About the Authors
Mike Chapple is a technology professional, author, and professor with broad experience in computing and technology. Crossing two decades, his experience includes user support, information security, databases, and technology leadership. Mike currently serves as Senior Director for Enterprise Support Systems and Concurrent Assistant Professor of Computer Applications at the University of Notre Dame.
David Seidl, CISSP is the Senior Director for Campus Technology Services at the University of Notre Dame where he also teaches networking and security in Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business. David has over 20 years of IT experience in a variety of roles in general IT and information security. He is the technical editor for the 6th and 7th editions of the Sybex CISSP Study Guide, and he has co-authored certification and information security books.

Test closed at 48q, losing progress. App did not close. Diagrams are unreadable on a phone. Buggy. Edit: 75 questions into a 125 question test I discovered that accidentally tapping the back arrow, located just 5mm from the next button, exits the test. No prompt. No scoring. No save and continue later, just hours lost. Very poor design.
You need to review the results for each practice exam right after you take it, there's no way to go back and review later. Also text gets cut off mid-sentence for some questions and also some results, making it difficult to understand.
This app is not letting you go through the exam history even after payment. You can only take a few screenshots when you do your exam. The back button while doing a quizz will not give you a warning:"you are about to leave the exam, are you sure you want to continue?" JUST NOW, I was at ard 70 questions out of 125 questions and I wasted my time! I won't be able to retrieve my questions/answers and even know ky own progress. This is extremely frustrating and not at all user friendly
Questions are fine. But the design is sucked. In the old version we can choose the specific topic we want to practise, i mean we can choose all of the questions in the topic. But now we can only select 50 questions in each topic one time, and next time of course i would like to select another 50 questions in the same topic but i cannot, the apps still display the old 50 questions again.
Amazing app. Used this app to augment my studying. I would take tests and go over the wrong answers. Screenshot the explanation and use these as my flashcards to sure up my weak areas. I have passed the test and am now CISSP certified. Highly recommend.
Best for short quizzes. I can a short quiz anytime I have 10 mins. The dashboard functionality is good. It shows the question base completion per Area.
You can easily loose all your answers during a test. I lost 100 answers out of 125, corresponding to 1h30 of practice. Questions seem accurate to prepare the certification
Chromebook will back out of exam if screen locks, sucks at question 120 of test. Mobile will not always show complete answers to questions. This functionality kind of limits use.
Accidentally tapping the back button means you irretrievably lose all progress on your active test.
Terrible! You can't pause test. Once you exit, you will have to start all over.
You cannot delete a test that you did not answer any question in basically ruining your overall score. I did a test and the proficiency is still 0 on evert domain although i did 78%

the questions are same from the book. however, lot of the answers are wrong as compared to the answers in the book
No resume button. You lose everything should you attend to something else

Questions are top notch. It's a good value for $10. I almost gave it 5 stars because the questions are that good and helpful compared to other more expensive material. The app is stable (I use it often). I'm very disappointed that you can't randomize the order of the answers. That is a must have feature! Good thing there's alot of questions. However I am starting to mind map some unfortunately . Also the ability to disable the timer would be nice.
Works great. Comment is close enough, gives you a good approximation of your progress. Wish you could review previous tests. I passed the exam and I was averaging 80%+ in the app. Obviously read a book cover to cover as well
So far so good. You cannot review questions of the past attempted tests; you can just see the performance history! So if you missed to review a particular test or some questions of a test, you will have to probably retake the test.
Became very slow and hang on 220+ questions in full test, lost several hours answering, very sad. Short tests are quite good
NOT a lot of question diversity. Can't review questions. It would also be nice to be able to do one question at a time. since this is a mobile application and I don't always have time to do a full test.
Just took and passes CISSP. This app was great for on the go study and the questions were very similarly worded like the real deal. It is a little too technical, but we'll worth the price.
There is no push during the test and unable to review all the past attempted test
Is there going to be a updated version to reflect year 2018 CBK?
One minor issue: In portrait mode, when the question number is 100 or higher, the green header at the top of the screen cuts off the top of the question. Sounds like someone missed a use case during functional testing.
Space for improvements
Great supplement to the official app. Still needs the ability to randomize more or being able to set own test size would be nice.
I wonder what you guys where thinking. This is an on the go app with 125 questions. I should be able to pause and resume. I know there's a custom build. 2nd when you are done you must review the entire 125 Questions otherwise you loose all your reviews, this is ridiculous. The final issue is the next button and the Android back button. If you accidentally click the back button all your progress are gone, you have to start all over. It is not fair.
