Paid the fee to get the updated roster as stated in the description & was missing three & four players for the starting lineup for the Chicago Cubs at Atlanta Braves game in April of 2022. Also, the roster for minor league teams is not included. Although I was already aware of that, it would be nice to have that same feature, as long as it's accurate, that this has for MLB games
I love this app! It is very easy to use! I love the fact that you can see any stat you want either for a game or the team stats for the whole season. But it took me a while to figure out how to transfer data from one device to another. My tablet for the last 5 years now frequently closes the app when in use and I didn't want to lose the team stats from my son's travel team. I had to individually transfer 151 games, one at a time. Wish I would have been able to transfer stats just once as a team.
I've been using iScore to keep stats for my Stratomatic 1964 complete season replay. Once you figure out the rosters, the app is very intuitive with game creation and play a breeze. It's always easy and quick to get to your stats and totals. The only downside is that there is no league standing function or Team Win Loss record available. The ability to upload data off one device and drop it into another is accurate and reliable, but tedious. Great product overall.
Nothing will beat pen and paper for me, but I tried this out and I love it. Super intuitive with tons of options. I don't have to worry about making sure I remember my scorebook, or need to buy a $15 program if invited to an impromptu game, because this is an incredible failsafe. The feature of importing the scorecard a .pdf is an incredible wrinkle. Highly recommended, even if you're a purist like me.
This app is great. As an assistant college softball coach I've been able to use this app alongside the paperbook our old fashioned coach likes to keep. I was able to email the SID our game information from out of state during our spring trip! Best of all it's free and so easy to use. I have no come across a play that doesn't have the options to choose from. Thank you for an amazing app!!!
Full-featured but not entirely intuitive, some things are confusing at first. I'd like to be able to add a player after the matchup has started, but don't see a way. Even if I add them to the team and go back to the game they don't appear as substitutes. The app crashes sometimes, for instance when viewing a team's scorecard from the menu in a live game. This is (hopefully) constructive criticism and not a complaint. On the whole I am very impressed and grateful for a great free app. Thanks!
Great app! Makes it really easy to score games. The one thing I do not like is that you can't add more roster spots to a team once you're scoring a game. So if you accidentally didn't set up enough roster spots for a team and the game goes into extras you might run out of players and can't add any more :/
Had no idea how to use it, and it was a little rough at first, but by the 2nd inning It all cleared up. Really good app.
Great app. Takes some getting used to after using GC for so long. It is really growing on me as I am becoming more familiar with it.
Pretty easy to learn. I use it to keep stats on my daughter
Very little tech help, if any at all. They answered me twice by asking stupid questions that should not matter for the ? I was asking. Now they won't answer me at all. Data collection is great! Stats are great! Very large choice of data to choose from depending on personal needs. NOT ENOUGH TECH HELP
Great app, I score senior softball and they allow 11 players on the field (mid filder or short fielder) and Iscore only allows 10. Wish there was an option for 11 as I always have to use the closest fielder on the play instead of fielder 11 which changes the stats.
As a youth baseball coach, this is app is superior to Game Changer. I have used both. Access to player stats, spray charts, pitch count, etc DURING GAME is great. User interface is better than GC. It's so intuitive, I can score a game while coaching. I can't say enough about this app.
works great. easy to keep score. isync feature is cool. like the flexibility built in for little league teams. few adds needed for coach pitch, better flexibility to set lineups before game start. would be great to sync rosters and score with other iscore users at same game.
Very difficult to edit. The instructions, examples are not accurate. Even editing line ups is difficult. But if you must edit play(s) it's impossible. Do yourself a favor and get Gamechanger. It's MUCH easier to follow and looks/feels better with more information available for coaches to peruse.
Update. Only issue I have seen so far is app doesn't recognize a double header with only 7 innings. Not an issue unless you go into extra innings with man on second. Not updating starting roster before games even with purchase, first time this has been an issue in the three years I have been using the app - maybe MLB link issue, but still a pain after the $20 purchase. Since I only use it for pro games, purchasing the ability to download starting lineups is/was great.
The best score keeping app I have found. The only thing that could make this better is the ability to edit stats. So if you found this amazing app in the middle of a season you could add the missed stats.
So far so good scoring a game, crashes every time i try to go to score cards, would like to be able to edit players in real time, adding opponents players throughout the game would be better rather then just hanging them random blanks
The best FREE scoring app on the market. I like it mostly because it already has the USSSA Rosters uploaded and it makes preparations between games so much easier. The stats are very detailed and easily uploads to maxpreps. The iscore central app allows parents to watch the games virtually for Free. Did I mention it's totally FREE, FREE, .. FRE, FREE FREE, FREE!
Not as good as the Apple version. It does not recognize switch hitters - I've had to keep changing them from left to right, based on the pitcher - but it's serviceable, for now.
It took some time to get used to as it needs to cover lots of obscure situations that I don't run into such as rules allowing for an out to be recorded for "too many HRS". But if your leagu6has that rule having it as an option is really nice. After I got used to it the interface is intuitive and I LOVE the scorecard it produces. I like to score MLB games as I watch so I did purchase the MLB package. It is worth the cost to me but if you have time you can manually enter the needed info.
