Island Experiment

Definitely geared towards constant micro purchasing. Every task takes a certain amount of food, and some of them take a ridiculous amount of food to complete. Each task usually has multiple steps, which uses up your food supply really quickly. Growing your own food takes coins, and the food return is low compared to how much time and coin it takes to complete. So to sum up, this is a good game for people who can't play more than 10 minutes at a time, because anyone else is going to be frustrated.

The game teaches warehouse management but very little else. In order to progress you need to complete tasks and the reward is small compared to the effort required to complete. The side games mainly consists of clearing the paths of islanders too lazy or unable to do so themselves. In the end, I found the game boring and nothing like the puzzle solving game it was advertised as.

Gameplay is nice, graphics are better on my phone than through FB. But I feel tricked, because I downloaded the game based on an ad that looked completely different. I keep playing hoping that game is in here somewhere, because solving puzzles to get to treasure seemed much more fun than this. I dislike building town games for the most part, I find them boring. But if you like them, this one is pretty good.

It is fairly difficult to get coins, and every quest requires more and more coins. It takes too long to get anything done. The "deals" are sooooo annoying. I do not use real money, nor will I ever use real money on a game. It is not necessary to keep popping up new deals everytime the game loads and to wait a little bit before you can close out of it.

you have to do to much to earn money. the game is confusing, if you don't read every little thing.... and it makes you read a lot! I've been playing on and off for almost a year, still can't explore the pyramid.. one of the first things it asks you too do.... just seems like the game is all over the place, and doesn't give you enough money/points to do it. plus takes forever to load and will, not constantly... but often reload and start you out a few steps behind. over all it's a filler game.

I am still new to this game, level 9. I really like it and will be playing it for longer. One thing that I ran into is the little side quests. Small adventures, these are great, I've done 2. This last one was fun but I wasn't able to finish all three islands because the good accumulation was too slow. I was on it as often as possible and even used 10 cristals to replinish it. It would have cost 20 the second time. I think they have it set up like that to get you to spend money.

so the adds for this game were very misleading. I expected more puzzles, not a building and wait game. With the insane amount of advertising and different missions and buttons on the screen, everything is very busy and confusing. I'm not a fan of how slow the gameplay is, the lack of puzzles, and ultimately how busy and annoying all of the adds and news is. would not recommend.

this is not as advertised. I dont mind that in the end, it a nice game with a good look. my only issue, it costs 130 coins to get 44 food, but I currently can only get 39 coins every 3 mins. not including how much food a single task can need. the balance in this is awful. if there were a mini game or something to fill in the periods, where you honestly cant do anything, then it would be much better

I downloaded this game based off of an ad, but the gameplay was totally different from the what was shown in the ad. Even though I was angry about the deceptive adverrising, I decided to give it a chance anyway. Unfortunately the game is basically unplayable. The resources take too long to gather and run out too quickly to play the game for more than a quick minute.

I love puzzle games and, based off the ads, I thought this one would be challenging for a while. There is nothing challenging about it except for the challenge to see how long I can be patient. I have tried numerous building/farming/town games before and they do not keep my attention long. I'm going back to my other puzzle games and hopefully I can find one similar to what this game was advertised to be.

Advert suggested logic puzzles, but nothing of the sort, at least not early in the game. Walking around clicking on things to build houses, shops, etc... boring, then run out of credits to even do that, forcing you to wait an age for other ones to be awarded, or buy packs. Graphics ok as it goes, but not massively different to many other games on the market. Uninstalled.

I played this game for literally years and loved it. I reached the end of the quests and no update for months now. Only side quests, spend some time updating the main game please. I continued for a few months with side quests only but once they changed the chests to opening in 1 minute i haven't played since. First time i haven't been playing multiple times everyday for years. The fun has gone out of it.

I played this game for years and I liked it very much for it's originality and great variety of quests, pets, items and situations, but now I think the game will come to an end. More and more bugs, archipelagos closed, the festivals still closed , now I can't play the game anymore because some kind of "billing error". I still keep 3 stars cotation hoping the game will survive or the second version will materialize soon.

Not the game that was advertised. So far (after 4 or 5 days of playing) there have been zero puzzles to solve or minigames to play. That being said, its pretty fun for a build and wait game, although its really slow at first. It takes a while before you dont have to sit and farm gold for an hour at a time in order to actually be able to do anything. Ive got 8 gold generating buildings now and haven't had to worry about gold income since then.

