Island Castaway: Lost World®

It tends to be a little glitchy. For instance, sometimes when I pick up resources it picks it up continuously until I move away from the item. It could be beneficial like picking up pearls or a bit of an irritant like picking up fruit which will fill up your inventory bag and you won't be able to pick anything else up until you use or discard the item. Besides that, all in all, I enjoy it so far.

Read the other reviews before I downloaded and started playing this game. Starts off slow, then becomes fun, then becomes aggravating. Power runs out too quickly, and, when I pick up map pieces the screen locks me out and shows me a map that I dont want to see, all the while, an animal is attacking me. Too many unnecessary pop-ruin the "flow" of the game.

This is.. the best adventure game I have ever played! This is my third time downloading it and I always enjoy replaying the story. Although in my third run here is my first time reaching the second island. The story is very interesting and it's not pay to win! You don't have to buy gems or even use them to complete quests. All you need is patience and time here. I do wish you can add save slots here.. I already miss the sanctuary island :( (Yeah, I kind of skipped dialogue before departing).

I really prefer the original game, for which I paid and played on an earlier tablet. It was much more fun, no waiting on cooking, no need to level up, etc. The original story line was more interesting, in my opinion.

What update? How could have possibly updated "game bugs" when nothing has been done to further the game in several years? At least give us the option of erasing our game play, and starting over from the very beginning. The first part of the game is fun, uograding tools and learning things to cook. Now i sit here, still in the same spot for several years, and waste away on a boring island.

The game is original but there are several bugs that need fixed...ads popping up just for entering an area the 'auto save' stops anything you are doing and some of the challenges get repetitious and frustrating.

It is easier than some of the other survival games I have tried. It is very doable and quite entertaining. Must keep up the good work. Left your game alone for a while due to my phone breaking. Hey. I am back and looking for the good games that I did have. Thank you much.

10/10 for the story line and everything. But I will only give 3 stars because the game is unfinished. ;( Other players have been waiting for years now, but nothing changed. If only knew that then I wouldn't play this. The game is abandoned, and it hurts to give up on this too. ;(

I'm selective in which apps to review. A game that I've loved coming back to. Story of a ragtag group of castaways is fantastic. Characters are diverse, feel like they've all had lives before these events. Smooth gameplay, collecting is fun, feelings of accomplishment when building new facilities for base camp. The only problems is there comes a point far into it where you're forced to spend 15 hours straight *real time* hunting. Plus it's a shame this hasn't been updated in 3 years.

Great game but I often lose progress and go back to a previous point which is annoying. The autosave happens at random points instead of everytime you complete a task and to make matters worse I can't seem to find the manual save button? Also for the time bound tasks, you can't see what the task is until you accept it. And if you do, since you don't have anything you fail the task and have to do it again.

Enjoying it so far. 2 suggestions. 1) Given the vastness of the island, is it possible to establish a fast travel system between areas to cut down the 'traveling times' between areas? 2) Moreover, is it possible to implement an auto-run system in which the quest icon which is tapped will automatically direct the player to the quest giver? This helps with accelerating the time required in which a task is completed until reported to the quest giver.

good game and good story line so far. quests are okay however some cannot be completed first time due to them being 7 minutes long and it takes like 8 to cook or to plant a seed then waiting for it takes longer then the quest. more food options to get energy or other ways of getting energy would be good. A save button would be brill as I don't want to wait for it to save automatically all the time. graphics are nice and pretty.

This game is amazing. Need new update. For those who gets stuck in quest, here is the tip, before accepting the quest, close the quest window a few times, they will show you images of required things in quest in very short glimpse. When you touch them they ask you to take the quest and then you close the window without taking the quest. The pictures will appear (in glimpse) at the bottom of game screen.

Only on level 4 but seems to be a fun game. It runs a little slow, having to wait for manufacturing. But its still fun. I'm level31 now. I can't stop playing. But at this level it does required in-game spending. If you handle spending real money, I 'd give it five stars. And if you enjoy a slow paced adventure with a lot of running, this game is for you. It's a high quality and habit it forming.

I like this game! It is very interesting.. I played up to chapter 11, and the experience was good. Dishes ,Potions,Tools, Insects, etc. However, I don't know when the update is coming though. It' s too bad, because you can't unlock even half of the second island. But overall, good!

THE GAME WILL NEVER BE UPDATED. G5 is just the distributor. The actual company that created the game disbanded years ago. The game ends in a state where the story is left hanging and updates require things only available by purchase, because the game hasn't offered them yet. It's sad that this game will never be finished.

The game has potential, but is frustrating and boring the more you play it. Takes way too long to cook or make anything, you don't know what the task is before you accept it, its hard to collect stars to level up and defeat enemies. I'm uninstalling because I can't overpower the giant crab, it is too powerful and it will take 2 full days to make enough food and arrows to get it.

I've played a lot of these type of games and although there is a lot of running around the game is fun to play. A walk option would be useful, but still a game worth coming back to, constructing different things to aid survival is easily done. The character interaction is good. Worth the down load.

Overall so far I like the game. Different people to do stuff for makes it more interesting. Just wish the way of walking around was different

You need a lot of patience and not be annoyed that it stops abruptly on the second island. I agree there should be a warning that you stopped development on this game.

As a game the idea is great and becomes addictive. However while i was playing at some point the game clashed and i had to uninstall and reinstall it, however i have to start from the beginning. It would be nice if it could be avtually saved and even after the delete to continue at the level you used to be

This game is addictive and very exciting. I cannot stop playing it. It's the best gave ever! Lots of adventures and thrilling

Playing this again. Wish there was more to it. Just stops mid way and leaves you hanging. Still its better than most. Not bad

I have enjoyed playing this game and another in the series for several years off and on a d justive it. I have anxiously been waiting for a new game in the series to come out for a few years now.
