go to a Web site (1 of 3...) to see gluten info. I scanned 4 very common items, only 1 was found. Bummed, my thinking or wants are beyond this app :( uninstalled.
If a lot people are saying that the websites you have are bringing up false results why not choose different websites. I think it was very rude when you told that lady to contact the other websites rather then find more accurate websites. Celiac is no joke and I don't like that i feel like you take it as one and by the way its not the same as gluten intolerance and a lot of people dont do this for a fad i know.
