Have been playing thid gane for many months and enjoyed it. Great ser up even with only 6 towers. Was really fun to play, till they re-vamped it. Now they doubled the comercials and limited the towers you can have to only 4 unless you watch a commercial for the 5th one and pay for the 6th one. Spent more time watching comercials than playing. Uninstalling!
Not a horrible game. There are some things that I would change like setups not being erased every time you turn off the game. That being said I'm happy that this is one of the few classic tower defense type games still around. Most of the others look horrible with bright flashy colours and need to be futuristic.
Paid 99 cents for ad-free, but it's still PACKED with ads. After every single level, plastered on both sides of the main map, even on the opening title page. There's also a dozen heros and towers, but half are advertised as for sale only. The game itself is standard tower defense, but you can only place towers at designated points (unlike Bloons TD for example). And like other reviews have said, I think the tower upgrade menu is broken and doesn't do anything.
If you're newer to TD, good game to cut your teeth on. If you're a TD vet, you've played this one a dozen times.. hence the 3*. Nothing I've found yet sets it aside, much less above, every other TD out there. Same tower types & enemy units. Same stages & animations. Same rinse & repeat gameplay: upgrade towers, upgrade hero, play next stage. For what it is though, not at all badly executed. Smooth running, ok animations, controls feel decent, balance is good imo. May change later.
It appears the developers lost interest with the hard levels since they are easier than the normal levels. A reasonable distraction, additionally it is perfectly possible to complete the game without any of the in-game purchases which is a bonus. I've played every level in both easy and hard modes.
Ummm, the tutorial is nonsense. It's confusing... Never figured out how to do new abilities or get the basic mechanics of the game. I've played about a dozen different tower defense games and this is the worst that I've played. Tried playing tutorial 3 times and couldn't take being confused anymore, so I uninstalled and will be looking for a better game.
Was a 5 star review, then went back into the app and finally had options to get the other towers for use. 99 cents to permanently unlock a slot. Another slot for watching an ad. I'm guessing each time. Wouldn't know. Uninstalled immediately. Shame, looked like a really fun game. Would have been worth 5 bucks or so if it was straight up priced.
Fun game but the attempt at making you pay is sad. They throw all the "new" turrets at the front but you can't use them unless you pay. I had all my heroes and free turrets fully upgraded halfway through the game, now I am just collecting gold that I can't even spend. If the game seems difficult, its not. You just have to learn what your turrets do. You literally don't have to spend anything and you can make it through the entire game. I've had the game maybe 1 week and I'm almost done.
Update June 2021: Completed every level and waited a long time for new levels. There are many new ones but they're just not engaging or challenging and there is no reward. There's no purpose to the coins and additional purchases. The game just feels repetitive and pointless, it needs a new dimension adding to it!
Okay let me start off by saying this is a great game I love the way you can work different strategies in by switching out heroes and towers.....on the heroes though, there is no way to figure out what the upgrades for each character are?...seeing as how the last two on each hero is different....I also like how you can unlock a few new ones along the way....but I've also bought a few things as well.... I hope a future update will include more info screens and more levels...
Awesome game. Great wide map lots of stages. Challenging stages. Unfortunately i played a stage for more than hours and got up to 32nd stage and had 80000 cogs/points and did not get any rewards after reaching wave of more than 30. It kept saying wave 24 but i have surpassed more than wave 30. I have a screen shot of the game which i want to share with you guys.
Pretty good game as far as tower defenses go... People need to learn how to play the game before giving bad reviews... In order to Upgrade your Towers, you need to Buy the Upgrades, with game currency, not real money... Then during gameplay you will be able to Upgrade your Towers, for a small game currency fee... Otherwise you are stuck with level one towers forever...
Decent, free, alright. All I can think up. The upgrading system for the tower is broken, however, and everything is unlocked right away. Another thing is stolen maps, some maps are blatant rips from Kingdom Rush with a different skin.
This is the exact same game as Steampunk Defense. All they did was release it in multiple titles. I wonder how many times they did it. Steampunk defense has issues but it's still fun, I'm giving this one 2 stars for my concern that instead of giving the issues they just trick people by duplicating it under different titles.
Fun game! Lots of upgrading options, have not yet encountered any real money spending. The levels get more difficult quickly, which is a plus, but nothing is too impossible. Great casual game!
Great time waster. For free! You don't have to spend money to win those harder levels. You have to play smarter thats all. But I reallg liked the game its free and eventually you do pass it. You could spend money but they don't trick you into it or shove it down your throat like other games that claim to be free. I love this game.
I like having upgradeable troops, towers, and heroes each with unique abilities. Amount of rewards are fair. Can be very challenging, so have to be familiar with strengths and weaknesses of your defenses against quick, heavy, immune, ground, air, and support enemies.
Great casual game. Don't need to purchase to complete. To Devs: I see new levels are coming out, what's the ETA for the next? I've completed all levels on normal and hard node. Can you include a level editor in the future?
Great game. My biggest issue is that you don't know if the mission has air units and i refuse to watch an ad every stage to open a new tower slot. I would still be playing if this was resolved
Exactly like the other 8000 apps on playstore. You start, you can do no wrong, win levels, get upgrades, watch about 1000 ads and then you hit the wall. The level every one of these app producers make where unless you pay, you can NOT advance.
Pretty fun but VERY basic. Its impossible to tell if there is going to be flying enemies. When you get to a certain point you earn no new heros or towers & can only pay for them with money. All gold & diamonds earned are useless & you just collect them for nothing.
Game is unbalanced. Easy level is way too hard. Upgrading towers is very expensive. Upgrades should cost less than building a new tower. Speed control 1x should be the slowest not the fastest.
Took a day for me to figure out how to beat each level without even firing a shot. Mildly entertaining but lots of different options when you can do all levels with a basic 4 turrets.
A bit to repetitive without new things to unlock. Also don't like that you had no idea if Air threats were coming before you started the level. Didn't know how to prepare for each level
This game has more adds than any game i have ever played from the market. Finish a level and normally most give u the option to watch an add to double the take. This game will automatically play adds at almost every cut...Good game just greedy developers..duh..stupid..that many adds equals delete
It's a perfect old school TD game. Yes, it is offer purchases, but you can beat the levels with a lot of work, without pay. I recommend however to unlock one extra tower space with purchase, it's make the game much easier, also keep the developers alive. I love the sudden extra missions (save the villager, kill the saboteur), you have to be always ready. I had a little bug, when I moved to a new phone, but the developer solved the issue in minutes. Extra thanks for that.