Higher levels should be rewarded with fewer clicks not more. I quit because it is just too annoying to mindlessly click all the boring little decorations. There should be a sweep to collect option. I can dedicate a fair amount of time to a game but all the time it takes to wait for completion of tasks leaves me bored waiting and so I move on to playing something else.

At times I wonder why I'm still playing. It takes way to much time to gather coins to make the food to gather resources to do quests. There is just too much to get together to advance, that it is much too time consuming. The special events are even worse. The only real way to advance is with microtransactions, with no consistent way to get gems in game, making the game extremely frustrating and inaccessible for people who can't spend cash on this waste of time. This game is NOT worth the time.

Game is extremely slow paced because the main rescources are either very slow or difficult to come by for a while. Graphics are pretty good. Taps, on the screen, either lag or are way too sensitive. Overall, decent game but definitely has some bugs that need to be worked out.

concept is good but you run out of food(energy) too quickly to accomplish much, and it takes a while to grow more. You need too many "resources" to complete the next task(it takes many hours, sometimes days, to collect the items needed to complete tasks or upgrade buildings and such). Of course, all this aggrevation can be avoided IF you continually purchase their "rescue packs".....

I really like this game, I've played before and came back to it since I remembered how much I liked it. Although I didn't remember how fast the energy gets used, which really is annoying. Also, the costs of literally everything is too high. Want to build a new bakery?10k of coins. Want to make butter? You need 6 workers.Everything costs too much resources, which in the end is drastically slowing down the progression of the game. I probably won't play for long because of this, it's disappointing.

The adverts for this game made it look like you'd solve physics style puzzles as the main game play. I'm not interested in building a village and after an hour of play that's all the game has offered. It's incredibly slow to load and has been boring so far. Not sticking around to see if it improves. Delete.

This game was frustrating as it is very slow to progress through it. Making money is really hard, you start out with a few buildings that net you 13 coins every three minutes. Takes forever to accumulate... Takes forever to be able to upgrade the warehouse which really hampers your progress as well. Want very stimulating at all.

So many popups! i get it, game developers need money. But there's a limit to how many popups I can handle just to play a game. There's always four to start, then the popup bucket of gems on the island, then the floating balloon things and the constant events happening.... gah! uninstall!!!! When i wasn't constantly being interrupted, it was a fun game.

Decent game. the constant pop ups in game to connect to Facebook or for in-app purchases is very annoying. Some of the required time pieces are rather ridiculous and I would actually prefer to watch ads to speed them up/lessen the cost of things if possible. would much rather have ads than the constant Facebook and in-app purchase pop ups.

I really like the game, but have the devs abandoned it? If there were more ways to make friends and interact, even if it's just to send excess resources to friends, that'd be great. Please keep updating this game. I have no interest in changing to the farming style version at all. I like this style best. And would love to be able to complete it.

This is a very cute fun little game to play, the tasks are simple and easy to use, and geberally its easy to play with min. forced microtransactions However one main problem I've had with since the start of the game is collecting enough coins. Very quickly every task starts costing 200+ coins, but each building etc that generates money generally makes around 16/2 minutes, and it doesn't stack, meaning you need to be playing all hours of the day just to make enough money to make unnecessary items

Game is incredibly imbalanced and you are constantly running out of one resource or another. Of course you can spend money but the rewards aren't really enticing enough to do so. I also have an issue with the fact that every ad I saw for this game made it seem like there would be puzzles. In actuality it's more like a really boring clicker game. There's no point in holding your resources or spending them because everything is so meh. So the only option left is to uninstall :/

if you see a really catchy advertisement on Facebook do not download this game. advertisement is not game play. there are no puzzles to solve. it's a build and wait game. completely wasted my time. deleting immediately. why bother advertising one game and it's actually something completely different. now I'm looking for that game as advertised instead of this rubbish.

The reason I downloaded this app was because of an ad I saw that made this seem like an immersive, story-telling, and puzzle solving game. I give it three stars because that's not what it is (at least not for the first few levels). This is a visually pleasing rpg (questing and achieving styling) , farming (have to build and create resources to advance further), and building (customization "farmville-esque") kind of game. With a seemingly expansive playfield.
